What an absolute sweetheart!…read more If you're looking for Thai massage in a quiet, stress-free environment...look no further. It's been found. Kala is professional, efficient, and made me feel 100% comfortable. You need to specify the areas and amount of pressure, and she's willing to change course during the service if it's too much. The only caveat is the schedule booking further out because it's her business. Which people will simply have to deal with, because it is what it is. She's not an octopus. She doesn't morph into multiple Kala's. I will say that if you're unfamiliar with Thai massage, it can be rather firm. I took a hot shower and slept like a baby after getting home. Thanks again Kala!

Kala is very nice, calm, professional, and have strong hands. The massage was fantastic. Deep tissue, fought through all the stressful lumps, felt like dropped 10lbs off of my shoulders afterwards. Price was reasonable. Credit card is accepted. I booked 2 more massages right after, since her sessions get booked fairly fast. Highly recommend by IG@WineDinenVacay

Being a holiday, I wasn't sure if I would be able to book an appointment for a massage in the area. I tried a few spas, but they were indeed closed or booked solid. I contacted Diane and she was extremely accommodating and flexible with her time. As other reviewers have noted, her studio is in the basement of her house and has a very warm, welcoming vibe. It is also very quiet and the privacy factor allowed me to relax much faster than in a busy spa. The massage felt like a blend of many techniques. The intensity of the pressure fluctuated to match the needs of different areas of my body and she performed stretches on my legs, which would have been worth the money alone. It's a cliché, but I feel like a new man after leaving there. She offered me some helpful feedback after the massage and suggested some exercises and stretches to incorporate into my daily life. All in all, a great experience, and I look forward to another visit!

It was a great massage and I'd come back. The only down side is that the walls are thin, so you can hear the loud reggaeton from the barber next door. The short story is that Judy Rose is awesome and you will be so glad you treated yourself to Trager…read moreTransformations. I've been getting Trager sessions from Judy Rose for eight years, and there are many reasons I keep coming back. I've gotten a lot of massage, but after my first session with Judy Rose, I felt like I never had to get another massage. Trager meets all the massage needs and more. I always leave feeling extremely relaxed and at ease. She took care of my whiplash after a car accident (totally gone, never to return), stubborn shoulder pain and injury, and various aches and injuries over the years. I see lots of spa reviews on Yelp. Judy Rose offers so much more than a trip to the spa. She really gets to know you and what your body is going through, so she can work from that knowledge to give you so much more than a trip to the spa ever can. Like relaxing to a deep place in yourself, experiencing your body in a new way, learning about old patterns, finding new ways of being in your body, healing. She may suggest you walk around the block before driving away, just so you can come back to Earth. It's a good idea, and makes our roads safer. What is Trager? It resembles massage because you are on the massage table and someone is working on your body. It departs from massage there, and begins to look more like a mix of passive dance, yoga, and silliness; movements large and tiny that completely feel good, rewire your brain, bring new healing patterns into the body. It's hard to explain - you just have to experience it. Judy Rose also spends time with you before and/or after the table work to give you ideas for movements you can take home to keep the process going. Judy Rose has a quiet lovely home office, a peaceful setting. Judy Rose is not just about helping you feel fine while you are with her, but about finding ways for you to be in your body in a happier way, and to take that home for the long term.

She came highly recommended when I was looking for a good bodyworker/ massage therapist who practices Trager, a gentle technique that leaves tense old me feeling like a total rag doll. (I've told her she needs to provide car service home for her clients!) In the course of getting chilled out on her table, Judy managed a miracle - a total transformation of the 20 year-old effects of a mastectomy and surgical implant that had tightened my neck, chest and back muscles. I had been told by my doctor that this was just natural so I was living with it. What a great relief and hope for other aches and pains. So now I've got her working on my hip, which has begun to hurt a little when I walk and play tennis. I've decided to be "greedy" for more and have her do everything she can to keep my body aligned and as good as it can be. So when I leave my appointment, I feel totally relaxed AND I've reversed 60 years of aging a bit more. It's wonderful massage and physical therapy at the same time. I highly recommend her work.

The waiting room in the front doesn't give you an idea how big this place is but once you head to your table you'll see how large the facility is. The biggest downside to this place is it's all one big open room that's separated by drapes. They have ambient music playing but this setup basically forces you to whisper as you walk to the table and during the massage. Out of respect to others getting their massage I didn't say anything during my session. I also didn't hear anyone else talking. While it's nice to sit in silence, it's just a strange setup in my opinion. As far the massage goes it was wonderful. The beds are clean and the floors even have that fake bearskin rug so you don't touch anything cold. The tables are heated which is a major plus and when you lay down they drape you in a weighted blanket. The whole thing is super cozy. My masseuse was receptive to the strength level I requested and really worked my hamstrings. The scalp oil was nice but I probably wouldn't repeat as it forces you to rush home to shower immediately after. Once we left I started to get promotional deals in my email which is cool. I''ll definitely be back once I have more disposable income.
