After surgery, he personally spoke with me, gave me his direct cell phone number, and actually answered when I called with questions. He didn't brush me off--he listened, cared, and gave advice that truly supported my recovery. Six months later, I needed cataract surgery and met Dr. Geller. She is not only a highly skilled surgeon but also professional, compassionate, and easy to talk to. She made me feel heard and cared for every step of the way. The staff always greets me by name, which makes me feel valued as a person, not just a patient. The surgical coordinator, Ms. Isolene, was also excellent--she guided me through the insurance process and every step of my surgery preparation with kindness and professionalism. I've seen them treat their patients with compassion, care and genuine empathy. The loss of stars is for the actual surgeons and physicians. My grandmother had a cataract surgery and then 6 months later needed it to be undone. Another 2 weeks later she needed emergency surgery to remove a bubble and will be left with blurry vision in her right eye. The doctor is in his 70's, this experience has certainly not been easy on her and it has not been seamless. I think he may be too old to be practicing and I think she has had to have unnecessary surgeries to correct a potential misdiagnose or mistake. My other gripe is the inability to get them on the phone. If you do not have an extension number it is difficult to get a live person on the phone. After "waiting for a representative who is assisting other callers " for 3 minutes it hung up on me, several times. It's a poor service and a big inconvenience . I would NOT refer anyone here

He is a gifted surgeon and a compassionate human being. He has an easygoing demeanor but is serious about ensuring favorable outcomes for his patients.
