Sometimes the best places in life, are the places you least expect. I was in the area and felt the urge for Chinese. My friend said he always goes to "New Wing Shun Kitchen" and that the food is amazing. I guess that means I have to try it and yes, of course, Yelp it. It's located in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking. The store seems as if it's been there for a longtime, it's a bit dated. And the inside was no different. The main dining area was small. It was also a bit on the needing attention side. But I wasn't staying to eat. I ordered my food and it was prepared pretty quickly. Once I sat in my car, I wasted no time. I tried the crab ragoons first. Truth be told, they were delicious. I was surprised with the flavor. I can say they are the best I've had. Next was my combo. I tried the chicken and it was tender and not chewy like the normal place I goto by my house. This chicken was juicy and the sauce was perfect. The broccoli was the way I like it and the rice, was fluffy and worked with the meal. I normally never get rice, but my friend recommended it. My experience with this place was positive, I would definitely go back and recommend like my friend did for me. I only hope, they clean up before more people show up.

Mostly a takeout place but they do have a couple tables

Look, I'll be honest, it's not our favorite local Chinese food place, but it's the one we tend to go to most often because of how convenient it is. They have solid food, and nothing we've ever ordered has been bad; to the contrary it's always a good meal, I just can't say it's the best Chinese food around. The woman that works the counter is always pleasant. The food is always ready relatively quickly. It's really a respectable establishment that provides a consistent experience, which is probably the other primary reason we go so often.

    Yum!

They advertise delivery then go on to say only Uber eats or DoorDash making the order $15 more. Dishonest and false advertising.

Dark paneled, highly polished wood and Asian accent prices blend with low lighting, neon and the ambient pulsing of low-key club music. Our waiter was... stoic. Huggy feely was not on the menu apparently. But that was fine. He was prompt and attentive and that's all we really want when we head out. Fairly extensive menu with a lot of sushi-house standards as well as their own specialty rolls (which, I guess, is a pretty standard thing to do as well). We got the ceviche for an app which was very small and pretty basic. Also got the Crunchy Crunchy Crunchy which was more interesting. Soft, spicy tuna provided a nice counterbalance to the fried seaweed. Oyster Bay roll featured a thin slice of jalapeño on top of each piece with a dollop of spicy Mayo. Not really hot (then again, I tend to like napalm on my wings) but had a pleasant and persistent kick. We have ordered takeout as well. Their Thai options seem to be fairly done. They should get an award for the most over-the-top take out bags. Overall, a nice night out. Happy with the service, ambiance and, most importantly, the food. We'll be back!

Every time I walk in, I feel like I'm being taken care of & it keeps me coming back way more often than I'd like to admit (I'm officially addicted). And the crispy brussel sprouts... honestly, they're to die for. I could three whole orders by myself without blinking. I made my journey to bird baos on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon, and my stomach was craving some baos! I came across the man working the front, Tom. Tom was extremely friendly and the best part of our interaction was the fact that him and the owner worked together prior and came up with this masterpiece of an idea to open up shop In the heart of Patchogue. I started off with their popcorn chicken, so flavorful with a mega crunch! But you have to dip it in their house sauce! It's the cherry on top. The baos were moist and delicious especially when you dip them in their bao sauce. I got the 2 bao combo that came with 2 baos of your choice, fries and a soda. Their fries are probably the favorite, they're the perfect combination of peppery and salty! Both a plus! The first bao was their Nashville chicken. Sweet and savory chicken in their soft bao bun topped off with some pickles. Packed with flavor! Second i chose the sweet heat bao. Probably my favorite out of all of them haha! Even Tom told me I made a great decision haha! Sweet and savory chicken with their house garnish of carrot and cabbage! Oh myyyyy it was delightful, wish I ordered 3 of each! Wonderful experience, even greater ambiance. Come stop by after a long day or a day of drinking, which both you'll find the satisfaction at Bird and Bao.

Never heard of this eatery until Sunday 4/26/26! Our hungry stomachs saw the signage of this store and we were curious. This location is the first on Long Island and they have been here a little over a year. Mark, the gentleman behind the counter was friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions about the chicken seasonings and other Korean dishes on the menu. We ordered Korean wings and drumsticks with soy garlic and Korean BBQ sauce. The meals come with crunchy Coleslaw or Pickled Radish. We opted to get both! We also got an order of seasoned fries on the side. We raced home and sat down to have our meal. This food did not disappoint!! We were throughly satisfied with each fresh, flavorful bite after another. Now that I've been awoken from my slumber...apparently this chain has gone viral, I am looking forward to returning and trying more signature dishes. If you're still sleeping on this place...you need to WAKE UP! And give them a visit. Thank me later....

Definitely worth a try and we will definitely return to try other menu options. They were also very friendly.
