First of all, he saved us by bringing extra speakers/microphone for our stage which is used to MC the event (literally at the last minute), as someone else cancelled unexpectedly the night before. Some of the children are quite reserved, but Les got out there, played some PG-rated music, and got all the kids dancing! The event had a Star Wars theme, so he played John Williams/Star Wars music as the kids did their walk, which made everyone smile! He announced the teams as they passed the DJ booth, he announced auction items throughout the event to help make more money for a great cause (Epilepsy Education/Awareness), he thanked our sponsors often, and he took requests from the kids.
