Seriously.... u cannot find anyone better. At 12 midnight, I dropped a message hoping my last minute quest of searching MC for my daughter's 6th bday party. He replied in instant! Quest ended in less than 5mins. Yes, odd for a toddler bday to have an MC but there were 140 people and we needed someone to lead the party. Alexsei came earlier than us preparing for the party. He even went out of his way to bring a red carpet for the photo zone. I requested him to play some funny games he probably never heard of but he managed to pull it off like it was his. We had 7 dwarfs and my daughter was the snow white. He made all 7 dwarfs dancing to the beat and little kids followed them. Great choice of music tok. We hired DJ from Chebeliuk Entertainment for our birthday on January 12. A venue where we were planing the event already had a DJ service but we were not sure yet about it. One of our friends told us about Chebeliuk Entertainment and their DJ packages. It's not expensive by the way to compare to Los Angeles prices. We scheduled a meeting with DJ, he was nice, knowledgeable and very helpful. Not only he knew his job but he also gave us a few tips about our birthday. We decided to hire him. The birthday went so good, our guests had so much fun and we couldn't stop dancing. He knows how to keep the crowd dancing and enjoying the party. We had everything - the guest list, the house, the catering, and the only dilemma that was left on my checklist, was the entertainment for my guests! This accordion guy. What can I say here? We had a Christmas party on December 27th in San Pedro. Our grandmother used to play an accordion and we really wanted to hire an accordionist. Both the DJ and the MC of the Chebeliuk Entertainment showed their great thoroughness when preparing for our wedding here in LA. The company also has the vendors they usually work with but we went with our photo and video company because we already booked them. Chebeliuk Entertainment was in touch 24/7 and always responded on all my text and calls about my wedding. Yes, as a bride I always had the questions The DJ was attentive to the request of picking up the movie songs for our thematic 'cinema' wedding just the way we wanted, was willing to help with the selection of different film themes and was extremely creative, in general! As their prices are quite affordable and the guys are fun to deal with, we decided to book the package with the DJ and the MC -- and we got our money's worth! We wanted our wedding to be musical but minimalistic. The DJ made just a wonderful selection of the songs from the movies like The Godfather, Titanic, Arizona's dream and so on. And what made us that glad - the MC Alexei is very knowledgeable in what he does. He did the grand entrance, played accordion for our first dance, announced the toasts and did some games to get the guests together. We never have seen the wedding like this. Soon after deciding on the place and the general idea for the wedding, my husband and I got struck with what to do next. Initially, we wanted to put all our forces into the following honeymoon but sparing our time and forces on the event itself. We basically didn't know what should be done with the guest accommodation, greeting ourselves with marriage, sound accompaniment, making the party "flow" and so on. The day before, I only had some vague idea of what songs should be played at all, as my husband and I already spent much time and forces on other wedding things besides that. It turned out the DJ was not only familiar with all "wedding" music trends but could pick up exact things that we personally felt we need. Like, I couldn't stand all popular hits and plus, my father-in-law wanted to have something "that would remind him Israel" at the event. Hiring a DJ for the birthday party was my unrealizable, long-ago dream. I used to play music in my prep school and as a teenager, was often trying to make a small family party with a cheap DJ controller, practicing and depicting the actual professional. I would like to thank Alex for playing accordion at my dad's birthday! He came an hour before the event started and did soundcheck. I was very busy and had no time to introduce him to a manager of the restaurant and the other vendors but he did all of that by himself. He is charming, kind, easy to work with and very professional musician. My father used to play and teach accordion in Los Angeles so I really wanted to surprise him. We also had a band that was playing some jazz standards while he was on a break. So on the second performance he offered to the band to play a few songs together and it was amazing. My parents had 35th anniversary on January 8th. My mom was born in Germany so she wanted to hire someone who can play the German songs from 40th. There is so many wedding DJs and MCs in LA and it is not easy to choose the one you like. We had our wedding at the Allure Banquet Hall in Van Nuys with DJ and MC by Chebeliuk Entertainment. They are based in Los Angeles company and have a lot of nice reviews. They were very accommodating to our particular needs and very knowledgable. We had an international wedding with half of our guests coming from Europe and Latin America. I would say the DJ and MC are one of the most important vendors because they control a lot of the schedule and MC Aleksei was the one who announced all the entrances, toasts, he also did some games. I would say they explained everything to me clearly and even created a timeline for my event. Anyway, at my birthday DJ came 2 hours before the event and did the set up.
