This review is long overdue but well worth the wait!…read more DJ CHRIS SMOOTH played for my birthday party over a year ago and for my daughter's birthday party 2 years ago. Can I just say......INCREDIBLE!!! For my birthday party, he was so accommodating with my requested song list. While some may say this is not an indicator of a great DJ, I beg to differ - especially when you're talking a milestone birthday party. Some of the songs I requested are quirky and, well, a bit campy. He did a fantastic job of fusing these in with other popular dance songs - enough to keep all the girls on the dance floor all night long. My legs were sore by the end of the night and I now have an amazing collection of pictures to reflect on the memories;) For my daughter's birthday party, he rocked the house with deep house fused with popular dance tunes that drove the kids crazy all night long! Those kids were losing their minds, jumping up and down in their "glow-in-the-dark" party gear. It was a "pre-teen" rave right in my living room (perhaps a reflection of my former self....hmmmmm). Sayje was the "coolest" kid in the neighborhood after that event. He is professional, hard-working, and never gives you the impression that he "just wants to leave." I confidently recommend him for ANY event. Keep rockin it DJ CHRIS SMOOTH!!!!

My husband and I just got married this month and spent a year and a half planning our wedding. We…read morelove deep house music and wanted a really good house/EDM DJ for our wedding. When we were planning, we wanted to splurge on two things: a great venue with an epic view and delicious food, and the best DJ we could find so that we could dance all night. We hired Kevin to DJ our wedding because he came highly recommended and after listening to his sets on SoundCloud, it was a no brainer!! He came to set up at our wedding in Dana Point on time (actually early!) and played every single song we had requested, but also included some of his own music to keep things interesting and to keep everyone dancing. We got so many compliments from our guests, even our photographers on how awesome of a DJ he was!!! Our photographer said, "We have done a lot of weddings and your DJ is too good.. he's not a wedding DJ!" Haha! Even though the wedding was 2 weeks ago, our guests are still telling us that they're having wedding withdrawals because it was just too fun. If you're looking for a DJ who knows his music (deep house, chill house, EDM, even hip hop), Kevin is your man!!! He's very responsive, answered all my questions before and even during the wedding, and prices are also very reasonable!!

Kevin Brown DJ'd my Class of 2007 10-Year Reunion and it was a blast!…read more What I liked most about working with Kevin was how professional and smoothly all of our interactions went. All texts, emails and phone calls were returned promptly. He really did everything to make sure the reunion committee members and I felt comfortable that the audio aspect of our event was going to be handled well. This was so valuable, especially when there's so many other aspects of event planning that we had to stress about! On the day of the event, they were on time and were able to give the crowd exactly what they wanted. Their equipment set up looked great, the music filled the room and the lights really made the banquet hall look like a real party! I remember looking around at some point and seeing every single person in the room on the dance floor! He knew when to play the 2007 throwbacks and when the crowd craved for something a little more 2017. He and his team really knew how to feel out the crowd. The following day, we were flooded with messages from guests saying how much of a fun time they had. All in all, I'd say these guys really know what they're doing. I'd totally hire them to DJ my next event in a heartbeat!

Everything was seamless and the wedding was more perfect than anything we could have imagined!! We would recommend DJ 33 to anybody looking for an awesome, fun, and hard working DJ! Easily 5 stars!!

DJ Ernie M is a life saver!…read more I planned my high school reunion and had a DJ lined up and they ended up canceling a week before the event(that's a whole nother story) The only good thing that came out of this was DJ ERNIE M! He filled in last minute and I was scared and cynical at first because I had never talked to him or knew anything about him. He called me and assured me everything was going to work out and he made me feel better about hiring someone on such short notice. All I knew was I needed someone quick, someone affordable and talented and he definitely exceeded my expectations!!! He was easy to communicate with and puts his clients first and cares about what music you want to hear and arrived on time to the event and set up and provided lighting, and a mic if needed. Something I really care about is integrity and realness especially when working with people you do not necessarily know what to expect from and DJ Ernie is honest and his customer service is beyond amazing! He has been DJing for over 10 years and his wife(who is a complete sweetheart!) is also starting up her photography business so I think they are starting a combined company soon with all the works! They are both stand up people and I will most likely use them for all my future events to come!!! Thank you so much Dr. Ernie M And Daniela!

In addition to being thorough and helpful prior to the wedding, Ben is excellent at keeping the day moving and feeling the vibe of the group for the proper tunes at the proper times. Ben has a lot of experience with our late-20s, early-30s age group, so he had a lot of good music that appealed to the group. Ben's experience with arranging wedding music and generally MCing receptions was very helpful as he made suggestions for timing and order of events that made total sense for our wedding. Our favorite thing about Ben was that we felt very comfortable handing our event over to him in terms of MCing. He knew what to do, when to do it, and was very respectful when approaching the bride or me in asking for directions. Everything was smooth thanks to his event management. Ben is the perfect MC to know when to speak more and when to remain in the background. He is very respectful with the microphone. One last note: always let Ben lead a dance or two! He's got some tricks up his sleeve that any crowd will love, like the Cowboy Macarena!

I was most impressed because when I hired him he asked for a play list and my daughter said "have him play similar music to the other party". Even though the parties were two months apart he had taken notes and went back to see what had worked and what hadn't and made a plan for my daughter's party. Additionally, he knows how to read the crowd and play songs they want to hear and dance to. The kids LOVED him! He was professional to work with, communicated well and arrived on time. You can tell he loves what he does because he was laughing and smiling with the kids during the party and was fully engaged in his job. Highly recommend!
