However, there seemed to be a little bit of a light funk of body odor that lingers throughout the place. I hope they find a way to circulate fresh air around the studio to make it a better visit next time!

(update 3/21/21) I must update my review after a very disturbing encounter with the owner Keith…read more After being a loyal client for about 1.5 years, I was following his cancellation policy (I texted him at least 12 hours BEFORE our next session), he agreed via text it was ok to reschedule (he does this for all clients as long as it's within the policy window outside of emergencies, pretty standard). Then, later that week during my session, he seemed very angry but incredibly passive aggressive. He said I could not reschedule and he's keeping my $75 for that session. I was shocked, caught off-guard because I followed his guidelines. I went back and looked at my texts, not only did I follow his policy, but we supported his business through covid so you'd think we would have at least ONE conversation over the 1.5 years in regards to rescheduling or his dissatisfaction. Since day 1, I was very open about how we needed flexibility in our busy schedules. Later that week, he texted me wanting to drop us as clients (surprised, but completely fine with it) and said he'd refund my 8 sessions for the rest of the month. Well, I can clearly count to 9, so I let him know he owed me for 2 sessions (Sunday + this one). Yeah, he tried to steal from us 2 times. I gave him a chance to explain himself, this was the professional and kind response I got from him via text, he told us to go F*** ourselves (see screenshot, thanks Keith for the evidence!). I also noticed he did not honor his off-peak hours 9am-11am at $40/session. Beware of this owner and his business practices. I will be going back to all my monthly Venmo payments to ensure he didn't overcharge us. More than happy to resolve this issue still and looking to get our money back. Next step will be to report to consumer protection bureaus. I will update this review if anything changes.

However, three days later, when I returned on Wednesday, the locks were still not fixed and remained broken. What was even more upsetting and uncomfortable was the staff's attitude. When I went back to speak with the front desk again, the same person showed no sincerity or willingness to apologize. Instead, they appeared indifferent, as if the issue had nothing to do with them. I will be reporting this poor service attitude to management. It is now 2026, and it is honestly shocking that the level of service can still be this bad. If there were an option to give zero stars, I would not hesitate to do so.

I still love the club, despite all the neglect. Here is the email: Membership dues continue to rise well above inflation. For our family/group (same membership for many years), the cost has increased approximately 50% in just the past three years. At this rate, the club is quickly moving from "nice-to-have" to "can't justify" for a growing number of us. Facilities - Santa Clara and Courtside Despite paying roughly double what we paid a few years ago, we've seen very little tangible improvement at the two locations I use most. The pre-COVID renovation at Santa Clara remains unfinished. Is there a firm timeline for completion? When can we expect a proper, full-service cafeteria? Courtside locker room and showers: The overall condition remains poor. It took years to replace the old, unsanitary carpet, several electronic locks are still broken with no apparent repair in progress, showers are outdated and frequently out of order, and on multiple occasions I've seen extension cords running across wet floors. The locker room layout itself feels cramped; reconfiguring with fewer, larger lockers and more open space would greatly reduce congestion during peak hours. Courtside desperately needs a modern, clean restroom on the first floor (similar to Santa Clara). Relying solely on the tiny facility in the men's locker room is unpleasant and unhygienic. Right now everybody must go this tiny bathroom where the floor is often wet and I am not sure if I am stepping into water or pee. This bathroom is totally disgusting. The comfortable wooden cushioned loungers that used to be available at all clubs were replaced with cheap, uncomfortable ones. Most mid-tier apartment complexes now have better pool furniture than we do. Could we please have the original (or equivalent) loungers brought back? Parking during peak hours is already at a breaking point. If membership continues to grow without expanding parking or offering solutions, the situation will become untenable. With dues rising so significantly, it's frustrating to see so little reinvestment in basic maintenance and member experience. I genuinely want the club to succeed and remain a place our families enjoy for many more years, but the current trajectory on pricing versus facility quality is unsustainable for many of us.
