During Christmas, staff were passing out beanies and some Christmas goodies but again mainly for the children. There were candies cane, Santa, and some small drinks. For Lunar New Year - the children receive red horses in 2026 Year of the Red Horse that won't come again for another 60 years! Adults and Children got red envelopes $2!!:)) Happy Lemon was passing out drink but OMG the line was long so we skipped. The line is LONG but first come first serve basic. Free stuff run out fast so come 30 minutes early. There are foods, coffee, ice cream in the plaza but again it is CROWDED during event times! Parking - if you arrive early, there's parking in the Regal parking lot. If you arrive late, it best to Park across the street where 24 Hours Fitness is located.

Over the years, thankfully they have added one to slightly streamline outgoing traffic. In recent years they've added an exit leading into alley that leads out onto Barranca Pkwy. Non-likes: - Bad traffic. Many entitled drivers cut the wait at the stop intersections. Drive slowly and be careful. - Sometimes pedestrians cross without looking both ways first.

Overall a nice shopping destination but it's smaller with fewer product varieties within the stores.

It was over 100 degrees today and we wanted to walk our little corgi around the mall because it was too hot to be walking our dog outside. Walking outside in that weather or even anything over 80 degrees is dangerous to dogs, they can have heat strokes or severe burns on their paws. We never had problems walking our pup at indoor malls. On many occasions coming here to do errands I would see others bring their pups, so today I brought mine with my fiancé to go shopping and spend family time together. Our dog is small and well behaved, he doesn't bark and if he does it's usually because he's super excited. Sales associates and kids we passed by loved him and petted him. He was being a good boy. However, we were told to leave the property by atleast 4 security guards, all within 5 minutes! So ridiculous. Even as we were leaving we kept getting stopped by one asking us to leave. I don't understand the harshness of these guards, do they not know it's literally scorching outside? I get dogs are not allowed here but I've seen many times people bring their dogs. Why target us? It's not a higher end mall like South Coast Plaza or Del Amo, or even the Santa Anita Mall, but it's not dead like the PH Mall or absolutely disgusting like the Lakewood Mall. I'd say it's more like a more alive West Covina Mall if anything, and most like the Stonestown Galleria in SF. This probably makes no sense to anyone unless they've been to these malls, lol, but if it's a measuring scale for anything. Plenty of parking all around the mall, I had no issues turning in from the main road and finding parking immediately. There's lots of seating at this mall and even when there's empty stores and dead mall space, they use it for photo opportunities, or WiFi lounge areas which is nice. I will admit that the mall is pretty dated and aged looking, but it's not disgusting (I keep throwing the Lakewood mall under the bus, but my god lol). Decent selection of stores including an FYE (fun!), a couple miscellaneous weeb stores, a theater, a Round 1, a bargain bookstore (awesome, I haven't seen these in awhile), Boudin SF (rare pull), Hot Topic, Box Lunch, BBW, Lollicup Fresh (also haven't seen these in awhile), a Pepper Lunch (coming soon, nice), and a food court that is alive and functioning. I think all this mall needs is like a Daiso or Miniso and a cosmetic shop like ShibuyaLA or maybe a Sephora?? But then I feel like I'm lowkey replicating the Santa Anita mall, LOL. Portola Coffee is still the longstanding purveyor of fine caffeinated drinks. We Olive bar has a bevy of beverages. Palm and Patties burgers is a favorite of my foodie coworkers and me. Then we frequent Sunright, the boba tea shop.
