The food I got from here was pretty underwhelming. Apparently, it is a small shop that recently opened, so maybe they are still working out the issues. I had a very simple item, a plain cheese calzone. Firstly, just the visual appearance was a bit off. It seemed to be cooked pretty decently, but it was almost completely flat, which is weird for calzones. The bread to cheese ratio was also way off, with it being primarily bread. They included no ricotta in the calzone. This is weird, because their website says, "All calzones come with ricotta, provolone & mozzarella cheese, & sauce on the side." No garlic on top, no butter topping, nothing like that. It tasted like a medicore pizza with no flavor with an extra piece of bread on top of it. They did give a lot of sauce, but it wasn't the highest quality either. Cold sauce, no chunks of tomato. But, at least the portion was there. Portion for the calzone itself was meh. Also, the bread for the calzone was oddly sweet, which threw me off even more. All in all, I think they still have some work to do. Maybe they the pizza is better or this was just an off day, but a calzone with sweet bread, no ricotta, no seasoning, and being completely flat is very underwhelming. read more

Absolutely terrible pizza joint, bought a X-Large pizza with 12 PC hot wings. Pizza is extremely thin like it's mainly just all breading and the wings barely have any meat on them, definitely don't recommend this pizza joint unless you want pizza bread more or less. Plus they didn't even cut the pie, when you order a pie. The pie should be cut and you shouldn't have to cut it yourself and there was barely any sauce on the pie at all. All you can taste is to much bread, a bunch of cheese, very little sauce, not so good tasting pepperonis and it tasted absolutely horrific, definitely will take my business elsewhere read more

Amazing spot for pizza, wings, and appetizers The Meat Lovers Pizza was loaded and full of flavor with the perfect crust. The Honey BBQ Wings were crispy, juicy, and coated in a delicious sweet and tangy sauce. Mozzarella sticks were golden and gooey a great start to the meal. Staying at the Fairfield Inn on Neville Island and had to have pizza. Googled nearby pizza places. Decided to take a chance. For 13 bucks I got a great pizza. It was huge and just plain hit the spot. The person taking the order said it would take 30 minutes. I figured it would probably be a lot longer. Got here in 31 minutes. Visiting from Phoenix. You just don't get good small pizza joint pizzas there. They should probably promote this a bit more. read more

When I first moved here, It was the end of December, I had the flu and bronchitis, and working, plus trying to get an apartment set up in the midst of it all. Needless to say, I did take advantage of delivery the first couple of weeks here. Nicco's, by far, is my favorite place to order out from. Granted, I don't order delivery that often now, but when I'm in the mood for Italian and want to hunker down at home to a good movie, Nicco's is the place I call. Absolutely disgusting - examples of filth include lack of soap in the bathroom (where food service employees work!), dust everywhere, and a layer of build-up under the table when we shifted it a few feet. Nothing looks like it has been cleaned since the 90's, same goes for the decor. The pizza was also poor quality, and when I tried to order just a slice, they directed me next door to the convenience store where it is sold by the slice. It's obvious that the people here put no effort into running their business... when we were there, they were sitting in the back waiting around when they could have been taking steps to clean and do something about their filthy establishment. read more

Ordered delivery tonight, first time. I ordered the gyro platter with onion rings. Quoted delivery time was 30 minutes. 21 minutes later my doorbell rang. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The onion rings absolutely rocked. The breeding was a little sweet and was the perfect counterpoint to the onion. The gyro had good veggies and sauce. The pita was good. read more

We order lunch from here every once in a while, which is nice since they deliver--and pretty quickly too! I got the lunch special steak hoagie and it was a pretty good deal. We love niccos! We use to go to Pizza Hut all the time because we tried so many pizza places and they were terrible, then we found niccos! Great meat lovers and cheese bread is amazing! We've tried about every Italian establishment in the Coraopolis/Moon area and Nicco's has the best of every category. The pizza, hoagies, salads, and pasta dishes are excellent.
