It truly was a pleasure shopping here with the employees. The disgruntled, inconsiderate seasonal traffic not so much. The people who worked here were kind. The CVS pharmacy in…read moreEnglewood, Florida is infamous for long lines, horribly slow service, and a culture of rudeness to customers that originates with the head pharmacist, a sour old woman who consistently abuses her little power base there. The rest of the staff, with one or two rare exceptions, follow her lead of open disrespect and nastiness towards senior customers. And heaven help you if you're filling a pain medicine prescription. That judgmental old hag behind the counter will very intentionally make your experience hell, dragging it out for days and often ultimately refusing to fill the order at all. What a nasty human being! That CVS store is losing customers in droves, as they have just lost my patronage after nearly 20 years. Apparently, the CVS managers just don't care.
