When the work started, Armen was checking in with me almost daily and visited my house often to make sure that the work was going as planned. Additionally, he was very flexible with the materials that I wanted used and delivered the bathroom that I wanted. We love our new room and it is one of our favorite spaces in our entire house now. After the installers left, found that money was missing form my son's room and two of may other son's drawers from under his bed frame the clips were broken off during the removal of them to clear room for the carpet. I reported missing money to the owner who was very sorry and was looking into the situation. Later when I reported to him about the broken drawers which no longer sit nicely in the tracks...I have had complete radio silence from the business. I will never do business with this company again. Plus he seemed nice and provided a lot of good info upon meeting. We had him remodel our additon entertainment room. He took it down to the bones and recontructed the room - new tile floors, a tray ceiling, crown molding, installed surround sound speakers, new walls, painted, added recessed lighting, added a stair into the room, replaced the ceiling fan, and completely did a 360 on the room. It took just under a month to complete (it was during the Christmas holidays so it probably would have taken less time but we were in no rush and let him know that). His crew was nice and very trustworthy. We gave them access to our house each day and I never worried. We tried to get a guy to come look at some drywall plastering upstairs but he refused to go behind the owner's back and take on a private project. That is so respectful and made me trust these guys even more. We just discovered we have a dropped ceiling in our kitchen and having these guys come back to put in a matching tray ceiling. Plus he is going to quote our front porch. I would definitely recommend them. PS - you should probably have a clear idea of what you want already before you talk to him. He will throw some ideas but I was happy I knew exactly what I wanted prior! Oh and funny story - I tried to get the room back together before my husband came home. Upon moving the kegerator into the room, it fell off the step and into the wall - leaving a big dent. I called Thomas and he sent someone over the next day to fix it for me - for free! Phew - my heart dropped at that moment and I appreicate him being so easy going about it.

I initially reached out to this option as 1 of 3 others on Yelp and he responded immediately. I was initially impressed by the quickness and response time and the 1st communication we had was good. That was the only positive. So I thought I would give this smaller business an opportunity over others. After he either forgot or missed the 1st three appointments we had verbally agreed to in order to discuss the project, things got even worse. Ultimately, we agreed to a price to which I provided 1/2 of the amount up front. That was the only time he showed to the worksite to collect money. We had also then agreed to a basic schedule to start and then after a few weeks of repeated delays and inquiries to him due to multiple failures for never showing up when he committed to, his communications stopped entirely. He was obviously not going to complete my project as we agreed. There were also no responses (to this day) after my last three inquiries asking for my money back. I do say Yelp team has been very helpful throughout all of this and their support is great. As far as Evolution Contracting - learn from my dumb mistake and steer clear from them unless you like giving away money to scam. Please know I am forced to give a minimum of 1 Star rating for this review to post it, but know my true rating is far less than that.

Honestly, I had high hopes. Quintin was a great person to chat with and quickly came out to give me…read morean estimate. He set my mind at ease that he could fix the rotting wood in the side of my house for a good price. And that's where the good things end. First, scheduling. We scheduled a date. Quintin did NOT show up and then when I asked where he was he said he got caught up with something else and needed to reschedule. This happened almost every day for 2 weeks. Then he finally shows up late at night, on my anniversary, so my wife and I are on our way out the door. Then he calls us while we're out on our date and says he's finished and we HAVE to pay him RIGHT NOW or he can't leave! I haven't even seen the work. But I was terrified so I sent the money. And when I got home I actually cried. The work was shoddy and clearly half assed. He used materials I had purchased and didn't pay me back for them. He didn't remove the interior drywall when he repaired the wall, he just put the new boards in and pushed everything back. So now my wall is bulging. He did not add any water tight seals to the wall under the deck, so water is just running behind the board he nailed to the wall. He also didn't do half the work I requested and paid for! I requested that he redo the deck flashing and add water tight seals under everything and he did not! He said "it turns out I didn't need to", but I didn't get a refund for the work he "didn't need to do". I would also like to mention that he left all of the materials scattered around my yard. It took me days to clean up the mess he left behind. Quintin is a cheat and a slime ball. If the price seems too good to be true, it absolutely is. He is not planning on doing the work you ask for. If you have to go to him for work, I recommend just asking your neighbor or some random guy. You'll probably get better results. Edit: I almost forgot! Because he rescheduled so many times, Quintin offered to plow my driveway once for free. Well when it came time to come out and shovel after the insane storm we had this past winter, it took 3 days! I was trapped in my house with 3 feet of snow in my driveway! And when he finally came he made me shovel my car out so he could plow what was left! And even then, he only plowed half of my driveway! I wouldn't recommend hiring him to plow your driveway either.

The salesperson let my contractor know what I selected when he called them to give specific measurements. That determined how much tile needs to be purchased. Tile was ordered and it arrived in about a week to Dobkins from the manufacturer. Next step is for the contractor to pick up this tile and start work on my shower! I can't wait to have a new lovely tile shower!
