I have been going here since I was a teen. But I did stop going for a while because I moved. The service is good and the staff is very friendly. They do not have high quality nail polish like OPI, China Glaze, Essie etc... But I like going there because they know me already and I always have the same guy do my nails. I know him on a personally basis and that is why I gave this place 4 star. The extra star was for him! He does a average job for an average price. The also do really good pedicures and even have a jet/massage chairs but that is for additional price. Not too sure how much but my full set, french tip, medium to long length with gel, usually runs anywhere from $23-$25. Very poor experience. I have been going there for a while. Today i went back in because my gel manicure started to lift and peel and its only been a week. I was attended by the young lady who has a problem with her eye, she was removing the old gel and it burned and she wasnt gentle at all! I chose glitter gel and she didnt get the corners and i told her ans she blew up speaking in her foreign language and purposely said she had to pinch my skin to get the edges and pinched my fingers with her long nails. I had come to this nail shop before and never had a problem,but this last visit I just made left me never wanting to come back here again !!!! First of all while I was getting a pedicure the health inspector (guy in charge of checking their licenses and sanitary conditions) walks in taking pictures when they saw him they all started to freak out! If you're not Doing anything wrong why freak out?? Then I overheard him tell the manager that they had trash inside of the container where they keep their clippers and nail files and basically everything, disgusting ! I also made the mistake of getting a refill here, first of all the guy who did my fill applied the polish all over my fingers not a clean application but since I was short on time I didn't make a big deal, I also noticed when he was adding more acrylic that powder he only applied it to the top half not the complete nail, again I didn't want to tell a professional how to do their job . Well when I got home i took a shower and while I was washing my hair one of the nails completely broke in half ! So I did what anyone would do and call the nail shop to my surprise the manager says well you have to pay because you only got a fill not a new set !! What !?! That is horrible customer service since I explained to her how ridiculous that sounded. She said it's only 3 dollars well I told her I was not going To go back and she hung up on me. Well I hate having broken nails and for the sake of matching the same red color I went back and when it came time to pay they charged me 4 dollars . Last night I was scratching my leg and another nail broke the exact same way I am really upset because I paid for this service which clearly the nail tech did a shitty Job by not applying the powder to the complete nail which he probably did because this place is just trying to be cheap! I am never going back here again and I would not recommend anyone else to come here either, especially not for a fill because then they try to blame the salon where you got the original set, so unprofessional just own up to your shit and recognize when a customer is not happy ! It's called customer service also be careful because they are using dirty tools and that's not my opinion that's the professionals opinion from the state . He even told them that on the pedicure chairs they're supposed to wait until they have a customer to put the plastic bag inside the Tub to prevent the spread of bacteria onto customers feet and did they listen ? No because when I went to get my nail fixed the next day they still were doing same shit! I'm glad I witnessed this because this paired with the bad service I got are making sure I never come back here again I even saw first hand when the so called manager was lying to the state health inspector about having dirty tools inside the containers saying that first it was a back up kit then saying the person who it belonged to quit and moved back to their country and forgot their kit?!? The health man was like wait you jUst said one minute ago it was your emergency back up kit ? I hope the nail salon reads this and makes some changes with their bullshit nail procedures !!!! When I mentioned I was unhappy I had one of the lady's raising her voice at me and when I thought the worse was over, the man I assume is the owner came out and started talking down to me and also raising his voice in front of my child. I like their many variety of colors but my gel nails get ruined too fast! The first time the gel polish started to lift (I didnt know that was possible), this time the acrylic itself cracked taking my nail with it if I try to pull or remove it off. Got nails done by the man in the back by the door I did not catch his name. First time he did my nails done he left them uneven and crooked (which he blamed on my fingers)the gel polish was also left with visible bubbles and how dare I ask him to fix them his time was too precious and he was in a horrible rush. I thought I would give this place another try and to my surprise I get the same exact man (I should have known better but I decided to give him another shot) the second time was not any better my nails were even worse then the first time my thumb was more visibly crooked along with rigid end and some thicker than others and when I asked him to fix he looked at his watch and proceed to yell "you come back tomorrow, LEAVE" I said ok if you don't want to fix it's not a problem.
