He kept saying that he was going to come fix it. He'd promise a time and simply not show up, he'd say he was on his way and never show up without a word, or he'd try to come after dark late at night. After 2 weeks of begging him to fix the leaky roof, we had to hire another roofer to do another tear off because it was so bad. We took him to small claims (he didn't show up twice-no surprise there) and we were awarded the full amount plus the cost of the interior repairs. We have yet to see the money owed to us.
