There was an event taking place, with many patrons playing a card-based strategy game toward the back. Good crowd and everyone seemed to be having fun. Retro game selection was impressive. Plenty to look through if that was your goal. However, we were hoping to pick up some newer games and simultaneously support a small, local, business. Selection of newer stuff was nominal, which was disheartening. Staff said hello, but never approached, never offered to help or strike up conversation. Prices were a bit higher than anticipated. However, I'd willingly pay it to support a local, non-chain, store. However, there wasn't much for me here when I visited.

I hadn't seen it, but on our way back, we stopped by, and it was like being transported to the 1980s in the best way possible. Digital Press Videogames had something for practically every video game system ever created, from Atari 2600 to ColecoVision cartridges to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One X and PlayStation 5. My kid, who is fascinated with vintage games, picked up a used GameBoy Color and a Pokemon game, while I bought an emulator to play all the classic games I enjoyed as a kid. The prices are more than reasonable, especially for the vintage stuff, and there were deals that were better than any chain store.
