The contractor who ripped out the pre existing floor destroyed my moldings and I was told they would be replaced by the store manager. Then when it was time to install the floor they couldn't find a installer so they hired one that has never worked for the store. He installed a uneven floor with chips and two different colored floors. The wood floor is now higher than the porcelain,which they promised would not happen, there are multiple tiles uneven with tiles sticking up everywhere. They promised to redo the floor and said they have to find a contractor first which never happened. It's been months and they never even came back to reinstall the sink they removed. My wife is sick with terminal cancer and they left her with no sink. They keep coming up with excuses but never do anything about this botched job not up to industry standards. They even blamed the fact that my wife is sick so they hired the only contractor available to get it done for her. If that was the case they should of reviewed his work before ruining our home and disappearing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

I was told it would be done in a day and it ended up turning out to be 2 days. Which cost me some money at the kennel but luckily they were able to accommodate me. The floor itself looks absolutely beautiful. One minor area that we thought was dry didn't turn out as nice as the others. But all in all, I would highly recommend this procedure versus sanding. And it's a family-owned operation and everyone in the family was extremely polite and helpful. I have handed out of the flyers. They left me and let others see my floor. They look absolutely beautiful.

Tiftickjian did a great job cleaning them, the stains were still there but now barely visible, the others looked brighter. They looked so much better. I don't know how the price compares to other places but I do know I trusted them with these beautiful rugs to not harm them and I was correct. I will definitely take them again when they need cleaning.

The work was high quality once they finally finished. I moved to another 1,100 sq ft condo in July 2026 and tried with them again. I told Dick on the phone what happened last time and he said they'd take care of it. I wanted an estimate for wall to wall and large area rugs (almost wall to wall) that required minimal angles and of course binding the edges. The quote for the large area rugs was over 9K! He said the wall to wall wouldn't be much less expensive. While we were on the phone he mentioned that they were working on a lot of jobs for people who have flooded basements. He said he would call me back with a quote for the wall to wall but never did. I believe the 9K quote was total BS. He just gave me a ridiculously large number so I would decline to work with him. Bottom line is he just didn't want such a small job. if you don't have a large house or business I wouldn't bother with Tiftjickjian and Sons.

Serg took the time to work with me to find something that fit my preferences and my budget. He was very receptive to all the feedback I had and was very responsive and communicative. The floors look incredible. Serg has an attention to detail that is exceptional. The while job took a week and Serg set the timing up so we were minimally inconvenienced. The floors turned out beautiful and I really love the finish and it adds so much brightness to my upstairs. Why the 4-stars? ~~ Although the quote included closets, one closet I noticed wasn't done after they finished the first quote. After I pointed this out to them, they did it, but it only ended up with 2 coats instead of the 3 originally promised. It doesn't look as good in the closets with the 3 coats and overall the closets don't look as nice as the main floors. I also accidentally put a little scratch on the floor when moving some furniture back. I texted them to see if they would fix it and they quoted me a reasonable amount and said they would contact me, but haven't followed up with me yet. I guess they probably forgot and the otis might be on me to try them again. Either way, some small things and overall a wonderful job done! I'd definitely recommend them for your flooring installing/refinishing needs!

I was concerned if they would be able to stain the stairs to match the floors. The new floors were a darker stained white oak and the stairs were red oak. They surpassed expectations.
