Dr.Hage was patient, friendly, and always happy to answer any questions I had. Even when I called into the office to ask silly questions after my appointment, the staff was happy to help. During my second pregnancy I refused to see anyone else. There was one nurse who guilted me about my weight gain but Dr. Hage and the others continued the same amazing level of care. When we found out that I had breast cancer during my second pregnancy, not only was Dr. Hage there for me and my baby, but he recommended an amazing oncologist and made sure I had the best care possible through the process. Cancer made things scary but Dr. Hage was honest without false assurance in a way that helped to put me at ease. After I gave birth, his PA would call me every 3-6 months to see how my cancer treatment was going. She didn't have to do that, but they cared enough that they wanted to know I was okay. Those are the kind of people I want around me when I'm giving birth. I will always come back here when it's time and cannot recommend them enough.

This clinic has been one of the most frustrating healthcare experiences I've had as a parent…read more At our first visit, they did not have the vaccines available. The doctor ordered blood work on my 11-year-old. When I asked if there was a reason, the answer was no--just because of her age. My daughter is a healthy athlete, and this felt unnecessary. At the second visit, when the vaccines were finally in, I was pressured to agree to additional shots that weren't required, and treated rudely when I refused. My daughter, who is already fearful of shots, was quietly crying. Instead of offering comfort, the nurse spoke to her harshly, told her to stop, and warned that if she moved it would hurt. This only frightened her more, and afterward the shots were painful for days. Experiences like this make children lose trust in doctors. Even worse, the vaccines were not entered properly in the state system. After the second visit, the school nurse checked twice--first finding nothing entered, then later finding the records locked. She explained only the clinic could lock or unlock them. I had to go in person just to get a printed copy. It felt like unnecessary hoops to jump through, made worse by staff who were sharp and unhelpful. The only helpful person in the office was the front receptionist--kudos to her for finally getting us the printed records. My daughter is not a paycheck or a pincushion. We will not be returning, and I would not recommend this office.

None of their staff listens to their patient's and they will hold your medications hostage if you don't visit at least 2 times per year. A nurse at their Yucaipa office told me that if I needed my meds in a hurry, that I could visit the urgent care or make an appointment, which was a month out. I did that and not only was I ignored by the entire staff, but that same nurse ignored my call and never called me back. What is a person supposed to do when they're out of their meds? I have had back to back UTI's over the last 5 years and they're just now putting me on an antibiotic that works and they have continuously lied about my UTI results. Their response is always "lose some weight". I tried going to another urgent care closer to my house and they wouldn't take me because they have a contract where they will only accept patients after hours. At this point I have enough evidence to report them to the medical board and I intend on doing it.

The staff never returns calls/faxes to the pharmacy when I am trying to get his food and medication. They never submit the proper paperwork to insurance without me having to call a million times. The latest two events just happened with in the past 3 weeks. 1st, my sons acid reflux medication was no longer available so the pharmacy and I both called the doctors office for a different medication. We did not hear back from them at all. I left several messages as did the pharmacy. I finally found a pharmacy that had one box of his medication in stock and had to drive over an hour to pick it up. second, I called in my sons formula a week before he was due to run out.. The pharmacy sent the doctor a request to authorize the refill. 10 days later, we still dont have autorization. The office sat on it for 8 days before even submitting it to insurance for approval. I call and call and all I get is bad treatment. The do not care about my 6 month old or his needs. Needless to say, I have filed a request for a change of pediatricians with my insurance company. What ever you do, do not take your kids to this office if they have any special needs. You will be spending countless hours trying to do their job for them.
