It's a very practical neighborhood shopping center -- a convenient one-stop spot with everyday essentials, restaurants, and new stores currently under construction. I'd encourage people to continue supporting it. Not every shopping center needs to be a major destination like the Irvine Spectrum. There's value in having diversity in shopping options and experiences, especially places that simply serve the daily needs of the surrounding community. Then you have the expanded Trader Joe's and a Sprouts sharing a common parking lot, so all your food needs are met. Ulta has returned, but to the same place Party City was. Overall, the mall is coming back to life, even though the indoor mall is gone. A couple of things to know. You can't drive the length of the place in the back anymore, as the property, once owned by JCPenney, is completely fenced in, blocking your path and at least the old entrance to the back parking lot. The other is that even though there's a sign that says "Panda Mart", there is zero activity when you look inside the store. Sears still owns that property and building, so that's on them. In fact, if you walk down the path between Home Goods and 24 Hour Fitness, you'll see all that is left of the old mall. That's because Sears owns that section and didn't opt to tear it down. Between Home Goods, Walmart, and some food eateries, I find myself coming here more often than I realized. Maybe not as much when there was a full indoor mall, but not by much. BTW: If you go to their website (as of this review), it looks like they didn't renew their hosting agreement, so it's gone. That's a bummer because the map always showed what was coming soon.

The person at the register didn't quite know how to process my situation so she contacted her manager. Cameron came out and it took him a bit to figure out how to process everything but he did it!! Not only did he do it, he went over and above what the store policy allowed and made everything work out perfectly! Thank you Cameron for being absolutely amazing!

The items were in good condition and had never been worn outside, as they turned out to be uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the cashier, Renan, and the store manager, Bina, informed me that my items could not be returned. I found both employees to be dismissive, rude, and unwilling to understand my situation. Their explanation was that the items could not be resold, despite the fact that they had not been used. I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received. A little empathy and professionalism would have gone a long way. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location. Nordstrom, please do better when it comes to customer service and employee training.

It's not a higher end mall like South Coast Plaza or Del Amo, or even the Santa Anita Mall, but it's not dead like the PH Mall or absolutely disgusting like the Lakewood Mall. I'd say it's more like a more alive West Covina Mall if anything, and most like the Stonestown Galleria in SF. This probably makes no sense to anyone unless they've been to these malls, lol, but if it's a measuring scale for anything. Plenty of parking all around the mall, I had no issues turning in from the main road and finding parking immediately. There's lots of seating at this mall and even when there's empty stores and dead mall space, they use it for photo opportunities, or WiFi lounge areas which is nice. I will admit that the mall is pretty dated and aged looking, but it's not disgusting (I keep throwing the Lakewood mall under the bus, but my god lol). Decent selection of stores including an FYE (fun!), a couple miscellaneous weeb stores, a theater, a Round 1, a bargain bookstore (awesome, I haven't seen these in awhile), Boudin SF (rare pull), Hot Topic, Box Lunch, BBW, Lollicup Fresh (also haven't seen these in awhile), a Pepper Lunch (coming soon, nice), and a food court that is alive and functioning. I think all this mall needs is like a Daiso or Miniso and a cosmetic shop like ShibuyaLA or maybe a Sephora?? But then I feel like I'm lowkey replicating the Santa Anita mall, LOL. Overall not bad, it does the job, it's a living mall, and it's improving!
