I went back to the office a few more times ~ and saw another chiro there who I thought had a much better touch and much more of a healer in her approach. She is no longer there, sadly... One time I was charged one amount when I was finished. Later I got a bill that said - I owed more? Why was it $35 when I was there, then, apparently - it wasn't? They billed me for $10 more dollars later. Just weird? On the Plus Side? They are really great I think to do an Xmas Special every year - where you go in and make a donation, then they give you a free adjustment. Win/win on that part. They have good hearts.

I have no idea what the science is behind acupuncture and was a bit skeptical, but if a little of it's care can keep me from pain at work, then I'm open to it. I would highly recommend giving acupuncture, and Samantha, a try because it's not at all scary and could really ease discomfort and pain. Next up, I'd like to try the massage therapy! I was skeptical at first, I'll admit, as I was completely new to eastern medicine and naturopath practices. She made me feel super comfortable, and it seems she has healed my shoulder because it hasn't bothered me for over a year now. After the shoulder issue was cleared up, I continued my appointments with her not only for maintenance but because I am a barber and I stand on my feet for 9 hours per day, 5 days a week. This has caused all kinds of health problems for me including foot pain, back pain, wrist pain, rib alignment issues and neck/shoulder tension. She has been working on all of these things with me regularly and I notice a massive improvement in all areas. In addition to how she works wonders against pain, she is so friendly and funny and I enjoy the time with her. Samantha is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to whole food nutrition, natural remedies and supplements, and gives great advice for preventative measures I can take to help with the physical toll of hairstyling. She has even helped me with allergies, better sleep, and fighting colds. Thank you Sam, you're a life saver!

Now to the negative...I Made the mistake of getting a Groupon deal for 1 exam, 1 x-ray, and 3 adjustments. He told me he "can't" do the X-ray and then ignored everything I told him about what was hurting and what needed adjusting. He just tossed a heating pad on my back for 10 minutes, came back in and did the most shaky, half-ass job of popping my back and ignored the part that hurt most. He did a piss poor job at cracking my lower back and then with his weak, shaking hands that would make Michael J. Fox blush he feebly attempted to adjust my neck. Which was unsuccessful. Then he said, "ok, you're all good." And I'm like, uh... no? Not even close. What about all the painful areas I told you about? He then pulls out this little pop gun thing and clicks it on my shoulder and neck a few times. He then proceeded to tell me I was good now and hurried me out the door. Waste of time and Money. Maybe it's time for Dr. Mcwiggle hands to retire.
