My dog just loves when we pull up in front & can't wait to go see his friends! I told her we may have family coming to stay at our house while we are away so it's still up in the air. I wanted to provide the dates just to cover all my basis and not have to worry about them being booked and she assured me it will be fine if I just call within the next couple weeks. She didn't even want to hear the dates!! Couple weeks later (today) I call and say we still don't know for sure if they are coming but at this point I'm not counting on it and to book the given dates. Stacey now tells me she can only accommodate a few of the days out of the almost 3 weeks because they are booked. I said you assured me I'd be fine in July if I just called back and her response is "it's been booked" She also told me she only boards dogs that go to daycare there...my dogs have been going to daycare there for years. They aren't regulars anymore like they were before Stacey took over because my husband now works from home and it's not needed. I will be writing reviews like this on all her platforms. If having your money mishandled bothers you, then maybe look at other options... On 3 separate occasions, we paid cash per diem upon AM dropoff...and on *all three* of those occasions, an evening staff person was in touch looking for duplicate payment. Becca was great in resolving the second instance - but in fairness, I said if it happened a third time you've lost us - and now here we are. The third time (8/8), we even put the cash in an envelope with our dog's name (as instructed)...and we're still getting "where's your payment" texts. Great lesson in mismanaging the cash drawer. Textbook ineptitude, and lack of communication between AM and PM shift. Nice work losing a customer...came here after Paws Off Leash closed, time to look again. Ask for a receipt!

We originally had our first dog Casey start back in 2011. We loved the original daycare and we still very much love Country Canine Retreat with our 2nd dog, Dolly. Dolly is a rescue and had some baggage come with her at 4 months old in 2016 (or so). She has some sass, she's a bit bossy, loves her cuddle time, belly rubs and has enough energy to keep the lights on at the Boston Garden and Patriot's Place! The staff has done an excellent job keeping her busy, entertained, engaged throughout the 5 days a week. She plays with several dogs throughout the day. She loves CCR, recognizes all the staff and comes home sometimes with even more energy at (almost) 11 years old. By Friday, she is one tired happy dog. I love talking with the staff and owner. They are kind, considerate, knowledgeable. I trust them completely. I cannot imagine Dolly going anywhere else.

When our first dog got old, there was a point when they recommended we don't board her. We ended up changing our vacation to bring her with us instead. Not only did we get more quality time with her, but we gained the confidence that our kennel cared about her. Over the years they have reliably fed special diets, medications, and dealt with psychological quirks that a couple of our rescued dogs have had. Our dogs go in happily and come back happily. They have always been healthy in return, which i credit to their strict vaccination policy and quality kibble. - photo is not from the kennel, just dog tax :)

We were boarding our morkie here for nearly 12 years due to its close proximity. Despite the staff being extremely rude and unfriendly, our dog appeared generally happy during short 2-3 day stays. However, we noticed that during longer stays, her feet were usually soiled and hair was matted with a foul odor. We immediately moved her to a more cleanly kennel for long periods of boarding. Additionally, when she was about 14.5 years old, the owner abruptly refused to continue boarding her for short stays simply stating in a very crass manner that she was too old without providing any explanation for this conclusion. Overall, the staff are extremely unprofessional and have little care for their boarders.

We had checked out a bunch of doggie day cares and then finally we checked out K9 Kamp. When we got there and met John instantly we felt comfortable leaving Cooper with him. He scooped Coop up and gave a big hug and checked him out, cut his nails and brushed him. I knew when we left him there he would be loved but kept in line. The daycare is super clean, John is a neat freak. He is always cleaning everything and doing some task when you are picking up or dropping off your dog. The place is huge and the dogs have a lot of area to run around in. There is also a huge heated area that has hammocks and places for the dogs to lay inside on cold or rainy days. Also, Cooper gets a bath every week and he comes home every Friday fresh clean. Cooper has now been going here for almost two years and he loves it. We now have a baby so I am home but we still bring Cooper there most days because he loves it so much and gets all his energy out. He gets so excited when we turn into the K9 Kamp drive way, if his window is open he has jumped out the window and runs to the gate or John, that is how much he loves going here. We love K9 Kamp and John and we highly recommend bringing your doggie here!
