We have lived in our home for 12 years and were looking for a reliable contractor to remodel our entire home. We plan to be in this home for a long time and really needed someone who would show the care and attention to our home. We interviewed several contractors and Joe with CB Homes matched our communication style and genuine care for the work performed. We planned to move out of our home due to the large scope of the project and needed someone we could trust and rely on without us being inside the house. Joe proved to be reliable and trustworthy. He showed up when he said he would and if he needed to adjust scheduling he communicated clearly and worked with us. He was excellent at managing the many different elements and phases of the project to keep us involved in the key decision making while keeping the project on schedule. Many people told us no way the project would be complete by our 3 month target but we were able to move back home exactly when we planned to. I had to let a previous contractor go. It was obvious to me his work was substandard. Vitaliy and crew had to undo everything they did and then start over. In addition, once they had almost completed the job I did not like the floor so had them redo. What I didn't like had to do with coloring and other things that had nothing to do with the quality of the installation. They redid the floor and I'm now loving my new shower. There's a lot of good things to say, from the top: The quote he provided was highly detailed and itemized clearly. He set clear expectations of what he would do and what we would provide to complete the job. We chose Millsaw because their quote was comprehensive, he was transparent with us about the our responsibilities and costs, he was professional in his initial visit to measure our layout, and he had good references. His team was on time every day. They laid down paper and a protective mat to cover our floor and stairs where they walked. They were kind to our family and BOY were they fast! They got the entire job done in about two weeks, maybe less, and cleaned up after each day. It was reassuring that Mike personally knew his team. We felt comfortable leaving them alone in our home.
