Mr. Tony and his lessons are very professional and thorough. He is very punctual and responsible. He made sure that I received my certificate on time for my road test. I really enjoyed his lessons as I felt myself become a more defensive and confident driver. He does an amazing job explaining things and will prepare you for any situation that could emerge in the future. Thanks to his preparation, I was able to pass my road test today first try with a perfect score. If you're someone looking for preparation for a road test or wanting to become a better driver, I strongly recommend Jireh Driving School.

When I first spoke with Tony, I thought that I found the perfect driving school for my son to take…read morehis drivers lessons. He seemed nice with a lot of experience. He didn't communicate very well concerning the fact that they only accepted check or cash. Admittedly, I thought that to be very strange but I went with it. I paid for my son's three lessons up front. We had to do some juggling around with my son's lessons. Again, it was a little unorganized. He said that he had to fit my son in to his schedule. Then he had repair trouble with his car and had to purchase a new one. Again, I had some concerns but went along with it primarily because my son found Tony to be a very good instructor. He had very good feedback after each lesson. He was very pleased with and enjoyed his lessons. During my son's last lesson, I found it strange that he was not presented with his certificate at that time. I asked Tony about it and he said that he would mail it to us. This is where the lions' share of problems with Tony from Jireh Driving School Inc. begin. We never received the certificate in the mail. Two weeks ago, when we returned from vacation, I called Tony to ask about the certificate and to inform him that we never received it. This is where I began to feel as though I was being scammed. He said that he would have to reprint it and resend it. I even texted him our address again, even though it was on our initial paperwork. I never received a response from the text. We never received that copy either. I placed a call to Tony again last week, he said that he would call me but never did. I placed another call to Tony this week (which makes it a month after the completion of my son's lessons) yesterday. He didn't pick up the call so I left a voice mail. I didn't receive a call back so I called later in the day (around 4pm) from my work phone, which he picked up, my guess is because he didn't recognize the number. I asked if I could pick up my son's certificate. For whatever reason, he didn't want me to pick it up. He said that he would bring it to me today before 5. I had to come back in and edit this review because Tony did show up to produce my son's certificate. I think that Tony needs to be more responsive and sensitive regarding his business. There are also some practices that he could incorporate to improve his business acumen.

I wouldn't give a Defensive Driving School more than 3 stars since it was the worst day of my life…read more But since I spent 7 hours here, I might as well write a review of its staff, location, and the quality of food. J/k I got a stupid ticket (not a speeding ticket), and I needed to get rid of some points. The class was 7 hours long! We finished the class early, but they made us stay the entire time because I think that's required by the state (to punish us hardened, dangerous criminals who get caught breaking small traffic laws). The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Also, the instructor was fun and tried to make the class interesting. She would give hints like, "pay attention to this part since it will be on the test." Note: if you don't get a 70% or better on the test, you will have to take the class again (and pay another $75). But the test is super easy, and everyone passed. The location was easy to find if you live in the Marietta area. The parking lot is horrendous though. It's the most dangerous lot to drive out of. It would be ironic to get into an accident trying to drive out of your defensive driving class. They also needed to turn the air conditioning up. It was getting pretty hot in the classroom. Their vending machines provided adequate snacks and beverages. The seats and desks were more comfortable than my desks in the lecture halls of Georgia Tech.

With only 2 weeks of in-car lessons with the instructor (and owner) of the Modern Driving School, I…read morewas easily able to get my license in Georgia. Before my first lesson, I only knew how to drive forward on local roads only and was frightened by the idea of driving; I had never learned how to drive in rear, much less park or parallel park. But by the end of the two weeks (we met several times for about 2 hours each), I was more than ready to take the Georgia road test and passed within 10 minutes with flying colors. The instructor is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also very patient, humorous and kind. I appreciated that he didn't panic or get frustrated when I drove badly. I didn't need my own car to practice; the instructor picked me up at my school dorm and dropped me off after lessons were over. He also picked me up and allowed me to use the company car for my drive test. The company's car has a break on the passenger side so that the instructor can break in case the student driver should lose control of the car. I didn't need assistance on the written test but I understand that this driving school excellently prepares their students for that test as well.

If I could give this daycare 0 stars, I would…read more My 9-month-old attended the Belle Isle location, and I only lasted a month. I enrolled because I was in a bind and needed childcare quickly, but there were red flags from the beginning. When I first called, I was told they had a spot, only to be called back while I was on my way to tour and told they didn't. Two days later, I called again as a prospective parent and was told they did have a spot for a 9-month-old. That was my first red flag. The infant room was dull and lacked stimulation, toys were reportedly cleaned only once a week, infants received no snacks, and they had no outdoor time. Most concerning, my daughter was frequently picked up red-faced and exhausted from crying. One day, I found her sitting next to a teacher, bawling and reaching to be held, while the teacher sat there emotionless and did nothing to comfort her. As a mother, that was heartbreaking to witness. There were also cleanliness and illness concerns. One day the daycare smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals, with a mop bucket directly outside the infant room. Another morning, 9 babies were crammed into the tiny room, many crying and screaming. I also saw visibly sick children with extremely runny noses. My daughter, who had never been sick before attending, became sick shortly afterward and passed it to me. The bottle situation was another major issue. They don't allow glass bottles, which I understand, but I offered multiple alternatives because I was uncomfortable with my baby's milk being heated in plastic. I provided silicone sleeves for her glass bottles and eventually purchased shatterproof glass bottles completely covered in silicone. Rather than working with me on a solution, I was told she could not return unless she had plastic bottles. They also did not consistently ensure she finished her milk or refrigerate leftover milk. Communication was difficult because her teacher did not speak English, making it challenging to communicate my daughter's routine, preferences, and needs. There is also a $300 deposit that is refundable only with two weeks' notice, in addition to a $150 registration fee. I ultimately lost my deposit because I couldn't bring myself to keep my daughter there another week. That cost was worth it for my daughter's well-being. What also stood out to me was how little concern they showed when I informed them I was unenrolling my daughter. The response was simply "OK!" There was no concern and no acknowledgment of my daughter's departure. Overall, my experience felt very transactional. I did not feel my daughter was receiving the warmth, empathy, attentiveness, and individualized care I expect from a daycare. I know everyone's experience is different, and based on the other reviews, I may be in the minority. But as a mom, you know your child, and you know when something doesn't feel right. This place simply wasn't a good fit for my daughter, and I'm glad I trusted my instincts and pulled her out.
