When I got engaged, I asked my married girlfriends for advice on planning a wedding. It was fun; it was bright; and Kenzie captured exactly who we were as a couple. Even with the partial planning package, Kenzie helped us pick our vendors without a problem and was available for any of our crazy questions throughout our entire 1.5 year engagement. On the day of, the Darling team set up the venue FLAWLESSLY and then stayed the entire night while the wedding continued on, making sure both the bride, groom, and their families were taken care of. Kenzie went above and beyond the call of wedding planner duty to make our day the most special. I worked with Aubrey for about a year and a half for full-service wedding planning. Before I even picked a venue or a date, I hired Details, Darling and it was one of the best decisions I made throughout the whole process! Aubrey was truly my right hand woman every step along the way. I could always rely on her to give me a truthful opinion, come up with creative solutions, and support me when I was feeling frustrated with the process. My husband and I worked with Kenzie at Details, Darling for our October 2020 Palm Springs wedding. Kenzie swooped in for partial planning after we had to let go of another planner who was dropping the ball. Kenzie quickly aligned on the status of everything, understood our vision, and moved to make our wedding happen. She picked up our conversations with vendors, she translated our style into a gorgeous design (with an upcoming blog feature!), and smoothly executed all of the details. Kenzie's creativity, professionalism, positivity, collaboration, and proactivity allowed us to actually enjoy that amazing season in our lives. Many times throughout, with the weight of the global pandemic weighing on us as we dealt with downsizing, restrictions etc, I would ask Kenzie in a panic: "Is our wedding gonna happen? Are we gonna be okay?" and Kenzie would always smile and say "I'm not worried at all". Aubrey was my wedding planner for our wedding this past July. I used her full coordination service and I would not have had the wedding we did with out her. She took all my random thoughts and style ideas and made them make sense. I started working with Aubrey after I found my venue and I honestly wish I found her sooner. She is so well connected and has so many great ideas. I never felt insecure about anything that was going on during the whole process. She never pressured me to spend more money and gave me options. The day of the wedding I could really see how much she loves her job, everything was so organized and beautiful. She added so many sweet little touches, with even just how the napkins were placed. I wish I had more time to take it all in. I was lucky to have the privilege to see everything before guests arrived because we did a first look and I just about died. Everything that Aubrey and her dream team did for our wedding was amazing I could go on and on. One very small touch that meant a lot to me was that the night before the wedding she asked my mom what side of the aisle she would like to sit on. I know this sounds silly, but it truly made my mom feel so special. I think Aubrey could tell I wanted my mom to feel involved, she lives out of state and this really touched her to be given the choice. Alessandra was absolutely amazing. I seriously would have lost my mind if I didn't have her helping me. She reached out right after I booked them and kept in contact with me throughout the wedding process. I hired Details, Darling for day of/ month of service and it was totally worth it. Any time I needed recommendations for vendors or throwing out weird ideas for the wedding, she was quick to respond and gave me many options for vendors. After I would book vendors, I would email Alessandra the information and she took over from there. They made me a stress-free bride... I know... Unheard of!!! The day before the wedding, she explained everything that would happen on the day-of to the whole wedding party and was very thorough with the rehearsal. Day of wedding- her and Ashley (her assistant) were amazing. My parents house was in Poway and it was HOT... but they were outside in the sun, making sure everything was perfect. They even helped nail down the runner.... like what?!?! Since my wedding had both the ceremony and reception at the same venue, they had to perform a switch halfway through the evening. I recently worked with Monica from Details Darling to help me plan my wedding. Monica was amazing! She helped me plan every aspect from organizing all my vendors to addressing my invitations (she is amazing at calligraphy!). I have to say that Details Darling was the best vendor I used for my wedding. I did not have a vision of what I wanted for my wedding. Monica got to know me and what I liked. She created an absolutely beautiful theme for my wedding that was perfectly tailored for my husband and me. She reminded me weekly of all the things I need to accomplish that week for the wedding. She helped me pick out vendors from my late night snack and dessert to my photo booth and officiant. She was always available to talk whether by email, text or call. She offered suggestions and was a great sounding board. The month before my wedding things got a lot more hectic. Monica was there to organize and remind me of all the little details that were important for the day of my wedding. She helped me with my welcome bags. My venue was a challenge to work for and Monica worked with them flawlessly. She was not only reminding me of the things I needed to do, she was working behind the scenes coordinating with my venue and all my vendors to make sure my day was perfect. I can't say enough great things about Details Darling, and specifically Kenzie, who was the planner for our wedding last month. We worked closely with her for almost a year leading up to our day, and she brought the most creative, thoughtful, calming energy to the planning process. She was incredibly responsive to every email and text, and reassured all of my concerns with confidence. When we ran into issues with our venue, she went out of her way to go to Palm Springs with me and meet with the venue team to ensure all of my questions were answered. I'm an event professional based in Highland Park and we had the pleasure of working with Aubrey and the Details Darling team at our venue a couple of weeks ago. Not only was Aubrey extremely responsive and organized, but when there was a city-wide power outage the day of the wedding that caused us to make some last-minute changes, she remained calm and upbeat and rolled with the punches. Not only did the wedding go off without a hitch (and luckily the power came back on just in time!) Aubrey made sure to check in with all of the couples' vendors throughout the event to make sure they were all where they needed to be at the appropriate times. I had the pleasure of working with Mackenzie and Monica of details darling on our wedding this past weekend in Palm Springs. I cannot say enough good things about the design and experience. Where do I start? I was looking for help mostly with the overall design of our wedding but decided to go with the full wedding coordination package. From our first meeting, we felt she heard all our wants, wishes and concerns, and carried them through the entire 10 month process. We didn't want a traditional wedding, and she suggested many ideas that were unique yet still fit our personalities. She kept us on schedule even though I keep a super busy work schedule, often times traveling in other countries. She made fantastic vendor suggestions for the DJ, florist, graphic designer, caterer, photographer, etc. it was often hard to choose one. And everyone was incredibly professional and fun, which adds to the overall energy of the day. On the day of the wedding, everything went seamlessly. The general consensus from the guests was that it was the best wedding they've attended. My partner and I were so incredibly impressed with the design, coordination, details and fun they made our wedding. The guests commented on how friendly and helpful the service was. I never once worried about something happening or not happening. Mackenzie and Monica ran a tight ship with a smile. My partner and I both work in film production and understand how stressful running an event can be, and appreciated how Mackenzie and Monica handled everything with ease.
