Within just a few hours I'm feeling 50% better! My energy is noticeably increased and my cold symptoms have subsided. Looking forward to going back and trying other treatments as they offer a great variety of services. I felt incredibly safe with Dr. Mesa - he's intelligent, sympathetic, professional, and made sure to use an ultrasound to locate a good vein (I have terrible veins and getting an IV is usually a nightmare, but he made it a breeze). The environment was so calm, the beds were heated and it was very, very clean. Finally, the clinic is located above an Aveda salon so it smells like heaven!

Both times, as soon as I arrive and check in, two nurses rush me to the back, they are asking questions, one is putting in the IV and the other is checking my blood pressure. My blood pressure was elevated both times. My most recent visit, she also took my bp over my hoodie sleeve and the first thing she says is, "You're going to need to get on meds." What "nurse" isn't aware of how blood pressure work? I just walked blocks, you didn't let me sit, you're talking to me, the cuff isn't on my arm it's on a sweater and you think my readings wouldn't be elevated? Also, how can 1 or 2 readings determine medication? Giving unsolicited medical advice to a stranger whose medical history you know nothing about is condescending. She could've simply said your reading is high, follow up with your doctor. On another note, the clinic is clean, beautiful, comfortable and the receptionist was very friendly. The first time I felt like the IV helped me a lot. This last time I didn't feel any benefits.

Everything comes under the same payment umbrella - no sneaky "extra charges" for add ons after your initial treatment plan & payment is decided. The treatment that you pay for covers everything you need to successfully reach your health goals. Giulietta is kind & understanding, which is hard to find unless you seek out specialty settings like this. I called the clinic, double checking on the time and was told that if I wanted to come in at 1:30 instead of 1:50 PM, they could change that appointment. I said yes and came in at 1:30 PM and was directed to a room to sit in and the door was closed. I heard the counselor I was speaking to someone else in the next room over. They were in the middle of an appointment. I figured it was almost over and I waited another 10 minutes and heard the woman leave. But just before she left, I heard her ask the counselor if she was taking up her time because someone else came in (meaning me.) The counselor said no one else is here, even though I was sitting in the room with the door closed. Just then, someone else came in and the same counselor took that other woman into the next room and started speaking to her, all the while I'm still waiting to speak to someone for my 1:30 PM appointment. My appointment was for 1:30 PM. Not for 1:50 PM or after she saw the second person. I called to check on the time because my time is important and I felt like my time was not important enough to this clinic and it made me feel like a number. It seems like they are overscheduled and I just left at 1:50 after I was still sitting in the room, waiting. No one called to apologize or ask me what happened.

Unfortunately, I had three tests done. Flu: negative. Covid: negative. Strep: negative. It ended up being a sinus infection. I was given a prescription for antibiotics. After two days of taking them with not much relief, I decided to elevate my healing with an IV. IV-Me Wellness Center had an opening for 9am. I decided on the Wellness IV; the B and C vitamins promised a boost to my energy and an improve my overall health. It includes an oxygen treatment for brain health and mental clarity. Then you finish up with a B-shot in your arm or glute which promotes good rest. Kim took such good care of me during my drip. I was so relaxed that I had fallen asleep. It was dingy, didn't feel very clean, and the tech was not nice and seemed rushed and agitated the whole time. I went to get a RMR test. I haven't been on a scale in a long time, so one would figure they would have a scale in the facility (seeing that this is all about your body weight, etc). She said they don't have one, but asked me if I could give her an estimate. I said no because its been a long time, and besides I want it as accurate as possible. She then begrudgingly and very rudely , put me on the Dexascan to get my weight. It was about 20 pounds off. (I went to my neighbors after the test to use her accurate scale) So she figured the results based on that inaccurate entry of my weight. She was rushed the whole time, and kept saying she has another client! It wasn't my fault. I got there 10 minutes early! For a bit during the test, I was uncomfortable with breathing, and she pretty much raised her voice and said "Cant help that!".. with no understanding of course! Anyway, waste of time and money! Maybe other locations are better, but this one was not up to par!
