Browder Painting Company - Our Crew is Ready to Roll when You are!

    Browder Painting Company

    (142 reviews)

We Recommend Browder…read more.... The exterior of our garage door was in bad shape after less than 8 years since the original brown paint was turning red and running down to the ground. Plus we needed to redo baseboards in the house due to lots of wear and tear. Since we've seen trucks from Browder throughout our development and reviews were very good, we got in touch. Stars: - Overall: 5 - The Start: 5 - Explanations: 5 - Scheduling: 5 - Process: 5 - Workmanship: 5 - Communication: 5 - Cleanliness: 5 - Cost: 4 - The Start: I called on a Monday and scheduled an appointment with Nick Nystrom, one of their Project Managers, for that Thursday. - Explanations: Nick assessed the situation, both inside and out, and made arrangements to send us large samples of paint (and stucco for a small amount of damage) colors by overnight mail. Nick was a very easy guy to deal with. - Scheduling: Simple. Browder is usually very busy with multiple crews (currently they've got 30-35 painters), but they had an opening the following Tuesday and Wednesday so we grabbed it. The scheduler noted "your lead painter will be Juan Camarillo. He's one of our best". - Process: Nick the Project Manager arrived at 730 AM on Tuesday with the team of Juan and Reynaldo. With booties over their shoes, they moved furniture and covered the flooring...tile with carpeting in the bedrooms...with plastic sheeting. The garage door and most of the baseboards were done the first day, Tuesday. The rest was finished Wednesday morning followed by moving things back into place and a thorough cleanup. - Workmanship: Very good. Many people stopped to admire and ask about the garage door since the problem seems to be an epidemic in our neighborhood (picture #1). The baseboards look brand new...although some sections were "overpainted" and had "granules" hanging down (picture #2). I called Nick who asked Juan to investigate. Juan trimmed them in 15 minutes. I must say Juan Camarillo (there are a few Juans at Browder) is a master with 11 years at Browder who took the same care in our house as he would in his own. His assistant, Reynaldo, was an exterior painter for 8 years and fairly new to the interior. There was a difference in skill and care. - Communication: Excellent. Nick and Juan stayed in touch to keep us up-to-date and patiently answered questions. - Cleanliness: Really good. Even during the painting process indoors, they did a fine job. - Cost: Reasonable. A bit more than $3,900. All in all it was a very good experience. Our next job will be the walls and we'll definitely ask for Juan C. if we go with Browder again. NOTE: When Juan and Reynaldo moved a dresser in the primary bedroom, one of the legs was bent. I couldn't fix it myself so I spoke to Nick who sent Joe, 1 of 2 Field Supervisors, to investigate. Between the 2 of us, we got it back in workable shape.

We have lots of wood trim and they were exacting, it looks fantastic. They also came out after the painting was done for a free window washing. The workers were nice and offered me advice on paint colors (including painting samples) and gave me names of good contractors for other work that I need done. Really excellent service. Will use them again.

Although questions were welcomed, none were needed. There was no pressure to make an immediate decision. Material was left for me to review at my leisure. This Company knows how to make a prospective customer feel comfortable and well informed. Since this was my first estimate, I have nothing to compare it to. I would encourage anyone considering a painting project to give this company an opportunity to give you a bid.

The kitchen and family room were all dark alder wood. we had something like 54 drawers and shelves. All handles needed to be replaced and we weRe having new quartz countertops put in. To fit his schedule, Steve (Trombley) agreed to paint, and then after the construction was done, to come back and fix anything that the work crews messed up. (which turned out to be a lot!). Before we chose Trombley Painting, we visited a few of his reference customers. These were ones that were recent. All gave glowing reviews. I can now say what his reference customers said to me. "EVERYTHING he promised to do, whether written or verbal, he did. The work was on time and top notch." You can COMPLETELY trust Trombley Painting to do the best job possible. Great communication as well as very nice people to work with. AND I need to mention the work of JC who listened to every thing I asked and when he left, his painting skills and friendship were appreciated. This is an unsolicited review. I don't do them often. Trombley is the BEST!!

After deciding to get our house painted, we set out to get 4 bids in the fall 2018.There was quite…read morea range in price and Jim Moore's bid fell in the middle. We selected Jim Moore for three reasons. First, he seemed to know his business better than the others. As an example, we have a stucco house with stuccoed pop outs around all windows. We wanted to paint the pop outs the same color as the wood trim. I was concerned that it would be hard to get a clean cut in line between the pop outs and main stucco without installing caulking at the transitions. None of the other painters had a recommendation for this. Jim told me that he would be caulking around the pop outs to ensure a clean cut in, before I even asked him. Second, he made several recommendations for a professional look that the others did not offer. For example, he recommended the use of satin sheen on all stucco, including pop outs, but to use semi gloss on the wood trim. Even though the pop outs and trim are the same color, it is much better to have the sheen the same on all stucco. It's a little thing, but it makes a difference. He made other suggestions, but I'll keep it brief. Lastly, he told me that he would not expect any payment until he was done and we had 2 weeks to look things over and make sure we were completely satisfied. Who does this? I originally told Jim that he would not have to paint our eves, as I would be installing soffits. Two weeks before painting began, I told Jim that we decided not to install soffits, so we need the eves painted. I asked for a revised bid and he quickly said, "no problem...we'll paint them with no additional charge." Again, who does this? Jim and his team arrived on schedule, worked efficiently and did a very professional job. We walked around our house for three days looking for any blemish or overspray, but found nothing. So, we called Jim and asked that he swing by to pick up payment in full (again...the whole job was done before we paid anything). We highly recommend that you consider Jim Moore Painting.

We've had a poorly constructed vent in our master bathroom that had been build to code in 1990 but when it rains a lot the water overflows into the vent and drips to the bathroom floor. We've had this issue for a few years and after last year finally had the chance to get it repaired. We made an appointment with Chris to come back and provide an estimate. In the meantime, got another company to provide a second estimate to compare. The difference between the two were quite surprising but Chris kept in contact with me and I told him I would talk it over with my significant other. The seconds estimate was considerably cheaper, but after numerous calls to set up an appointment, we never got a call back. After phone tag with Chris, we finally agreed on a date and he explained the work that would be done to fix the flashing, tar paper and some broken tiles. The work lasted about half a day and the repair was made. WDW billed me and I asked if I could make two payments over December and January to settle the bill ($1880) and I was told I could. A week later I received a call asking for the entire amount. While I couldn't really make it happen, I did and paid off the roof repair. I am very pleased with the repair and you can't tell the roof was even repaired. Thanks for the communication and work on the roof.
