Fourth ramen place I tried in Rockville Centre area and it was the best so far! I love spicy, and the usual "spicy" doesn't cut it. I got the spicy miso ramen and it delivered! The flavor was deep, and the noodles were the type I liked, thin and firm! The takoyaki was really good too, also one of the best I've had. If you're in the area, give them a try! This place is a gem- great addition to Lynbrook and the area in general as there are not a lot of ramen options nearby. I've been to several famous ramen places in NYC and to others on LI and this was the best ramen experience I've had- taste, selection, atmosphere, and servers were all top notch. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, quiet and has nice mood lighting. I definitely recommend adding the seasoned boiled egg to any ramen dish and trying kale noodles instead of or in addition to traditional (I tried both). Also, if you like spicy, the homemade spicy paste is great. Vegetarian and vegan options available. Servers were very attentive and quickly remedied one minor mistake, going above and beyond to fix. As my friend and I slurped up every last bit, we kept raving to each other about how good our meals were, and we both walked out with takeout for our partners. It was just that good. read more

City quality ramen in Long Island. I've tried every ramen option they had since they've had their soft opening and i've got to say the Tan Tan and Tonkotsu are the best imo. While I wanted to love this I didn't. Two Ramen's and 1 Diet Coke with the tip was $50 bucks. That's a lot for lunch. The service was fine, but they had no rice! Really a Japanese Rest with no rice, so one of us that wanted a rice bowl was out of luck. The presentation was good, some parts of my dish were cold. I was so excited to try this new ramen spot in Lynbrook. I just wanted something small to try, so I ordered the chicken karaage to go. There is an open kitchen so you can see the cooks. I was watching the woman who was preparing my chicken; she was wearing black gloves, and put the raw chicken in the deep fryer. She rinsed her glove with NO SOAP and then took my cooked chicken out of the fryer with the same gloves. So unsanitary! I understand that they are a new restaurant, but this is no excuse. I've eaten at Ni Ramen for a total of three times now and I'm confident to say they have the best ramen on Long Island. I tend to go to Queens or Manhattan for quality ramen but this spot is a perfect spot if i don't want to make the long commute. Prices: A lot of people have mentioned their prices are more on the expensive side of ramen, but I personally think they're reasonable, especially with trying to maintain a small business during times of crazy inflation. They have similar prices to other quality ramen spots in NYC, which didn't seem too outrageous to me. Their prices also match with their big portions of ramen. At other places, I'd usually have to order extra noodles, but their bowls are actually the perfect amount. I was full after each time I've dined with them. Quality: I always order their shoyu ramen which consists of chicken broth, wavy noodles, pork chashu, scallion, bamboo shoots, and soft boiled egg. Broth- Their broth was so rich in flavor. You can definitely taste the balance with the soy sauce and chicken flavor. Nothing overpowers the other. It wasn't too salty for me, but I'm sure if you asked for less salt, they'd definitely accommodate! Noodles- This bowl comes with wavy noodles and they're always the perfect amount of firmness! They're never too soggy and they never have that weird starchy sticky stuff on them. They also tasted super fresh! Pork- The pork never misses! It's always so tender and soft and kind of melts in your mouth. I've been to 8 Ramen in Rockville Centre and their pork is hard and chewy compared to Ni Ramens. It really depends on your preference of texture. Boiled Egg- The perfect yolk along with the seasoned egg. The egg has a more "sweet" taste compared to the rest of the bowl but it compliments the bowl and ties everything together. Staff: Super friendly and always attentive. Super respectful and helpful. I've never had a rude waiter here at all. Interior: Super instagrammable spot! The interior has cute little figurines, amazing lighting fixtures, and nice decorations. Some may say the layout is a little strange aight the kitchen there once you walk in, but that is uncontrollable on the restaurant's end. They worked with what they had, and they did pretty great! Overall, Id give this place more than 5 stars if I could. They put alot of time and effort into their food. It brings more diverse options into the neighborhood. my boyfriend and I decided to try this new spot since it just opened near his house. the reason I was against it was because I have tried ramen before and never liked it before. I had tried ramen in NYC, San Francisco, Long Island and never liked them UNTIL I tried Ni Ramen. My boyfriend ordered the Tan Tan Ramen and I ordered the Chicken Katsudon. Once I tried my boyfriends ramen I was amazed at how I actually liked the flavor and it was good. The chicken katsudon was also really good, well cooked and good flavors. Although was a chef with knowledge of ramen for several months after opening, When I went there a month ago, it was like a different chef and the noodles were boiled in a completely different way. Heard about this place from a friend and frankly was not expecting much. Well, I was wrong. The wife and I shared an order of Japanese curry withe crispy fried pork cutlet. The curry sauce was out of this world, the pork cutlet with a satisfying crunch with rice and an egg delicately blanketing the rice. I had the Shoyu Ramen. the noodles were on point not over or under done, but what separates this from mediocrity is the broth. The flavor is delicate and well balanced and the mouth feel is silky, somewhere between water and pudding. My wife had the Spicy Miso Ramen and again the broth was a fiery red and just enough heat to tingle your tastebuds but not hot enough to cause pain or watery eyes. Green tea mochi finished our meal. This was a great place, almost really great. I would suggest they redesign their apps menu. No flavor and very common crap. The real star was the main course, the ramen bowl. Very tasty and nicely done. Then there was dessert. They should revamp the dessert as well. Nothing on the dessert menu looked unique and theirs I got lacked taste. It was super hard green tea ice cream that was stone hard. Great ramen place but do something about the apps menu and desserts.
