I have been going to "Nice Cleaners" for awhile now. It is owned by a mother and daughter. The daughter is very nice the mother is a bit rude but this takes the cake. I dropped off clothes last week. I had a jacket that she said the buttons might come off in their machine. I said I have taken it to cleaners before it should not be a problem. Well when I went to pick the jacket up at the end of last week one of the buttons was completely broken. She said that she could take the buttons off the pocket and sew one of those back on and save one for if I lose it later. I said OK as long as I don't have to pay for the sewing. She started to yell at me about it. I told you something could happen. I said I was upset that it was ruined and that I should not have to pay. Then she mentioned that I had a blouse there that she is still working on the stain I said I don't know what blouse you are talking about. She then yelled at me about that. That day I decided I would switch dry cleaners and pick up my things this week and be done. Well I went in today to pick up my dry-cleaning. The so called blouse that she said was mine was in the bag with my dry cleaning and she was charging me for it. I pulled it out of the bag and said this is not mine. She yelled at me in front of another costumer and insisted that it was my blouse. I said that I know my clothes and what is in my closet and it is not mine. I will not pay for this blouse. I also said that the costumer is always right and it is not OK to yell at them. I said I already switched cleaners I just want to pay for what is mine and be done with you. It is without a doubt the best business I have ever had the pleasure of frequenting. The staff are amazingly nice and caring. They always get my clothes cleaned and pressed quickly and without any problems. I have also utilized the alteration services and was again blown away with the amazing work at such a reasonable price. The price is unbelievably cheap compared to everyone else i have been. My only regret is that I did not find this place sooner! I've been coming here for more than 10 years. Started with a large bin full of rugby jerseys back in 2005 I needed help mending and they did not disappoint and the jerseys came out like new! They are by far the only cleaners in the Bay Area I trust with my laundry. Especially some expensive cashmere sweaters that needed to be mended. They family that owns this business are by far the sweetest people on Earth!! And I love sending friends/family there and hearing them just gush at how great they are. After doing a bit of Yelp research in this area, I found that Nice Cleaners is where you should do your dry cleaning instead of their dry cleaning competition across the street near Sprouts Farmers Market. This family owned business has competitive prices and seems like friendly people. They charge $5.50 for suit jacket which is at least a couple bucks cheaper than across the street. I'll be continuing to bring my business clothes for dry cleaning here until they give me a reason not to as long as I live in the San Jose area. read more

What an incredible small business run by a fantastic mother and daughter duo. 2 years ago, I took a chance on Nice Cleaners for a significant jobs. One being, dress alternations for my niece's Flower Girl dress and my mom's Mother of the Bride dress. The owner did an impecable job on the length and new sizes of the dresses. My niece, mom and I were incredibly happy. This past week, I once again trusted Nice Cleaners with my 30 year old baptism gown. I took it in to be dry cleaned in time for my daughter's baptism and she did it in a timely manner and at a decent price. For a 3 piece silk gown it only cost me $11 and it turned out beautiful and like new. They go above and beyond to make customers feel appreciated. An example was when I picked up a gown. I did not have cash because I neglected to see a sign that stated "Cash only if less than $15" by the register. I offered to pay $15 despite my balance only being $11. The owner's daughter was nice enough to swipe my debit card for the $11 without any fuss. They have always been super nice and deliver their services on time and in a professional manner. read more

This is really the best dry cleaning place I have gone to in the nearly 20 years I have lived in in the area--I literally tried every dry cleaner in Los Gatos where we live and no one comes close to this place for service, quality and price--unfortunately it not in Los Gatos and is more than 15 minutes from my house but it is totally worth the drive. And as others said, they are called Nice Cleaners for a reason--the ladies that own this place are super nice. They will do extra things as well (e.g. replace zipper), etc. read more

I only tried this once, so it is not a consistent experience. Dropped my dress for a dry clean and they said it would be ready within a day or two. That is FAST. But I didn't experience anything spectacular or anything else. I think the price is about average if not slightly more. But they seem to be doing everything themselves there. read more
