Hi, First and foremost...ALL Driving Schools are not the same. I did my research before spending my…read morehard earned money. Ms. Junes Driving Lesson 770.207.6905 is the only number you need. My co-worker and I started the in the same week taking driving lessons. She chose A-1 here in Athens. She had different instructors and they all had different teaching methods. She was frustrated she wasn't learning much. Also some times they never showed up for lessons. They are expensive and as she said not properly LAW/REGULATORY trained. She wasted her money which was a lot more than I paid. It took her 3 months with them before she could test and get licensed. So sad. I live in Athens and I took 20 hrs of driving with Ms. June earlier this year. (2020) and was a licensed driver in 3 weeks. Only had 1 instructor and Ms June knows her stuff. * I apologize for not writing a testimonial before now. Ms June is a very very very patient lady. I like that she will show you how to do a task if you just cannot understand how to do it. Which happened a lot with me since English is not my native language. She is open minded and very understanding. My class schedule seemed to change almost daily sometimes but she always 99% of the time made all our lessons. Some days she had to reschedule but they were always consistent in same week, so I never had more than 2 days between lessons. I enjoyed her company as a person as well as a very knowledgeable instructor. She has been teaching over 25 years and knows how to keep you calm while putting you in lie situations that you will face on your own once you have your Drivers License. I was terrified the 1st 2 lessons of the unknown but she always made it seem so easy. I never thought I would be able to drive here in Athens. People are sometimes rude and road rage. I see people on phones and some are eating while driving. I learned with her 5 days then I went out with my room mate. She was wild. She told me to drive very differently than Ms June had taught me. I appreciated her helping me but I drove Ms June's way since it is law and regulatory. My friend was impressed with my skill. She did manage after our 2nd lesson to not tell me what or how to do things since she saw and learned a few things from me actually. :) SO, Ms June taught me parking, lane change and how to use each mirror, pump gas (I made a video of this) lol, uncontrolled left turns, yielding, proper right turns, proper left turns and which is legal lane to turn in so its not an accident waiting to happen. She is serious about this. She is also very serious when it comes to using the correct mirror for each task you are doing. Example: DO NOT use rear-view as your trusted lane changing mirror (she will scold you if you do). Yes I know this for a fact :) She is awesome and a great Driving Instructor. She took time for an extra lesson driving 316 -85 after I was licensed to go with me (in her car) to Norcross Asian market so I could stock up on some things and I was very thankful for that. Truly a week later is when the Covid-19 hit us. I know others have posted regarding Ms June, and this Lady deserves attention for her patience and skill. She really is The Best especially for International Students that speak English as 2nd language. :) Her price is very reasonable for students. I would give her 100 stars if I could. If you need to learn proper driving skills....CALL her.

Miss June's driving lessons gave me the confidence i needed to face seasoned drivers on the road…read moretherefore special thanks to Miss June herself and Miss Phillis for their patience with a new driver while still being assertive with compassion and understanding. God bless you ladies and the rest of your team for this most important service you provide to the community and families from all walks of life . My payment to this driving school was well spent.

So glad I chose 1 Act for my driving lessons (wanted a refresher). Thank you Jamaica for making…read morethe lessons a great learning experience. Professional and full 2 hour lessons.

I signed up for a risk reduction class in December with the classes beginning on Monday, 1/12/26. I…read moredidn't receive the link until Friday 1/9/26 explaining that a workbook was needed (physical or virtual). I requested a physical workbook due to my eyesight and was told to be at the Duluth office to pick it up on Monday by 4:00 (they are not open on weekends) on the day of the class (1/12/26). I left work early and arrived by 4:00 only to find they were closed. I was told the office manager left early and I had to view the workbook electronically. That was just the first red flag. I realized early in the class that the instructor did not seem to like me by his responses to my answers to some of his questions. I was trying to show that I was present and participating, but he was condescending and he belittled/berated me if he disagreed with my responses. By the last day, he questioned in class if the children that I work with even like me (the classes are recorded). This was personally not a positive experience for me. I would not recommend. Finally, the communication appears to be primarily via text messages, and the beginning of the thread seems to be automated (at least over the weekend) since I asked questions that were never answered and the responses were generic. It asked if wanted to participate in another program, but when I asked what it was, I didn't receive an answer. If you text them with issues during the week, an actual person will respond, it just takes a while.

I'll provide a little background on me. I never learned to drive in my teens. Unfortunately,…read moregrowing up, my parents were hypervigilant/overprotective and steered me away from really learning at the "assumed" age. So, I didn't get my permit until I turned 24. However, I lived in Connecticut and then Brooklyn for awhile before moving back to GA almost 10 years later. Living in cities with easily accessible public transportation (Metro North/NYC Subway) pushed learning to the backburner. So, basically, I'm an older student genuinely learning for the first time. I purchased the 10 hour package. And, I admit I'm an overly cautious driver and make rookie mistakes. Even so, I'm determined to learn to become competent and realize that means taking directions and learning from my errors. So, what do I think about Just Drive Right? Scheduling was easy. My instructor was extremely professional and never was late to a scheduled session. My instructor was experienced, knew the rules of the road to a "T" and would demonstrate any errors I made on a tablet so I can better envision how to improve. I'm not hypersensitive to strong direction. Because you WILL be corrected STRONGLY. Understandably, any mistake, even a small one, could potentially cost you your life (and the life of others). There would be days that my instructor would go over time to assist (which definitely wasn't expected). You are in very good hands and can trust that you (or your child) is sitting with an experienced driver. The costs of a package are more than reasonable. ****UPDATED REVIEW****: Just finished my last lesson with Jeanelle and JDR. Turns out it was simply a misunderstanding. If you go to JDR. Ask for Jeanelle 5 stars all the way!!
