I love a good breakfast and they didn't disappoint. Order on door dash, food came packaged well and still very hot. I got the Giambott, two eggs scrambled with Italian sausage, banana peppers, pepperoni, home fries topped with mozzarella. It was amazing and so filling. I got it with rye toast, I wished the toasted had been more toasted, but that could of been from door dash traveling. But this was an amazing good breakfast, especially after a fun Friday night out! My son got the pancakes. Came with three very large cakes. He got a side of apples and cinnamon. He thought was going to be like the inside of an apple pie type sauce, but it truly was just cut up apples with cinnamon. But overall the pancakes were good! read more

I love it here . For a while it's been my Wednesday escape. In the summer I would take the kids for breakfest, and some days alone to unwind fir the week ahead . We love Nick and the staff. Always so friendly and treat the kids with such kindness. There recently renovated last year and it's so well lit and clean. Very welcoming , you feel right at home. Set yourself ans ger ready for some amazing food. The food is always fresh , delicious., and with so much to choose from. My go to is the #2. Which consist for your choice of 2 eggs , home fries, choice or meat (bacon, sausage or ham) Bacon is usually on my plate. Then your choice of toast. Such a cute little place. Excellent food. I had the #2 and they let me substitute regular sausage for turkey sausage. Usually a hit or miss but their turkey sausage was very good. Potatoes and homemade white toast were excellent as well. There seemed to be only one waitress when we went on 9/2 and she was great. It was really busy - so if you go there, make sure you have ample time to wait and eat. Some might complain about the wait, but a good diner on a Sunday morning will have a wait. Is what it is. The restaurant is pretty bare bones and simple inside. No-frills but clean. The service and food were excellent. The crispy home fries were the star of the show; crispiest I've ever had and they were just what the doctor ordered. The #2 was a standard homestyle breakfast done right. The Italian scramble (I forgot what it was called) was pretty zesty with the pepperoni and hot peppers and was just my style with Tabasco sprinkled on top. I was surprised to learn I didn't review this place yet! I have been here quite a few times. When I have company in town this always where I take them for a breakfast, and they never disappoint! This small, I mean small, there are only 5 tables and a bar is very easy to pass if you are driving down Elmwood so drive slow! Pro tip: look for the huge bakery sign, this hidden gem is right next door. On my most recent trip here I had the Buffalo chicken finger omelet, which at first glance sounds very odd, but it was absolutely delicious. The presentation was great and the fresh blue cheese crumbles really off set the spicy chicken fingers. They have daily specials from s'mores French toast, creme brûlée pancakes, to the savory crab cake eggs Benedict! There really is something for everybody. The owner/cook/ chef is always on site in the open kitchen where you can watch him make each plate with care. Pro tip: definitely try to get here early, they get busy fast. And it is a cramped restaurant. Be warned because it is small it is loud **UPDATE** This has become my favorite breakfast spot. Every time I come here, the specials are so delicyand creative! Every plate that comes out is a work of art. The chef prepares EVERYTHING with care. This time around I had the bacon Gouda sandwich and the Sponge candy pancakes. Well, this is Nick's son who run this location and lemme tell ya, he must get it from his dad! It is a very small place, but it seems they may be expanding soon! I got the special that they had for the weekend which was the French Croque Madame - basically a ham and cheese sandwich with egg and fresh greens on top. Just WOW! So flavorful. For me, it was the home fries. Fresh potatoes that were seasoned perfectly and were crisp but not deep fried. They were crunch and soft. I cannot stand the deep friend potato cubes some places call home fries. I met a very lovely older couple who I spoke with while I was eating and they also got the sandwich. They were not disappointed. They had some fried Feta cheese dish that sounded delightful and I can't wait to try it when I return! read more

My favorites are the eggs Benny and "Nick Griddle" which is Nick's epic version of a McGriddle. I opted for pancakes and bacon and I was not disappointed. I've had some of the breakfast classics like eggs, bacon, home fries, etc. and some of the lunch options...everything is always delicious! Eggs were very good and cooked perfectly over easy. The pancakes were fluffy but I found them difficult to cut with a fork seemed to be tough but they were tasty as well. Me and my boyfriend visited Saturday morning and when we got there the outside was under construction and the inside wasn't a very good scenery. There was one waitress when me and my boyfriend visited which was no problem she was very nice in the beginning and started to begin being very snobby. The food was not very good at all for $50 that we spent the turkey sausage tasted like dog food or something and the eggs were very unseasoned. The drinks are not refillable as they are $3 and come in a tiny glass. All in all this restaurant is a 0/10 and i wouldn't recommend it to any who is visiting. read more
