I should have asked for an estimate first before going through with the repair. I checked other places and I paid higher the average amount. The job was done so I paid it. The entire company is filled with employees that are criminals! They started off with a quote for $750 for a job that shouldn't cost more than $300. After I asked them to leave they said they'll do better with the price and went down to $450. I said no after they've worked for a few minutes. So I asked them to leave again. They said they'll do it for $350. I asked "why didn't you just start at a more reasonable price at the beginning?" They said it's because a job like this does cost $750. I called two other contractors and proved to them that they're just being criminal. They said that the other companies were lying. Other contracts know of this company for over charging. Also, all these 5 star reviews on here are made by customers who are paid $50 from this company to leave them a positive review. Don't trust this company. Instead try Chapman Electric. I seldom write reviews but I feel others should know about Nick's service and code of ethics. The main 100 Amps circuit breaker in my house panel blew up and I needed to find someone quick on a Sunday afternoon. Looked up Yelp and started contacting electricians from the top of the list. Nick was ranked 5th but he has more reviews than the other top 4 guys. I spoke to the others and text them pictures of the panel. One guy said it doesn't look bad and can be reused. Another guy wanted over $3000 to replace the panel! Nick said he recommended replacing the panel (for much less than $3000) but I told him I can't afford it at this time and insisted to replace just the breaker. Nick's price for replacing just the breaker was even cheaper than the first guy who said the panel was good to reuse. Next day Nick showed up at 7am to start working but he really did not like the way the panel was burnt. He contacted a colleague and located a used panel but still in great condition that I can purchase for cheap. He was so confident in this panel that he offered 2 years warranty on it. He even upgraded the 100A breaker to 125A for free and only told me about it afterward. I now have basically a new panel with higher power at a small fraction of what others would have charged me. Most important of all is the peace of mind I have knowing Nick did the right thing ! read more
