We had Mr Miller install a Generac generator and we found his pricing and service to be the best…read more He does the work himself so you aren't dealing with employees that may or may not care. VERY PROFESSIONAL! We had asked for a bid from another local company and they wanted $7000 up front without lifting a finger! Mr Miller definitely deserves 5 stars!!!

I highly recommend CMCO due to price, knowledge, and customer service…read more Cameron installed ground-mounted solar for our newly constructed home west of Roseville. It's a large, 16kw system, so we researched it heavily and received 4 quotes. Cameron's pricing was the best (beware one outlier quoted almost double everyone else), but my recommendation isn't just price driven. -Cameron is a former electrician who had worked with my general contractor in that capacity on prior builds. His knowledge is way beyond that of the typical solar salesperson. -His recommendation on the type of system lined up with my research, but he was willing to supply other systems as well. Two other salespeople provided false information because they were pushing only one type of system. -Cameron actually handles the installation! In building a home you encounter lots of issues where the people showing up to do the work fail you because they either don't care or didn't communicate with the owner (or it's a blatant bait and switch). We had zero issues here. Cameron was one of the easiest people to work with in the 9 month building process. -Cameron's follow through was amazing. Getting paperwork finalized with Placer County and PG&E became difficult, partly due to the pandemic. Cameron stayed after them to complete the process. In short, working with CMCO Electric & Solar was one of the best experiences throughout our home build and I would gladly recommend them to anyone. In fact, I already recommended my parents to them for a Generac backup generator, which went very well, at a price and install time superior to other quotes.

American Energy Home Pros is a great company and they now are offering plumbing repairs as well. I…read morecalled them today because my water heater was leaking water and I thought I would have to completely replace the whole unit. They sent their Plumber Anthony out the same afternoon and he was able to repair the leak which was in a waterline and I did not have to replace the whole water heater. He could very easily have told me I needed a whole new unit, but he was so honest and told me it only needed a repair which save me a lot of money. I highly recommend this company. They are honest and fair with their pricing. Thank you Lana L.

Note: I've posted this same review on Google Reviews…read more American Energy was one of three companies who priced my project. I met with the owner Mathew McGuire, who I found to be friendly, sincere, and someone who is vested in his business, his people, and working to ensure that he wins life-long customers with every job. I had done a lot of research with AI, so I knew my options well (that research was very helpful and I'd highly recommend doing it in advance of having people out to give you pricing). I had no intention of beating up each of the companies, I simply asked for their best pricing and options. I used AI to carefully review each bid in detail, including the proposed equipment and how appropriate it was for our home. All companies gave solid bids, but there was a very large spread between the highest and lowest. That usually concerns me, but all my research about American Energy indicated that they were a solid, competitive company. It was a big investment, but I ended up converting to an electric heat pump and also getting all our ducting replaced. We have a 2750 sf single-story home with 17 vents, so the new ducting was nearly as much as the system itself. That said, the ducting has made so much difference in terms of balancing the temperature throughout the house, which was a real probelm with the old system. The new system is extremely quiet and maintains a consistent temp throughout the day--and we've had some extremely hot days since it's been installed. American Energy's installers were all very friendly and professional, and did a great jobs with prep and clean-up each day they were here (the initial install took two days). There were a couple minor issues after the install was complete which required two follow-up appointments. One was a equipment issue that required Carrier to provide a replacement part, but Carrier was responsive and quickly provided it. For the additional follow-up appointments, their scheduling person as professional, courteous, and accommodating. In fact, she went out of her way over a weekend to re-schedule an appointment that was supposed to happen on a Monday morning. To me the company has to be a good one to A.) get that kind of diligence out of employees, and B.) to keep those kind of employees. In the end, I'm extremely happy with the system and will gladly subscribe for their annual maintenance contract.
