Unfortunately, my experience matches what other reviewers have described. Also, this company has a few unresolved BBB complaints recently. In May 2022, they installed a throttle body on my 2007 Ford Explorer. Shortly afterward, the vehicle began having intermittent stalling, and it has steadily worsened. A throttle body should last 100,000 miles or the life of the vehicle, so this kind of failure this soon after installation is unacceptable. Last week, a second mechanic at a Yelp four-star shop inspected it and said the throttle body was "faulty out of the box" and not a Motorcraft or Original Equipment Supplier part. When I brought the vehicle back to Eric's, they kept it for three full days, then told me "nothing is wrong" and attempted to charge me $125 to "look into it" -- exactly the kind of delay and added fees others have warned about. The manager blamed the delay on having only one mechanic and my vehicle being "in line." To make it worse, they claimed the warranty had expired, but when I asked for the signed warranty documentation, they couldn't produce it. If you're going to deny coverage, you should be able to provide the paperwork you say I agreed to. Run -- don't walk -- away from this shop.

Called and got a quote first for new brake pads (I think it was $185 but can't remember for sure) and then got a quote for brake pads and rotors, which was $450 including labor. But it turns out I put it off for too long and also needed new calipers. He lifted my car up and showed me how they were leaking brake fluid. And this didn't surprise me because I could feel my car was no longer braking. He finished everything during my work day and only charged $1,000. Ryle is among the top three mechanics I have ever used and had by far the fastest turnaround of them all. I can't recommend this guy enough!

I brought the supplies required but I brought the wrong bulb so they used their own which is fine. I just don't know in what world it is okay to charge 79$ for a signal light replacement EVEN IF they used their own light. I bought the wrong one but they're not selling bulbs for more than 10$ at the auto store. As for the oil and oil filter I do understand I have a diesel so I'm always charged more but 99$ feels like a lot especially since I brought my own things. Everyone I told about these prices said they said it was overpriced. I don't really know much about cars or what things cost in this area which is why I was asking all my friends but I'm not coming back because I feel like it was pretty pricey and this was with a 20$ discount from the mailer.. I'm kinda disappointed because I really wanted to support a small business but never mind. They did get the work done and were very nice so this is why I gave 4 stars. I had the both the water pump and timing belt replaced at a dealership just over a year ago and was shocked that the dealership had improperly installed the timing belt. Fortunately Chris and the mechanics at the Auto Doc caught the timing belt before it broke. Highly recommend.

We came in, and Ruben found out that the pipe connecting to the catalytic converter was messed up. He offered a reasonable price, fixed it in 30 minutes, and the problem was fixed! I brought a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox to the shop on April 3, 2026 for diagnostic and repair of a…read morecheck engine light, catalytic converter-related codes, and a loud exhaust noise. shop diagnosed the issue/codes and performed repairs including installation of a universal catalytic converter, muffler repair, and one tire replacement, for which I paid approximately $822. They told me that something did cause the Cat to go bad & recommended a Tune Up. So I got that done. I returned on April 11, 2026 after experiencing what felt like my tire getting ready to fall off/wobbly- despite the shop performing suspension-related repairs including front lower control arms, two additional used tires, tire rotations & an alignment- less than a week later I continue to experience the same unsafe driving conditions, including sensations that the wheel is unstable or may detach. This indicates that the repairs were either improperly performed or failed to resolve the issue they were intended to fix. The shop performed additional repairs on April 12-13, 2026, including installation of a pre-catalytic converter, suspension components, ignition coils, and spark plugs (tube up), based on THE SHOPS recommendation that underlying issues were causing catalytic converter failure. I paid additional costs for these repairs im the amount if $1944. Within days of these repairs, the check engine light returned. Upon returning the vehicle, the shop then identified a cracked exhaust manifold and informed me that the BRAND NEE installed catalytic converters were already damaged or "burnt out," and would need to be replaced again. the shop failed to properly diagnose and identify the cracked manifold and underlying cause prior to performing extensive and costly repairs, resulting in unnecessary repairs and continued mechanical failure. I have since taken my car to two other mechanics who have given their expertise & have both agreed that the work done by this shop was not done completely as well as that I would have to get most of the work done AGAIN. Buyer beware.
