two slices of pizza on a paper plate

Good for a late night pizza spot. The cheese pizza is on par with other quick slices. For the price of the toppings, I would have expected more than a few pieces of lukewarm broccoli sat on top of the pizza.

During our college tour of UNC Greensboro we decided to stop in and have lunch. My co-worker is a recent graduate and highly recommended this spot. He said definitely get the pizza and an appetizer. So we ordered a 5 piece jalapeño bites for an appetizer and it was pretty good. The ranch sauce was zesty and paired well with the poppers. It was noon and it wasn't crowded. Most of the students had already left for Thanksgiving break. I was told during lunch it would be packed. Thankfully, it wasn't and our pizza came out fairly quick. We ordered 1/2 cheese and 1/2 meat lovers add veggies. The veggies weren't cooked in and were just added on top. The cheese section was delicious though. I took the rest of the pizza home and put in the air fryer and had it for dinner. It was better once the veggies and onions were cooked. My son may be a frequent customer if he decides to attend UNCG!

This Pizzeria is also a bar. It is located next to UNCG campus so it caters more to the college crowd. Even though they are 1 business, their is a separate side entrance for the pizzeria. As soon as you walk in the smell of cigarettes from the bar side hits you. Their are about 6 booths to eat it. The service was slow but then again only 1 person was working. I guess being alone doesn't make you very friendly at all. I did however give it 3 stars because the regular pie & the white pizza we got where both great. Crust was not to thin or thick, just the right amount of cheese & sauce. The white pizza was heavy on the garlic which is perfect for my taste.

Colorful outside of the bar entrance area.

Seems like a great college hangout (live music, cheap beer), but my experience with the food was pretty ordinary. The Italian Sub (6") was very thin on both meat and cheese, and the roll itself was very bready, no crustiness to it at all. The 10" Pepperonia had a nice taste but was thin on the pepperoni, and the crust here is soft, almost soggy. The 10" Veggie was ok, but even soggier than the pepperoni. Might be a cool place to catch a drink or some music, but the food I tried was not a reason to return.

Pizza is delicious, bartender is nuts! Food is cheap and good!

Great pizza - it's delicious! Got one cheese and one pepperoni. Fast service and the food is cheap. Music is loud and the vibe is cool for chillin out!

Ordered delivery from them last night- first off, pizza is crazy expensive everywhere but at disgusting Cici's. Anyhow, we got a medium tomato and pesto, which is a bit more expensive because of how freaking delicious it is. It ran us just under twenty dollars, delivery included. Pizza grease abounds, so if you're into grease intake reduction, be ready to bust out those napkins. It's a great place to stop and grab a slice- maybe two if you're trying to get to their $5 credit minimum. In addition, their bar is always a happening place, and I would be lying if I told you I'd never shared a drink with a great professor there.

Ok another night after a game & looking for a late night meal. The place itself was not the best looking & the service I hate to admit was not the best. I hate to admit but I have a feeling they are probably use to a college. Crowd versus 2 families with a total of 8 ppl coming in late night to eat. We kept it simple 2 pies, one cheese & one white pizza. 2 liters of soda to feed 8 ppl & it was under $40, so it was a good deal. The pizza was SO GOOD, YUMMY, CHEESY & DELICIOUS. It was my first time having white pizza & if you like garlic & I do, this pizza was SCRUMPTIOUS, the flavor, the consistency of the cheese & the crisp of the crust was just to die for good. It's a shame I don't live in Greensboro otherwise I would be getting one right now. Definitely recommend it & trust me... I'm born & raised in NY & I'm definitely going to be going back!!! I would definitely want to try other items on the menu like a calzone.

Apparently the menu doesn't go with the restaurant so they talk to you like you're an idiot.

The vibe here reminds me of "Cheers," where everyone knows your name. The restaurant is in a 1950s renovated service station and was transformed into a neighborhood bar. I like the large glass windows and copper ceiling tiles in the dining area. There is a bar next to the dining area, and some outdoor seating, too. They even have a parking lot in the front and another in the back of the restaurant. You seat yourself, and someone will bring you a menu. Since I discovered this hidden gem a few years ago, when all the other restaurants were closed around New Year's Eve except for Corner Slice and Fisher's Grill, I make a point of returning again and again, as I just love it here. It is usually my first stop in town, and I look forward to my large margherita pizza with balsamic glaze. I'm not sure why I look at the menu, as I always order the same thing. But I am still given time to look over the menu, just in case. The pizza has a thin, crispy crust that was so good I managed to eat all but two slices! I highly recommend adding the glaze; it really makes the flavors pop. A lot of the specialty pizzas are named after neighborhood streets. The Elm, Bessemer, Hendrix, Leftwich, Isabel, and Magnolia. The Park and Fishers Finest are named after the area. The neighborhood bar has 14 rotating beer taps. There is a large selection of appetizers, including wings, grilled cheese, chicken tenders and some dips. If you aren't in the mood for pizza, they have a good variety of salads and subs. Service is top-notch here, and the staff is so welcoming and attentive. The prices are reasonable, too. I like that they brought out a plate and silverware with the pizza tray. I am already looking forward to my next margherita pizza. If I lived closer, I'd be eating here every week!

She was very nice, but only filled our drinks one time and didn't ask us if we wanted any other drinks. The pizza was delicious, but it came out cold as if they didn't serve it right away. I would go back but maybe on a different night to see what the service was like on another day. Overall, it was an OK experience.

The salads are excellent!! I have 2 favorites -- the Ceasars which I like to add chicken to and the Arugula & Pear salad. I'm sure the others are delicious but I've been stuck on those two. I've tried several pizzas and they've all been delicious! My favorites are the BBQ Chicken pizza & the Margherita pizza. Their Margherita pizza is possibly THE BEST I've had outside of Italy! They do a great job with this pizza. Others that are very tasty are the pepperoni and one other that was a special that included prosciutto and arugula. There are so many others that look great but I'm the type that likes to "go with what I know" and like. The pizza crust is light and very flavorful. Servers are solid. There are TVs with sports on -- my favorite! There are tables and big booths and a cute bar. There is a patio for the warm days. Parking lot has sufficient spaces and is free.
