Where do I begin? Thousands of dollars to have Luxury Vinyl Tile floors installed and what do I have? Soft spots, uneven floors, squeaks, and LVT planks actually breaking. They came out once to address a couple places and did some half-assed repairs. I went into the shop again last week and talked to a sales rep who said he would have the management again contact me. Still hasn't happened. In case anyone wants to know, they went under new management and almost everyone was terminated and replaced not long ago. Also looks like they terminated their quality and customer service. Update: They came out and looked around, decided it can't be their work, so they sent an "inspector" to look at the home. It will take at least 10 weeks before they get the report and recommended remedy. In the meantime, I get the honors of walking around on the crappy job they did. I see a lawsuit and a lot of wasted time and effort in the future. I don't know what the hell is wrong with Companies today, they just don't care about their quality of work or customer customer satisfaction. read more

I had new carpet installed and went with this group due to the salesman who was responsive and easy to work with, however, the issue is with the installers and specifically with how much damage they caused to my home. The actual carpet installation seems fine, but there were so many other issues. For one thing there was virtually no clean up - carpets were not vacuumed and little carpet pieces covered the floors, packed down the floor vents, and sprinkled all over my stairs, entry, and furniture below. The closet doors were taken off and scratched and damaged, walls are scratched up and there is a nice big scratch in the outside of my front door. The worst is the gouges and scuffs added to my nice hardwood railings. I suspect that to save time the workers may have thrown the carpets up over the open upper railings instead of actually walking up with it, scratching the heck out of the nice finish. The corner of one post is now completely missing and another post has damage as well. When the person who is apparently in charge of the installation crew came to took at it, it seemed like he couldn't care less. I was told in a very condescending tone, "CARPET IS BIG AND THE BACK IS ABRASIVE - things are going to happen." WOW. I guess I thought I was hiring professionals who would not be scraping this abrasive carpet over my nice handrails and would use some care when working. You're now warned that is apparently not what you can expect from this company. I did document the condition before the install and they said someone would come out to do repairs. I'll update the rating based on how that goes, but I'm currently pretty disappointed overall. read more

Pricing was decent and they'll come out to your home to measure/ show you samples for free. Installation was on-time and top notch. 0% financing through Wells Fargo was easy and convenient. If anything, I was disappointed that I was quoted too many boxes of flooring and too many trim pieces that couldn't/ weren't used but that the store refused to refund even though they were stock items (not special orders). Next time I'll keep this in mind and be more careful, but I wouldn't hesitate to use Next Day Floors in Dundalk again. I love my new floors! read more

LVF installed September 2019. On December 12, 2019, I submitted my first report about the flooring lifting. Even after three inspections, including an independent inspection that showed the problem to be a manufacturing defect (not an install error; not a customer error), finally on Saturday, October 10, 2020, yes, after 10 months of emails, BBB involvement, etc., the replacement flooring was installed. Even taking the pandemic into consideration, this is an unacceptable amount of time to resolve a problem that should have been resolved within a few weeks from the date of the inspection report. I have nothing but positive things to say about the installer of the original flooring and the gentleman who installed the replacement flooring. I am just going to leave it at that. read more

Dishonest company and terrible product. Had hardwoods installed and had issues on day one. Wood was splitting and peeling, and the install was simply botched. Manager came out and inspected, recognized the faulty product and promised to fix it. Never happened. The company refused to follow through and I'm stuck with a damaged floor that cost thousands. We really love the product we got from next day floors. The installers we're absolutely awesome did a great job and we're super efficient. When it came to the salesman he wasn't bad in person. When it came time to try to get things scheduled he was really hard to get a hold of and consistently drop the ball on returning calls and letting us know what was going on. We decided to go ahead with them and he asked for half down. No problem, except he ran the card twice and we were charged twice upfront. It seems to me once you agree on the service the sales person really doesn't care about any sort of follow up after that. Luckily the product and the installers were great. read more

I scheduled an appointment for 11 a.m. for a measurement leaving the clerk two numbers to reach me. On the day of the appointment I never recieved a call saying someone would be coming out. When I called the store I found out that the clerk never took down my contract information and they were not planning to send someone out. After talking to a manager, I was informed that I could have someone come out sometime in the afternoon, no actually time to get the measurement done. We recently purchased new carpet for our living room, dining room, hall and stairs from Next Day Floors located at 12 E. Ordnance Road in Glen Burnie Maryland 21060. After looking at and considering several different types and colors of carpet we purchased Mohawk's "SmartStrand". SmartStrand is a relatively new type of carpet material and is said to be more durable, easier to clean and maintain than some older carpet materials. We dealt with Joe Clark, the store manager. He treated us with courtesy, respect, and patience. He took the time to discuss the variety of current carpet materials, weaves, padding and so forth. He did not pressure us in any way and gave us samples to bring home to view in our house. We believe that with his help we made an informed purchase. We were able to take advantage of a sale going on at the time of purchase and received a good deal. Once we made a decision on our carpet, we explained to Joe we would need some time to prepare our house for the installation. Again, we did not receive any pressure. We were allowed as much time as we needed. Once an installation date and time was set, the two man installation team of Elmer and Cleaver arrived on time and worked steadily. They were respectful to us, our furniture, and our house. They did an excellent job and the finished product looks terrific. We give high marks to Next Day Floors for their treatment of us during the sales process to the completion of the installation. I had such horrible service with a big box home improvement store that I gave up, took the sample to Bill's and said, "I would like something like this for a reasonable price without being taken to the cleaners!" They were able to pick out a similar carpet, came out to measure in a timely manner that fit with my schedule, and provided me with additional options to meet my price range. While we had some trouble with the carpet manufacturer and production dates (no fault of Bill's Carpet Fair), they were super responsive and courteous while we worked out the situation. The installers arrive a few minute early, addressed any questions I had, and went to work. They were in and out of there in no time, the carpet looked fantastic and all I had to do was run a vacuum over it. I couldn't be more pleased with the product, the price, and the service I received from Bill's. This is how customer service should be. Every stage of the process was smooth and handled with the utmost professionalism. I decided on EVP flooring for my renovation. I initially spoke with Joe. He does a phenomenal job not only explaining the process but has an immense knowledge of the products. I eventually set up a in home measurement/consultation conducted by Marty. I was upfront that I am meticulous in procuring a number of bids before making a purchase. Unlike 50 floors and others, I didn't feel pressure to make a decision. Didn't get the "I can give you this deal for today only" line. Didn't get the "well let me talk to my manager before I go" BS. He gave me a bid and they never pressured me thereafter. I came back later after narrowing a few places down. I let Marty know and we negotiated a fair price. Rather than go back and forth between places, I had such a positive experience, I gave him my business right then. I'm big on rapport and I felt confident the process would be smooth. This continued throughout the installation process. They arrived ON TIME. They explained everything. Completed my 2 day job in 1 day. Everything look good and they cleaned up afterwards.
