Recently, we came back for a mini reunion and made Eberle a place where our party of 8 could relax, unwind, and reminisce of yesteryears while enjoying the beautiful views from the covered vineyard deck, and needless to say we absolutely had a blast! The tasting experience was still complimentary thanks to the blessed heart of Mr. Gary Eberle (thank you kind Sir), who also happened to grill up some delicious meats and smoked sausage that day (Santa Maria style), which was the perfect pairing to his wines. Special mention to Stephanie, who did an phenomenal job guiding us through the last cave tour of the day...and Mr. Eberle, she truly did your story justice (and then some!). WOW! We left there with plenty of purchases as well...too good to pass up! Oh and ladies, give their Rosé and Muscat Canelli a try...so refreshing! CHEERS and happy eating till next time...

I can not recommend this place and the family behind the lable enough. But be careful, once you taste these wines, you will want to buy all of them.

I figured we would be seated but the tasting occured standing up at the bar, which was fine. The tastings were generous, and customizable. My friend decided to do a white tasting, and I did the standard tasting. It was pretty hot, so about halfway through the tasting, we sat down at a table in the shade and walked up for the rest of our tastings but by that time, a large group had come through so the server was busier but still managed to remember where we were in the tasting. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. When we were done with our tastings, we walked around the property to look at the sculptures and the grounds. I did buy a bottle of wine and picked it up inside where they had other items for sale from local vendors, including our server who makes soap with her goat's milk.

My wife found Niche Wine Tours online a few weeks before we took a trip down the PCH knowing we wanted to spend a day in Paso exploring the wineries. We were so glad we did, as Katie couldn't have been a better host, guide and all around person. Before we came out she got to know our likes and wants, that in turn lead to her curating the perfect day to enjoy all Paso has to offer. Firstly, she picked us up and took us back to our hotel so we didn't have to fret over driving over the course of the day. The selection of wineries and the spot we went to for lunch were all top notch and unique (well thought out). On top of all of this, success in any business these days comes down to personas. Katie is knowledgeable, intelligent, well spoken, kind & chill. So easy to travel around with. You can tell she possesses that unique ability of understanding the people she is hosting in terms of knowing when to be front-and-center and when to fade back ... great instincts. She has a wonderful thing going, and we HIGHLY recommend using her to explore all of the great wineries Paso Robles has to offer. When we go back ... we will for sure. I was lucky enough to be a guest with Niche Wine Tours this past week and the experience was fantastic! Katie, the host, tailored the tour specifically to our tastes and preferences, she is extremely knowledgeable about the regions and the many winemakers in it, and her SUV is super comfortable. We made it to five different wineries, including a tour of the winery at Halter Ranch, had a fantastic picnic lunch, and she dropped us off in town after a day of tasting and learning so that we didn't have to call a taxi to take us to dinner. If you're looking for an intimate, comfortable, and hospitality-focused tour of Paso Robles, I would highly recommend Niche Wine Tours! read more

I was in Paso for a few days and hired Katie at Niche to tour me around and I am so glad that I did. She took me to great wineries that are off the beaten path where I got a much more intimate wine tasting experience. I was able to talk to wine makers at some of the wineries and also barrel sample which was a plus! Besides going to fun, unique and delicious wineries, Katie also helped me expand my wine knowledge. Whether you are a novice or expert, her guidance and expertise on all things wine was really helpful, especially when tasting so many wines each day. If you are in Paso, hire Niche! I reached out to Niche Wine Tours when I had a friend coming into town from Portland. Katie, the certified sommelier that provides the tours, spent some time in person and via email picking out the perfect wineries and tours for us to do based on our experience with the area and the types of wines we liked. Her vehicle was incredibly comfortable for the three of us on the tour to travel the Adelaida district of Paso Robles. My friend and I have never been to Paso Robles, dispite being from San Francisco! We are so happy we booked out private tour with Niche Wine Tours. Katie was fun and professional went above and beyond our expectations! We learned so much about wine and the Paso Robles wine region as a whole. During our trip to U.S. and California, we went to Paso Robles, because a lot of people told us about its great wines and nice wineries too. We arranged a wine tour with Katie and she did a perfect wine tour for us. My friend didn´t speak in english, so found for us a great winery witch the owner spoke in Spanish, plus, the wines there were fantastic! After that, we visited 2 wineries more, with very different wines and different philosophies too. We spent a great day and we learnt much about Paso Robles and its wines, thanks to Katie! We were meet with a great smile from Katie. She ushered us to a beautiful Land Rover for our first trip to a scheduled winery in total comfort. Katie knows her stuff on finding the best of the best wineries in our area. All of our appointments were on schedule and we enjoyed some of the best wine we have tasted in our area in many years. Went on a fabulous private wine tour with Katie, owner of Niche Wine Tours! She was very knowledgeable about wine and the Paso Robles wine region. She coordinated a tour that took me to taste at small producers I had never heard of where I got to meet and talk to both owners and winemakers. I had a wonderful time and learned an immense amount!
