I LOVE this place! A friend recommended it to me after I spoke of a terrible experience I had had at Moon's Cleaners across the street. I immediately took him at his word, dropped off my clothes at Nice Cleaners and haven't looked back. I have been using them for the past 5 months, they are reasonably priced...much less than Moon's Cleaners and my clothes look just as great! The owners are soooooooooooooooo NICE and remember your name when you walk in, greet you with a smile and make you feel like the most important person on the planet when you are there! I was looking for a dry cleaner that could do simple alterations near my house, and read the Yelp reviews for Nice Cleaners and thought I would give them a try. I brought a formal dress to be hemmed and steamed, a 3 piece suit to be cleaned and a men's shirt to be laundered. The service and turn around time was fine. I have absolutely no complaints about the quality of the alterations or of the cleaning and I would recommend Nice Cleaners and will probably use them again. The only reason that I have not left 5 stars was due to the cost. The hemming of the dress was $50, plus an additional $15 to steam the dress. I understand that the dress had two layers of lining, but I felt that $65 to hem and steam the dress was a little bit high. However, I was willing to pay it at the time rather than trying to find another place for alterations on short notice, as I needed the dress within a few days. Aside from that one thing, I was very happy with the quality of the service, and would recommend Nice Cleaners. read more

Nice Cleaners is the best! Even after only being here a handful of times, the ladies remember my name every time I come in, and just how much starch I like on my shirts. When I'm frustrated and grumpy after an hour and a half commute, my favorite thing is to hear the owners say "Hi James!" when I walk in. I had hardly sought out dry cleaning services before this year, but recently began a job that required more business style clothing. I had business slacks and a blazer that needed cleaning before an important interview. Before coming to Nice Cleaners, I was taking a look at other shirts that potentially needed dry cleaning in order to make a full trip of it. As I was scanning my closet, I noticed three shirts (silk, satin, and cotton)that I hadn't worn in a while because they had been ruined by oil stains that had come from using a natural deodorant product (Native deodorant - I have a whole other rant for that product but that's not what this review is going to include). This deodorant was especially oily and had stained my shirt so far beyond any cleaning that I could do. I tried several different methods, cleaning agents, powders, etc and nothing worked. I absolutely loved these shirts and was hopeful that this dry cleaning service would be able to remove the stains that I had not been able to. I came in on a Friday afternoon and was able to pick up my five items by early Monday morning. Not only was the service fast and friendly, but every single one of the stains were removed from my shirts!!. Good as new; I was absolutely impressed by the quality of service that Nice Cleaners provided. 5 items and stain removal for only $25. Nice Cleaners is the only dry cleaning service I will go to! I have been visiting Nice Cleaners for about 5 years now and you could not wish to meet nicer people. I am always greeted by name and with a smile. The cleaning is excellent and great value. My wife had her wedding dressed cleaned and preserved and was super happy with the result. The on-site alterations are very good. I switched from Moon's Cleaners across the street and I couldn't be happier. Moon's Cleaners is pretty quick, but I've had them stain my clothes in the past. I had to come back multiple times until they were able to remove it. Don't let that bright orange van with the smiling guy on the side fool you. Moon's Cleaners employees are generally an unhappy group of people. Nice cleaners has tremendous customer service. The kind that only a small business can provide. The prices are great. Nice cleaners removes stains and doesn't create them! The alterations and repairs are a fantastic price and done extremely well. This is the kind of business that is run with great deal of care. For that reason I would advise to give a couple extra days for the dry cleaning here. The tradeoff is well worth it. :) read more

Tried them for the first time this week. No complaints. The prices are amazing. 15 shirts and pair of pants for something like $16! My only complaint is that they don't open until 9am. I went to get my shirts before work the other day and I couldn't believe a dry cleaner could open that late. But with the price, I think I'll learn to plan better. read more

The owner instead of seeing an opportunity to make a few pennies off of hemming them 1/2", said to me, that the pants would shrink in their first wash, to just my desired length. I know nothing of such things, I'm a dullard when it comes to proper care of garments. That is what professionals are for and the more enlightened. It was a disaster, which required me paying for drying cleaning when they gave the belt to my buttonless coat to another customer!!! So when I needed some alterations done, I was overjoyed to see Nice Cleaners offers alteration services and dry cleaning. As long as I can stay in this area, I will exclusively be using them for both!!! They offer quick and high quality alteration services. At an extremely reasonable cost. I was amazed at the volume of work they manage. As I walked in with 4 pairs of jeans and there were piles of alteration work. It only took about a week for mine to turnaround. Happened upon this place when I was at the post office. A little hidden as the address says Branham, but really is on Lizzie (cross street). Very quiet place with gracious owners. My dress is quite old and made of velvet, so I thought it would have been expensive to mend a tear on the back seem and then dry clean. Not at all! Only $5 for the repair and $15 for the cleaning, done only in a few days. The dress had a ribbon laced up the front, which they took off for the cleaning. It was hung on the hangar, but I wish they had put it back on the dress. Not worth reducing a star, as that is so minor. Very happy with this find! read more

I recently moved to the area from another part of San Jose and need a new cleaners. I found Nice cleaners on Yelp, and decided to give them a shot. Wow, so glad I did. Nice Cleaners is very reasonably priced and does an amazing job on the task at hand... cleaning clothes. They do not staple anything through your garments. I mostly get dress shirts cleaned and they put the tag through one of the button holes at the bottom. Zero damage to the shirt. They do not write on the inside of the shirt in black sharpie like some of the other cleaners in the area. All of the garments are always pressed properly, and they DO NOT smell like cleaning solution. One time a pair of my suit pants had been giving a crease down the middle of the pants. It was my fault for not mentioning my preference when I brought them in. When I went to pick them up I noticed it. They repressed my pants at no charge. This is the type of cleaners that Nice is. They make sure the customer is satisfied. It is a family owned and operated business. The entire family is ALWAYS friendly, they even greet you by name!
