So glad I chose 1 Act for my driving lessons (wanted a refresher). Thank you Jamaica for making…read morethe lessons a great learning experience. Professional and full 2 hour lessons.

I signed up for a risk reduction class in December with the classes beginning on Monday, 1/12/26. I…read moredidn't receive the link until Friday 1/9/26 explaining that a workbook was needed (physical or virtual). I requested a physical workbook due to my eyesight and was told to be at the Duluth office to pick it up on Monday by 4:00 (they are not open on weekends) on the day of the class (1/12/26). I left work early and arrived by 4:00 only to find they were closed. I was told the office manager left early and I had to view the workbook electronically. That was just the first red flag. I realized early in the class that the instructor did not seem to like me by his responses to my answers to some of his questions. I was trying to show that I was present and participating, but he was condescending and he belittled/berated me if he disagreed with my responses. By the last day, he questioned in class if the children that I work with even like me (the classes are recorded). This was personally not a positive experience for me. I would not recommend. Finally, the communication appears to be primarily via text messages, and the beginning of the thread seems to be automated (at least over the weekend) since I asked questions that were never answered and the responses were generic. It asked if wanted to participate in another program, but when I asked what it was, I didn't receive an answer. If you text them with issues during the week, an actual person will respond, it just takes a while.

If you are picking between the class days/times I suggest you ask which one Ron teaches. for 6 hours across 2 sessions he kept the energy up and made the class fun. TBH when I get in my car after the first session I was thinking that I might disappoint him so I drive a little safer. He's part driving teacher, part life coach. Thank you Ron and hope you get lot's of fresh pow skiing in Colorado.

On her first lesson, my daughter, who is autistic,…read morestarted having a panic attack and left the lesson early, we were charged a $30 cancellation fee. The second lesson was ok, but never drove on any roads, just a neighborhood. The third lesson, my daughter was cut off by another driver, almost causing an accident, and Stacey yelled at her for not knowing what to do. My daughter left the lesson early and again we were charged another $30 cancellation fee. Leaving a lesson early IS NOT A CANCELLATION. The instructor said in her review that my daughter was not ready to drive after the third lesson. Of course she wasn't because she hadn't been taught how to drive, just how to brake and turn the wheel. Stacey was playing games on her phone, playing loud music, talking on the phone, that was hooked into Bluetooth that was ringing throughout the lesson, her car smelled of stale cigarette smoke and had a check engine light on EVERY LESSON. The 4th lesson she didn't even show up to because I called and asked for a new instructor because Stacey instruction and behavior was completely unacceptable. I will be demanding my money back for a waste of time and making my daughter more afraid of driving because she was yelled at by Stacey. They said you can take your driving test after the lessons but don't tell you that it's an additional $100 dollars. I paid $900 dollars for this rip off company to teach my child to drive and she still doesn't know how due to the utter incompetence of the instructor. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SCHOOL! They are scam and will be reported to the better business bureau.

Life long skills you must take seriously. It could save you and your child's life and others. If…read moreevery parent in the area, is fortunate enough to send their children here, there would be less accidents and a lot more knowledge of the seriousness the skill of driving is. It's not about passing a test, it's about skills you're providing your child with...for life! My son waited a full year to get his license after witnessing a fatal accident ahead of him on Roswell Road while our neighbor was driving. The man hit was on a moped and was instantly killed by the driver in front of them. My son drove with me for almost a year in every condition possible and as an extra precaution, I sent him to The Strong Driving School about 6 months later to get extra confidence behind the wheel in rough road conditions and what to do if they are about to be in an accident. My parents were hit by a drunk driver, my mom was pregnant with me. Luckily, mom was induced and wound up okay, dad had a broken leg. If we all took the skill of driving more seriously, we would not have as many tragedies. My son gets compliments for being a good driver by his peers, often. Invest in your kids. You spend more on your lattes!

Are you not allowed to ask questions about their services to understand what you are paying for? Funny how they want payment up front before even letting you know if they have a contract, if they hold proper insurance, or any idea of what availability they have. I called back and nicely (I mean very nicely) asked why she hung up on me and she said " yes, I hung up on you cause we so busy, we don't need you" - that is verbatim in her broken English. She was horrifically rude and unprofessional. Milner came HIGHLY recommended by a dear friend. I am appalled that someone like this even is able to get a job much less provide customer service. I'm grateful I didn't give her my credit card information.

She taught some highly sensitive political views during her class and ALLOWED STUDENTS WHO SHE LIKED TO WORK IN GROUPS AND USE THEIR PHONES TO TAKE THE STATE TEST. She also gave the students a free 100 on the State Required Joshua's Law Drug & Alcohol test. For the boys she seemed to target, she either kicked them out of class with no refund for "talking" or made them clean the entire facility to make up for "talking" while all of the girls noted they were talking too. On top of that, they have NO in-car driving lessons until after Thanksgiving. I signed up in July. They will take your money and run. They are horribly run. They allow substitutes with no managerial supervision to run wild and make their own choices in the classroom. DO NOT USE THEM. They have been reported to the GA State DOT and the Better Business Bureau. THEY GET A ZERO RATING, but that was not an option.
