Out front, they have life-size figures of both classic and modern characters from movies and games -- and the contrast is wild. E.T. is standing right next to Art the Clown, which pretty much tells you what kind of place this is. You'll definitely want to take pictures. Inside the store, there's a huge assortment of games, toys, plush, collectibles, and pop-culture items packed into every corner. You'll find everything from modern fandom pieces to classic toys from the '80s, which adds to the fun of browsing. Some of the more common items can feel a bit overpriced, but it's also clear that some of what they sell is harder to find, so pricing likely reflects rarity on certain pieces. It's the kind of store where you're as much there to look around as you are to buy something. I ended up walking out with a cute Wolfman plush, so mission accomplished. Definitely a fun stop if you're into collectibles, nostalgia, or just want to see something different while at the mall.

POP MART is officially bringing its "THE MONSTERS 10th Anniversary World Tour" to New York City…read more This marks the first time the exhibit is available in the U.S., following massive success in cities like Paris, Tokyo, and Shanghai. NYC hosts a massive 6,000-square-foot Labubu exhibition this summer -- featuring 9 galleries - from Friday, July 17 through August 31. It will be hosted at 423 W. 14th St., New York, NY 10014. At the gallery, I got an up-close look at initial sketches of characters like LABUBU, ZIMOMO, and TYCOCO, and see exactly how the series has evolved over the last decade. Every corner of the exhibition celebrates LABUBU's remarkable journey over the past ten years. There was a room full of Labubus from the Exciting Macaron series and Big Into Energy series, short clip about Puka, a clip about the creator of THE MONSTERS, Kasing Lung, himself. Entry costs starting at $20 for Regular (ages 10+) and $10 for Child (ages 10 and under). VIP ticket includes an exclusive bundle valued at over $130. All base entry tickets include a commemorative gift and all attendees will have the opportunity to purchase limited-edition art and merchandise. The commemorative gift included a souvenir ticket, postcard, and super mini labubu pendant. There was an interactive station for the postcard before the gift shop. I was able to stamp in a picture and the color. After the last exhibit, we exit through a massive gift shop packed with the entire 10th Anniversary collection. Here, I showed my wristband and got the VIP bundle. The VIP bundle included The Monsters 10th Anniversary Exhibition Limited Vinyl Blister Pack, Classic Mini Labubu Keychain, The Monsters 10th Anniversary Exclusive-Tote Bag, Fridge Magnet or Acrylic Shaker Pendant, and The Monsters x Scotch Brite Brand Collab Cleaning Sponge. I got the Fridge Magnet. The designs were selected at random. What an unforgettable day visiting MONSTERS BY MONSTERS NOW AND THEN in New York City! I truly can't believe its been 10 years since Kasing Lung created The Monsters and how popular they have grown since then.

My friend who went twice told me some of the exhibits have changed since she was there, which surprised her. So if you've already been to this exhibit, it may be worth going again to see the new items and altered setups ! There's also a room with pages from the original story, and a screening of an animated sequence. There's also an interactive portion where you can stamp your postcard. The end of the exhibit leads to the gift shop where you can buy collectibles and blind boxes. The price is the same as popmart retail, so no scalping here.

Brand new hobby shop geared towards trading card games (CCG/TCG) - mainly Magic The Gathering,…read moreYu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon. Looks like they completely overhauled what used to be here. Very clean inside and organized. Tables are setup for games and there's a spot for snacks & drinks for players. Appears that they're still putting some final touches inside but it's open for business and the workers were friendly. Asked if I had any questions but I just took a walk around to see what they offered now. For sale were all sorts of booster packs, collections, play mats, etc. Even storage sleeves & boxes. I saw some loose Magic cards as well. The only thing in the shop that wasn't card-based was the wall of Funko Pop figures. Several shelves of regulars and exclusives. If you're into that and/or card games then this is the place for you!

The event wasn't for another two hours, and I was clearly just checking out the store for the first time. Zero customer service, zero friendliness, and absolutely no reason to ever spend money here -- good luck to them.

By…read moretabletop board games I mean things like pandemic, everdell, wingspan and arc nova, not monopoly, clue and sorry. This place has a decent selection of board games, but the organization scheme is somewhat of a disaster. I think basically the games were vaguely in alphabetical order and then a tornado went through them. So if you have a particular game in mind, you might be able to find it by looking in the general area of the letter it begins with. But seriously very few people come to a board game store with a particular game in mind. A better (and more common) scheme would be by complexity - light vs medium vs heavy strategy, with coop games on a separate shelf. We asked the staff for recommendations, and the person who helped us was less than helpful. You could tell from his tone that he wanted us to leave. He pulled games arbitrarily off of the shelf without much explanation of why he even recommended them. All board games are at market price. I guess we will keep going into the city for our board games.

My daughter was expecting Elsa for her daycare party and the character cancelled 2 HOURS before the party. We were going to be mobbed by a group of 20 very disappointed 4 yr old kids who were expecting Elsa, not to mention our daughter's disappointment! We had a balloon delivery from MNM that day and mentioned it to Omar. MNM rescued the day and provided their personally owned official Olaf costume for my husband to wear! We couldn't believe their kindness in that moment. They are genuinely nice people who really enjoy being a service to the community and are a wonderful example of what local business strive to be. I am so grateful to have MNM party store in our community! I recommend them hands down as the best service you'll ever get for any party needs and great toy selections. A++++++++

I bought a truck for my toddler (who loved the vehicle displays), and he already took apart some of the pieces when we got to the car. I had to sheepishly turn back to ask the front desk clerk to help put it together again, and he cheerily did so. They'll also buy your used Lego and Duplo pieces too (must be official Lego brand). And you can buy bulk Lego pieces by the pound. Highly recommended for any Lego aficionados, kids and adults alike!
