The men's section to the right had winter jackets, shorts, pants, and tshirts. The sizing seemed to be more of the small and x-large. Most items were 40% off but there were some that were 60% off and clearance was 75%. I was happy to get some decent prices and good service.

Totally disappointing tent and customer service experience! Stay well away!…read more The truck-tent arrived a day before our camping trip (that's our bad, we should have ordered in more time), and the packaging was already damaged on the outside. Boxes on the inside were covered in what appeared to be a child's crayon scribbles, giving clear indication that we had paid almost $400 for a previously returned product rather than something new as advertised. Once we drove 8 hours away to our camp site and opened up the contents of the boxes, several tent poles were rusty and one of the poles actually showed signs it was about to split. The damaged pole would not fit into the designated holes, probably the reason for the previous return. Assembly was very frustrating due to this, and the pole eventually snapped in half. We had to just make do with the tent half assembled! To make matters worse, that night it rained and the tent leaked, allowing water into the space behind our heads. So much for it being "waterproof"! The final insult was customer service. After receiving what was clearly a defective product, we were told that they would not accept a return as the box had been opened. How exactly is a customer supposed to discover rusty, broke, ill-fitting poles and a leaking tent without opening the box and attempting to use the tent? This policy is less like customer service and more like a way to avoid responsibility for defective merchandise. I even tried to take the matter up with the BBB, and the response from Napier Outdoors was just that it was policy. No apology, no attempt to make things right - even with photos for evidence! Between damaged packaging, poor-quality materials, leaking tent and unhelpful customer service, this has been one of the worst product purchases I've made. Save yourself the frustration, and terrible camping experience, and spend your money elsewhere!

An axe I ordered was delayed, to no fault of these guys; but instead of just sending a form email with new expected delivery dates they contacted me and offered several options on how I may have liked to move forward. I missed the first email (junk mail bin), but they also left a voicemail looking to get in touch over my order. I emailed them back and they sent along some sharpening oil, etc with my order when it did arrive. I've gotta say, this is not what I expected as an online, faceless customer. But besides being delighted over my new axe, I'm happy that they valued my business enough to personally reach out and make sure that the resolution over the shipping delays was tailored to me. I've been itching to check out this store, and I'm really not sure why I never ventured in here sooner. Maybe it just wasn't the right time. This past year my urge to hike has kicked into overdrive and lately I've been all about outdoor activities - so going in here not only cured some boredom, but got me excited for the warmer months and getting back out on the trails. The shop shares a building with another business. Once you go up the steps and into the building, the shop is straight back (and pretty hard to miss with the signs!) This shop is pretty large, with everything and anything to fill your outdoor needs. Tons of apparel with popular outdoor brands like Carhartt, hiking boots, and other useful gear for camping and hiking. You can get snow shoes and chains here for your winter hikes, and there's even some gear for your dog! I only came in here for the socks but I also left with these cool fake "skipping stone" dog toys, and a double sided spoon/fork. Total score! Looking forward to returning in the summer to fulfill more of my hiking needs. P.S. I love my socks. They're stylish and keep my feet warm!

I must have written that review way before I gave myself enough time to decide if I liked the socks or not, but here I am 4 years later and I now EXCLUSIVELY WEAR DARN TOUGH SOCKS. Thank you, Aurora Outfitters, for turning me onto these wonderful socks. Also thank you, past tense me for clairvoyantly deciding to purchase said socks and change my life forever.
