They emceed perfectly, got everyone's names right, and had the timeline going so smoothly. I appreciate that they took the time to make sure they pronounce our guest's table names correctly. We used county names from Ireland for each table. Some these names are difficult to pronounce but they did it perfectly. They played so many great songs and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. My guests raved about what a great time they had and we owe it all to Digital Axis. Thanks Guys!! I hired Valentino for my wedding on 4/25/15. Working with him from beginning to end was a great pleasure. As someone who loves to dance, finding a DJ for my wedding was one, if not the most important thing for me. I kept meeting and speaking with different DJs but was never completely satisfied, they were missing one thing or another (in my preference). The initial phone conversation with Valentino was enough for me to seal the deal. Upon explaining to Valentino of what I wanted for my wedding, he took the words out of my mouth, like he knew exactly what I was looking for and that made me confident that he was the one I had to hire. Well, I'm so glad I made that decision. Valentino and his partner Carlos did a AMAZING job at my wedding. I requested their services be bilingual, in English and Spanish and that's exactly what we got. Valentino and Carlos coordinated well to make this happen. Valentino helped create a timeline, he gave ideas and suggestions. They helped combine 2 songs in to 1 for our 1st dance, every song we chose for our cake cutting, special dances, garter/bouquet toss, were played. The day of the wedding they both made sure everything went as planned and according to my time line. We had little things pop up that messed with the schedule here and there, but Carlos was prompt to come up with ideas and suggestions to help move on and not run behind schedule, my main goal was to hurry and begin the dancing, I don't know what I would have done had they not been there to help and make things go smoother. The MUSIC.... It was great!!!! My guests had a great time, my husand and I had a great time, as well as our 8 yr old son and my little nephews and cousins were having a blast on the dance floor! As mentioned by other yelp reviewers, Valentino really knows how to read the crowd. One funny thing, Valentino played the famous "Caballo Dorado" song. When I met with Valentino I forgot to tell him to DON'T play that song because I didn't want to waste time dancing THAT long song lol. So we are dancing away and that song comes on...Well what do you know, EVERYONE is on the dance floor, including ME!!! Haha I couldnt help it, it was so much fun and I am soooo glad he played it, just a example of how Valentino was able read the crowd and give us something that would keep us going and have fun! Valentino with Digital Axis is super awesome!! Four weeks before my daughters Sweet 16, I found myself without a DJ. I quickly took to Yelp for assistance. I looked at other DJ's in the area and found the reviews for Digital Axis to be the best. After a quick prayer, I called Digital Axis and spoke with Valentino. We hit it off immediately. I liked the way he presented his business to me and I felt comfortable with his offer, and thankful for his availability. We met to discuss songs for the evening and the timeline, especially for the special events, such as, the changing of the shoes, father/daughter dance, and the candle lighting ceremony. Valentino was spot on every time. When it came to free dance, the floor was full all night!! The song transition from top 40 to free style, to mariachi, to old school, was perfect! Valentino is truly a professional and an expert at what he does. I will forever be grateful to him, and will definitely keep him for future events... At the beginning of the year, I will be planning our 25th wedding anniversary and will definitely be calling Digital Axis back as my DJ of choice! read more
