My massage was going really well and then when it was over and I got dressed, I looked at the clock and the time showed one hour since the massage started. I left the room and told the masseuse that I had booked a 90 minute massage. She said that I had arrived 30 minutes late so she only gave me a 60 minute one. I corrected her that I had, in fact, arrived early for my massage. After a few minutes of confusion, she said "get back on the table, I'll work it out." I got undressed again and she finished the massage. But the interruption, having to get dressed, undressed and then redressed completely ruined the experience. When I mentioned this to the woman at the front desk, she barely said a word, and charged me for the 90 minutes (although the dressing/undressing lost about 10 minutes of time). I would NEVER go back to this place. I thought they handled this very unprofessionally (in fact not at all). The masseuse should know how long their customers are there for BEFORE they start, and OHANA should have compensated me for my lost time and not great experience.

She comes to the door again and asks me to come inside and sit down and to please wait. I asked how long very politely and she went off on me. Started yelling at me for no reason and telling me if you go to a doctor you need to wait,... guess what? you're not a doctor . Lady was incredibly rude for no reason. Upon looking at the website Yelp provides, I see very little information about the business. So where is what I found. This is a European style of massage which is safe to say will be nude without a draping cover. Granted you can get a towel if you ask for one, but remember, Europeans are less prudish about nudity and this is a European Massage. The cost of doing business at massage places has gone up with the cost rise of inflation. Massage use to be $70 to 100+ back in the early 90's. Then I noticed the price drop down to $55.00 an hour. The cost for doing business with Julia is $160 with tip rounding up to $200.00. The price isn't listed on the website, because Julia prefers to get to know her clients first. Julia might hate me for explaining this, but I feel one should know what the cost of business is up front. Then guest will know what their falling for. If you dare to do this, she'll be coming at you like a dark horse. It's the perfect storm. Julia was all business when I talked to her on the phone. It also gave me the impression she was with a client. I believe she is a one woman show and she works alone. I can appreciate that, because I work alone too. so there isn't 4 hands massage or body scrub/shampoo according to Julia. Nevertheless, I hope to make an appointment with Julia when my work schedule goes back to normal. I will then be able to write a review on the masssge experience.
