They are out of business. Lost my money when the owner sadly died. Good folks when it was open.

Life long skills you must take seriously. It could save you and your child's life and others. If every parent in the area, is fortunate enough to send their children here, there would be less accidents and a lot more knowledge of the seriousness the skill of driving is. It's not about passing a test, it's about skills you're providing your child with...for life! My son waited a full year to get his license after witnessing a fatal accident ahead of him on Roswell Road while our neighbor was driving. The man hit was on a moped and was instantly killed by the driver in front of them. My son drove with me for almost a year in every condition possible and as an extra precaution, I sent him to The Strong Driving School about 6 months later to get extra confidence behind the wheel in rough road conditions and what to do if they are about to be in an accident. My parents were hit by a drunk driver, my mom was pregnant with me. Luckily, mom was induced and wound up okay, dad had a broken leg. If we all took the skill of driving more seriously, we would not have as many tragedies. My son gets compliments for being a good driver by his peers, often. Invest in your kids. You spend more on your lattes! read more

100% the best driving hands-on driving education available. Mr. Milner taught me how to drive in less than a week during his 6-hour course, and I passed my driving test easily within the same week. Knows how to simply explain things that can seem really complicated, such as parallel parking and he makes everything super easy and safe. I called their office 2 days before I needed to schedule driving classes with a serious time crunch, and they were able to schedule me immediately and very professionally over the phone. All my others friends in East Cobb told me they hated their driving instructors at other schools and that one on one driving lessons were a terrible experience. This man is a genius and I highly recommend. read more

Since I cannot select zero stars, I will simply give one. The woman I spoke to hung up on me after I asked a few questions - about cost, how to schedule, why I would be charged before even getting my daughter scheduled or receiving any contractual information and any insurance information. Are you not allowed to ask questions about their services to understand what you are paying for? Funny how they want payment up front before even letting you know if they have a contract, if they hold proper insurance, or any idea of what availability they have. I called back and nicely (I mean very nicely) asked why she hung up on me and she said " yes, I hung up on you cause we so busy, we don't need you" - that is verbatim in her broken English. She was horrifically rude and unprofessional. Milner came HIGHLY recommended by a dear friend. I am appalled that someone like this even is able to get a job much less provide customer service. I'm grateful I didn't give her my credit card information. read more

THE BEST DRIVING EDUCATION AVAILABLE. Two of my three girls so far have attended and earned their on the road hours with Milner, and it has been well worth it! This family owned and run business offers an extremely valuable and substantive driving education that goes well beyond just passing the tests and getting the road hours. No teenager WANTS to go to driving school from 8-4 for four days, or go through the six hours of required driving (required by the DMV), but with Milner, they do this and actually learn how to drive safely in many conditions. You cannot put a price on preparing your child for as many possible situations on the road, and Milner does this. There is a reason it is not the cheapest driving class available - it is full service teaching, testing and permitting. Well worth the cost. As for the "yelp-recommended" review posted by a person that has not ever been a customer or even investigated the business - I think Yelp should recommend reviews from actual customers - not one that has never spoken with company, taken the course or even investigated the business. I don't know what actually occurred in that situation (and i don't endorse adversity), but driving is risky business for all of us, and I am thankful for the Milners being there to help our teens learn to be safer drivers. The best! I hardly ever give reviews but because of the one stars given for failure to read the website themselves or ask questions, I felt compelled. This is a small mom and pop shop. Literally. No 20-year-old teaching your child to drive. And my kids both said Mr Milner is super strict. They thought he was amazing in a scary way. ;) Regarding the negative reviews: It would be "nice" if they refunded that lady's money but they are a very busy small business. She took someone else's spot and being too busy to not read isn't enough reason for a business to be "nice". To me, they were super helpful working with my son who was terrified to drive and had a few conflicts with driving times. This lady is the reason we have 80 pages of legalese to sign everywhere we go. Read. The. Website. It's even on the payment page. The woman that didn't like their COVID plans, I'm guessing you didn't ask first. You said you did but I can't believe they didn't reply because I have asked no less than 20 questions of them, all getting a return call or email. My daughter wore a mask in the classroom but not when driving with Mr. Milner. I asked what the policy was and they let me know that masks are optional there. Okay. My choice was to proceed ahead. Love Milner and would not have sent my kids anywhere else. read more

** BUYER BEWARE ** I have requested a refund from Milner Driving School and they have refused. I have not received any services from the school or signed any contracts obligating me to these fees. On December 12, 2017 I called Milner Driving school to sign up my son for driving classes. I enrolled for classroom training, driving instruction and signed up for the final driving test. At this time I was NOT told that all sales were final. I did all of this during the busy holiday season and realized after speaking with my son later that there were conflicts with his robotics program and SAT tutoring. On December 15, 2017 I called to cancel the classes. I saw that other driving schools were offering courses over the holidays that would better work with our schedule. When I called Milner Driving School to cancel they told me that they do not give refunds. This caught me off guard and when I inquired further they offered to move the dates for instruction. These dates however were unacceptable to me because it would take many months before my son would be able to get his driving license. I let them know that these dates would not work and they insisted they would not give a refund. I told them that I needed to process this information and would be getting back in touch. On December 20, 2017 I called Milner Driving School again to tell them that I was definitely canceling and still expected a refund. I had received their contract in the mail and it did plainly state that they did not give refunds, but I had not signed this contract. They said that they would discuss this with Mr. Milner and have him get in touch. Mr. Milner never called me. Instead I received an e-mail with this message: Good Morning Mrs. Friedman, Susan talked with me about your enrollment. When you enrolled in our school we discussed that all transactions are final. We do not have a refund policy, Please let me know if we need to change any dates to fit Andrews schedule. Kind Regards, Sara Toth Milner Driving School I replied to them that I viewed this as unacceptable and still expected a refund. They had no signed contract from me and I had already signed my child up with classes at another driving school. I was not aware of the policy when I signed up. It has been 6 days and I have received no response to my e-mail and have never been contacted by Mr. Milner. Milner Driving School has no signed legal documents stating that I agree to their terms and conditions (specifically the policy of no refunds). I promptly called the school as soon as I realized there was issue with scheduling and at this time did not know about their policy (our classes weren't even beginning for a month). The Milner Driving School loses nothing with my cancellation however I am out a lot of money with absolutely no services rendered. read more

I used to work in an office building in the same complex. One time I was driving through the little road to get up to my parking lot and I came upon one of their cars. A student was driving and a teacher was sitting shotgun. At a three way stop near their office and on the way to mine in this complex, the student stopped after just after me and then tried to go before me. I had to lurch on my brakes as the student driver continued through, but on top of that the teacher flailed his arms at me in the passenger seat as if he wanted us to both pull over and duke it out. That's horrible behavior by a teacher right in front of a student who's driving career hasn't even begun yet. read more

We signed our daughter up for this driving school based on the recommendation of several friends. The in person class was scheduled to be held June 1-4 2020. An email and phone call the week before asking about social distance policies due to COVID-19 restrictions went unanswered. We brought our daughter to the class, only to discover that the class was operating in violation of the Governor's executive orders in the COVID-19 pandemic, with 30+ people in a room, no masks and no social distancing. No health questionnaires, no temperature checks. The only precaution was a bottle of hand sanitizer. We removed our daughter from the class and requested a refund. No refund has been provided. Extremely disappointed. If they're going to disregard health safety issues and laws, how can I trust them with my daughter's driving safety? Will be pursuing legal options for a refund since they have not voluntarily provided one. read more

I signed my daughter up for lessons here. After her third lesson, she was in tears when I picked her up. She said her instructor kept touching her shoulder. Then she told me that he had kept saying he loved eating horse meat, which is an absurd thing to say. On top of all that, this instructor said that she was like all women and was a slow learner. This is NO WAY to treat a 15 year old girl. I am absolutely furious that I can't get a refund for these terrible people harassing my daughter. read more

Lmao Mr.Milner is my absolute favorite teacher. Currently it's summer, a time where I should be home relaxing, but I have to go to drivers ed. But somehow this man makes me look forward to coming here every single day. I've learned a crap ton of stuff and feel like I can apply it behind the wheel. read more

I would never use them. They are almost double the price of some other schools. Their receptionist is unbelievably rude and condescending. She sounds nice at first, but trust me-they are not worth it. read more

They are teaching my 3rd teenager how to drive, and the next two will learn from them, also. Mr Milner was probably waving his arms at the teenager in his car, to make an impression on the young driver. I'm going to guess that kid never ever forgets to stop and wait his turn again!!! The state won't let him use a taser, which would work!! read more
