Nancy was exceptional at getting me rung up and asking Susan to work her magic. Both helped me get a cough suppressant as I have woken up coughing the last 2 weeks, not sleeping and not having the skip in my step as usual. They were efficient, caring and concerned and they are helping me on the road to more sleep and energy. Working in a middle school, the energy is needed!

I finished shopping, came back and they were ready. I tried to tip the guy, but he would not accept it, again very nice. The scallops smelled awesome. The only negative was when I went to check out, the male cashier informed me that he hated the smell of seafood, maybe not the best customer service for a guest who is paying $17.99 a pound for something he enjoys. Anyway, got home and had them as an appetizer while preparing dinner and they were perfectly breaded and seasoned and just delicious. I will be back soon!

However, I stopped in yesterday to check it out. The store is very open and the shelving units are very low. The aisles are short and are on both sides of the store. There is a deli, bakery, fresh produce, and the frozen section tucked away in the back of the store. Nothing about the store really wowed me, it's a grocery store, nothing fancy. The store seems a little outdated in my opinion and it's not as bright and vibrant as others. They had the brand "taste of inspirations" which is a brand that Giant, a grocery store back home has that I shop at. At least I can say that I've been inside.

If the seafood is good it isn't suppose to be potent, something the store manager of this location should pay attention to The previously frozen bakery items that need a store applied sell by sticker are usually expired or the sell by is cut off so you can't see the month, only the day. A lot of produce is either rotten or expired so I guess no one that works in that department knows how to rotate ( which also applies to the bakery) There's a lot more I can say but at least the donuts are good? The fresh made bread is good too when it isn't expired and the staff is friendly, obviously. Anyone that works retail knows faking politeness is a survival skill. In summary I can see why price chopper is going out of business. They need to raise their base pay and hire more people or else they'll go out of business in a few years.

Had gone earlier in the day to get the beef roast on sale for $3.99 per pound. No sign was up for them and no beef roasts out. Found a person who works in meat dept and he went and cut us two.
