He's very talkative which made me anxious but that's just because I'm a bit nervous and have social anxiety. But he's very polite and informative on what he has and what we were looking for. We had got a dresser that was really pretty for 150$ and it was more than I wanted to spend because I had been trying to find a good thrift store dresser but the quality, the style, and just overall was great for the price. All real wood aswell being that cheap right now is amazing! There was also a vanity we had gotten the same day, it looks like a normal wooden table/desk but the middle panel of the table opens up into a mirror with makeup storage and ect. All real wood and made in the 1800s! For 150$ same price as the dresser. Both are very pretty and amazing. I'm really happy with my purchases here! I recently purchased three items in this store a few minutes before they were closing (a brand-new ottoman, metal vertical locker, and metal basket). The employee, seemed to be in a hurry, but still kindly offered to load the items in my car. I told him I was concerned about all of the items fitting in my car in one load and he insisted it would be fine. While I was moving items in my backseat to my trunk to make room, he loaded my car. I have attached photos showing how he loaded the items. The fabric underneath the Ottoman was torn and the legs were scratched up. In addition, the tint on my windows was damaged. I called the store the next day and explained the situation to Jan and Jan said that they guarantee the loading of items and that she would either refund me the money or order another brand-new ottoman, but I had to email the photos to the manager, Kim. Kimberly responded and was very rude and unprofessional. She stated that since I cannot prove that the damage was done by the employee loading my car, they weren't going to do anything. All of my photos were time stamped and taken in their parking lot. I could not go back inside the store to talk to them, because they were already closed. I am in honest and fair person and I am so disappointed in the service I received. If you buy anything here, do not let them load your car. Also, they have a final sale policy on everything, but they don't tell you that. It is printed on your receipt AFTER you've already purchased the items. Their rebuttal to my credit card company was simply that I signed the credit card receipt. Legally, that's all they had to do.

That was my experience with ordering a pantry from Modern Bungalow. It took a few months to arrive, because Amish master craftsmen took the time to build an absolutely stunning piece of furniture, from carefully chosen pieces of gorgeous maple wood. If the pantry were small enough to fit on a dresser, I'd call it a jewelry box; it's that beautiful. The pantry is amply-sized. Using traditional hand-tooled and mortise-and-tenon joinery techniques, the pantry is meticulously constructed. The substantially deep shelves, which I have already loaded with giant heavy canned goods (like San Marzano tomatoes, for making my famous pasta sauce), and bottles of imported vinegars and California's finest olive oils, not to mention a cartload of baking supplies, provide ample storage for any manner of pantry goods, and the hardware used for the pantry doors is substantial enough to keep them from ever sagging. Thank you, Modern Bungalow, for helping me to obtain an heirloom-quality pantry that my kids will likely fight over some day, right after my funeral.

A young Hispanic woman met her at the door, was very helpful, she found a good fridge ($1800 for a dang fridge these days, ouch) and the whole experience was great. $20 to remove the old one, that's a good deal. So they scheduled the delivery for this coming Monday Oct 10 and made promises about 3-4 reminders being sent to her that day about when they will arrive. We shall see but so far, so good.
