Dr. Walter Jones III is my primary and I honestly wish I could give this place zero stars. Every experience I've had in this office has been horrible. None of their staff listens to their patient's and they will hold your medications hostage if you don't visit at least 2 times per year. A nurse at their Yucaipa office told me that if I needed my meds in a hurry, that I could visit the urgent care or make an appointment, which was a month out. I did that and not only was I ignored by the entire staff, but that same nurse ignored my call and never called me back. What is a person supposed to do when they're out of their meds? I have had back to back UTI's over the last 5 years and they're just now putting me on an antibiotic that works and they have continuously lied about my UTI results. Their response is always "lose some weight". I tried going to another urgent care closer to my house and they wouldn't take me because they have a contract where they will only accept patients after hours. At this point I have enough evidence to report them to the medical board and I intend on doing it. read more

Dr. Johnson has been treating my internal medicine problems for a couple of years now. I find him and his staff to be very professional. They are timely on seeing me. I've never seen more than one person other than me in the waiting room. The only issue I have had is some of the workers' compensation paperwork that the doctor has to do. Mostly relating to my prescriptions. But, we always get it worked out. read more

He does not listen to patients needs. He does not like to follow through once he gives a Dx. Uncaring.

Dr. Jones is not thorough with his tests and analysis. Often times I have come prepared with more information after seeking other opinions and further research. I wish he would listen to concerns of his patient and follow up. He is also OOO quite a bit and I had to seek help from a stand in doctor. They run behind schedule often by at least 20 min. One time I waited 50 minutes only after I pressed them for an update. Pretty unprofessional if you're scheduling an appointment. read more

Dr. Jones is one cool physician. He's been my primary doctor now for over 15 years, and even though after making my latest appointment I had to wait THREE MONTHS to see him again, it was well worth the wait. He is the busiest physician I know, but extremely knowledgeable and concerned about each of his numerous patients. And, he is not a five-minute man. He always listens carefully to what a patient reports, patiently answers all questions, and will spend whatever time is needed with a patient. Even so, the wait is usually not very long when you have a precious appointment to see him. And he has a waiting list to quickly add a patient in need whenever a cancellation occurs. Because I didn't have a pressing need to see him this time, I just waited for my appointment date. Besides, Dr. Jones runs an urgent care clinic in the same modern facility but in separate offices, where his patients can get instant help from one of two Physician Assistants who are very capable and good at what they do. Very knowledgeable, experienced, and dedicated (e.g., working on the day after Thanksgiving when just about every other medical office in the building was closed for the holiday weekend), Dr. Jones seems to quickly and accurately diagnose any medical problem with which he is confronted. Always smiling and in good cheer, but professional, too, he exudes confidence, and his patients can take stock in his diagnoses and trust his skills whenever he does some hands-on treatment. Of course it is always nice to leave his office with a declaration of a clean bill of health following a patient-friendly low blood pressure reading, as I just did. read more

Dr Jones is professional and knowledgeable. BUT, one particular front office staff member is extremely rude every time I visit. And she's that way to others also. She's an African-American heavy set gal. Its a shame he allows someone with this attitude to talk to people the way she does. read more

Went to the urgent care in Redlands. The receptionist was great but the physician assistance was rude. Instead of introducing himself he asked why I requested a physician assistance instead of a nurse practitioner in a stern voice. I felt I was being grilled in front of a lawyer, not being asked by a concerned caring doctor. He did not introduce himself and was not friendly overall. There was also no doctor on site, though I've noticed some urgent care places don't have doctors anymore for patients? Maybe I went on a bad day. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Jones for many years. He is always professional and doesn't BS you. What I like most is he always does a thorough work up including labs before prescribing unnecessary medication. Best Doctor I have ever had. read more

Terrible customer service at the front desk. Once seated it took 20 minutes for the receptionist to give us our sign in sheet. They only had 1 person ahead of us and we ended up leaving due to them taking over an hour long to take us back. Do not come to this urgent care. read more

I've had to come to this urgent care several times over the last few years because I have Redlands-Yucaipa group and this is basically the only urgent care available. I absolute have a horrible experience EVERY single time. The front office staff is fine, never had an issue. I've seen Dr Jones, a PA that I don't remember the name and recently the nurse practitioner Tittle and they all have the same rushed personality, arrogant and seem bothered that I was even there!!! I asked questions related to why I was there and they all have been short and talk with absolutely no bed side manner. I will drive out of the way to avoid this place in the future!! Also my brother is a diabetic and stepped on a nail and went to this urgent care and was sent home without an antibiotic even though he requested one to avoid infection. Well he ended up in the hospital 4 days later, the infection went septic and he almost lost his leg!!!! No joke. This place needs a complete make over with the higher up staff. They need to be taken off their pedal stools and brought back to reality and maybe find some professionalism and compassion. read more

Slowest urgent care I have ever been to. Very disappointed that they were open otherwise I could have gone to beaver next door which is extremely fast. During the hour I have been waiting so far only 2 patients have been seen. Luckily I got here before the 5 people that came after me. They'll probably be here for at least 3 more hours. Do not waste your time or money on this place! My family went for an urgent care visit and the doctors that saw each of us didn't even glance up from their paperwork. I came to pay our medical bill and the front office girl wouldn't accept our family Health FSA card (used solely for medical expenses). She asked her biller and they also said I couldn't use due to the name on the card. Here's some common sense for the front office and the biller that clearly needs to learn how to run their office better, educate yourself on medical FSA cards and the subscriber that it's only going to be under. Do some basic computer skills and look up the account to compare my name ( wife on bills along with him) with his name on our family medical account and it's a no brainer! read more

I saw this doctor one time for severe lymphedema. He failed to examine me which in my opinion would have consisted of a thorough exam of both legs with measurements in order to compare at a future visit. It would have included going over my medications which we did not and because of my age and history I would have expected him to have listened to my heart and lungs which he did not. I went to him because I needed to go for therapy for my legs in order to prevent further damage to them. I had not been able to get my compression garments on myself because I have limited range of motion with both knees and my right arm. I was seeking assistance and was told that I had to take responsibility for my own care. Essentially, he denied treatment since compression is the only treatment for my condition. Later he was asked to do a surgical clearance for cataract surgery I was having. He didn't do a clearance. By that I mean he didn't see me. I don't know where he got his information from but it wasn't from me. I have since learned that this doctor attended Ross University in the Domineca which is known for giving anyone a degree who wants one. The university paid millions of dollars to Kern County Medical Center to place their students for their clinical work. No other facility would take them because they aren't well educated. People go to medical school there who are unable to get into any program in the U.S. This doctor indicates he is board certified in Internal Medicine. But the association shows he isn't and hasn't been since 2003. I understand why he said to me that he wasn't sure he was smart enough to handle my medical problems....he isn't. In my opinion, he cuts corners and he isn't committed to his work in any meaningful way. He believes that being tall equals being powerful (check our his website). The scary thing is, he somehow got a license to practice medicine, but then that could mean he passed by only one question. Beware of who you see...not all doctors are what we would like them to be. This doctor has caused me to get much worse through his neglect. I rather suspect he knows little about my disease. Be careful. Be very careful. I shouldn't speak for my husband, but this doctor gave my husband an EKG to take to the cardiologist that said he had possibly had a heart attack. He didn't even bother to speak to my husband about the results. How is that for a doctor? As it turned out, it was just improper lead placement and we are grateful. I could see this doctor handing a patient a report that says they have some horrible kind of cancer and having his secretary tell the patient they need to see another doctor without meeting with them directly. Oh, on his website he tells others that they can become taller by doing some things physically and then tells them that being tall means they will be powerful. Huh? Dr. Jones is tall, but he isn't powerful. He is full of himself and thinks he is powerful. I don't think he has much to be proud of. He attended a bottom feeder school and he practices terrible medicine. I am in good hands now and receiving the treatment I need. Unfortunately, my legs have suffered more damage because of this doctor. Please check him out before you see him. Everything I have said is verifiable. read more
