Ginger sauce, was very good. They DO have yum yum and much larger portion then ginger. Restricting my carb and sugar intake so passed.

Wanted to hit Monticello today, but the rainy weather changed my mind. Needed to run an errand in Madison Heights anyways figured I'd do that and maybe find somewhere new to eat. Looked around yelp and decided on here. The place was very clean and the waitress was very upbeat and very nice. Maybe because it had just opened there were not many people, but we enjoyed that. The service was extremely fast and the food tasted really good and with generous portions. The ginger dressing seemed house made, loved that. Not in the area too often, but will be coming back again. ** after our order was taken I mentioned they didn't ask how we wanted our steak cooked. We both eat ours different but both enjoyed how it was cooked. If that's big how it's prepared make sure you maybe ask or recommend. Since the sides and steak were under $20 it was no biggie as long as it wasn't burnt and this was nothing near that, just really good. Cooked all the way through , but had a tiny blood when you applied pressure. The leftovers cold were delicious!

Love this place the food is delicious and the staff is great! Open grill to watch food prep and the smell is amazing

First time and will not be my last! Nothing but kudos!!!!! Ordered the shrimp and steak habachi and the shrimp udon soup... The staff was great at explaining the menu especially Mary she was able to answer all menu questions with a smile. I am looking forward to dining in next time. Love the red Asian décor!

New place in Madison Heights so my wife and I decided to try it out because we both love Japanese and Asian food in general. Extensive menu and reasonably priced. Decor was nice. Private booths and several tables. Food was not over sauced and was cooked perfect and portions were very generous. We'll be back!

Picked up an order and it was ready on time. Eggrolls were a little salty. Would have liked more portions in the carry out boxes.

Menu is limited. To be fair I was looking forward a more traditional Chinese menu. Their menu needs a few descriptions on the dishes.

The dining area and bathroom were both clean. I arrived around 12:40 p.m. for lunch and waited nearly 20 minutes for my food. The rice portion was large, but it was mixed with eggs and had no flavor--I didn't finish it. The Lo Mein was okay; I've had better, but it wasn't terrible. The egg rolls were the biggest disappointment. I expected to see shrimp or chicken inside, but they were mostly vegetables. The staff was attentive and polite, and the atmosphere was nice. However, I probably wouldn't return. For the price, the food just didn't satisfy my taste buds. 3 stars for the staff and cleanliness of location.

We ordered the house lo mein (beef, chicken, and shrimp) and the shrimp pancit meal. The pancit came with 3 lumpia, which I was unaware of, but pleasantly surprised. And boy, did I wish I ordered more! The pancit was PERFECT as was the lumpia, just as I remember it from our overseas tour! Needless to say, I will be making a full effort to stop in there and see what other goodies they have. The food was delivered piping hot and oh so good!

There are tables inside a spacious hall decorated with greenery and interesting architecture. I'm not sure I ordered the best thing on the menu, the Teriyaki chicken panini was lightly sauced teriyaki chicken and Swiss cheese on thick Texas toast type bread. It could have been better honestly, it had a weak flavor and was pretty messy and hard to eat. The French fries were good, maybe a little overly salted but good. I would give it another try.

Very nice staff, answered our questions, and were quite friendly. Ordered two gourmet burgers and a 'cheese steak' panini. All three came with fries and were visually appealing. The burgers were stacked, had nice veggies but the meat was rather tasteless, a real disappointment. The panini was inedible. The "steak" was strips of very tough and chewy meat that pulled right out of the bread, and the peppers overrode all other tastes. A real disappointment. The staff came and checked on us twice, very attentive. I would try it again, just to try another of their very creative dishes, but I am not running back. Good for a stop if you are downtown.

It has plenty of parking in the Mall's parking lot. Inside it has an Anime-Themed mural with contemporary furniture and extremely comfortable chairs and tables in which to eat at. They offer friendly and fast service in a cozy and charming environment. The owner is Chinese but cooks amazing Japanese cuisine and has a great personality. He often brings the food to your table and makes it a point to personally greet and welcome you and get feedback about the food as well as answer questions about any item on the menu. While I was there he even served himself a Ramen and joined his customers eating during a slow period that was unusual. Usually the place was full with at least a couple of parties at the tables and Take Out orders customers coming to pick up their phone orders. I was welcomed and greeted at the ordering counter by a friendly young lady who quickly took my order. I ordered Fried Spring Rolls as appetizer, a Beef and Shrimp Hibachi with a fountain drink as my main meal, and a Mango Mochi Ice Cream, which was unbelievably delicious. Next time I'm definitely trying out their Ramen Soup that looked amazing as all the members of the large party next to me were having. Besides the fact that the food was served in generous portions at reasonable prices, I kind of appreciated the interaction that the Asian Owner / Chef had with me and the other customers. It made for an amazing dining experience like no other before. And so not only do I highly recommend this Asian family-owned restaurant but am already looking forward to coming back.

This Asian fusion restaurant in the Cave Spring area of Roanoke, is definitely one of my favorite restaurants of all times. And my first visit and review is something that I will always hold very dear. When you finish reading this review I invite you to go back and read that review and view my photographs accompanying that review, for it was a very unique dining experience that I will never forget. From the time you arrive at this restaurant the contemporary building design seems to beckon you to approach and enter. I love their unique logo design made up of letters and a number of a particular font that communicates a certain air of distinction. Once inside, you're like in another world altogether. If the outside of the building was impressive, the interior immediately captures your attention and mesmerizes you with it's beauty. When I arrived today, a very lovely and distinguished lady, dressed very elegantly, welcomed me and led me to the table of my choice. Later did I find out that she was the owner of the restaurant, and I had an opportunity of talking with her about the restaurant, its Sushi Bar, and Sushi chefs. Soon after, my friendly server, who was from Indonesia, came to introduce himself and take my order. To drink I had a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. It was served in a tall glass and tasted marvelous. As appetizer, I had the Dim Sum Platter. It contained 3 shrimp dŕhumai, 3 pork dumplings, 3 pork wasabi shumai, and 2 roasted pork buns. One of those items was extremely spicy, I had to drink water to cool down. The others tasted reasonably good. As my main entrée I had the Lobster Tail Tempura Maki. It was very colorful and tasted, and completely filled me up. My original server did an excellent job serving me the food and coming by to check on me. But then he disappeared and another server, also Indonesian came to bring me my main entrée. I think it might have been a shift change, but feel the first server should have let me know about this fact. But if the first server wad excellent, the second was amazing. He answered all the questions I had about items on the menu, and while delivering special dishes to other customers, he allowed me to photograph this food for the benefit of the readers of this review. Then, at the end, he helped me choose the dessert to have for the Grand Finale of my meal: the Banana Basket. It was amazingly delicious and had slices of bananas, kiwi, mangos, whipped cream, and strawberries. And topped with caramel and chocolate sauces. Considering its friendly and relaxing ambiance, its extensive menu with a wide range of Asian dishes, from traditional Chinese entries to a full sushi bar with raw and cooked options, and its amazing customer service, I definitely highly recommend this restaurant from my own experience. Every time I've dined there I've had an exceptional fine dining experience, and as I'm leaving I'm already looking forward to returning.
