I friggin love this place. I rotate between the mock chicken garlic sauce, eggplant garlic sauce, and general tso's tofu. Yes I'm vegetarian, and I really appreciate these wonderful folks having am more than a few delicious options for us. Says a lot when mall food court chinese is better than a take out restaurant. Absolutely disappointing. Not only did the order take a tremendous amount of time because they screwed up a prior order for someone else, but not a single remedy to fix this long wait. Just hey your food is ready. The lady that picked up the phone was real friendly, but they charged me a delivery fee because my meal was under $18, That bothered me a little because I paid more for nothing. The food got to my house real fast, I was very impressed about that. So the only thing I don't understand is why it came cold. I put it in the microwave to warm it up. The crab ragoons (crab meat and Cheese) were great, but the spareribs were not the best I ever had. I mean I was hungry so it did the trick. But I'm sticking with Sweet Garden. read more

The lady answering the phone was articulate and spoke English well ... The order was incorrect on two items. In addition each item was substandard. The vegetable chow mein was completely uncooked. Imagine crunchy bitey onions quarters in a soupy stock. yuke! They because they uncooked the chow mein gobs of jarred chopped garlic were revealed in the meal. Jarred prechopped garlic rather than raw FRESH is unacceptable. Even the boned ribs were burnt, reminiscent of burnt ends, this however is NOT BBQ. This was the first and last time we will order from this establishment since the food was disgusting. There was no detectable meat in the sesame chicken, just pieces of fried breading (possibly?) and the sauce for the orange beef and sesame chicken tasted more like soy sauce then its respective dish. I placed a large order , Boneless spare ribs, Chicken wings with pork fried rice ,Pork lo mein, pork egg rolls,Egg drop soup, and Fried dumplings . First things first when the driver came to the door he was looking for payment. I told him i ordered it online and paid with a credit card. He then called the restaurant asking if they got paid . Well we squared that away .Besides it being over a half hour late the food was terrible, the boneless spareribs where the worst i ever had ,it had no flavor it was coved in oil just bad.The chicken wings where fair but not crispy and the pork fried rice was plain with very little flavor and very little pork. The pork lo mein had very little flavor and the color of the pork was gray and the noodles where pail and off white-in color i never seen lo mein look like that. The egg drop soup was fair nothing to brag about ,the fried dumplings where loaded with water and on the bland side. And the roast pork egg rolls had no pork in it .All in all i would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

It's been a long time since I was in town and ate here, that time I had the sushi which was surprisingly good. This time I had dumplings; fried, grilled and in udon noodle soup. I loved the chicken ones which were fried and in sauce, and so did my sister and nephew (who wanted to drink the sauce). The shrimp udon was pretty good, broth could use more flavor so I added soy sauce. The staff was nice and asked about out Thanksgiving....somehow started talking about Turducken and a strange Mongolian dish (was it lamb and chicken?) Anyway, they closed down the dollar store that used to be there next door but a few miscellaneous items are now sold in the shop. read more

New Rooster is overpriced and servings are small. Food is bland and undercooked.They also charge you $1.00 extra is you don't spend at least$18.00 on your debit or credit card which is illegal. I'll continue to drive to How May in Patchogue which is a million times better. read more

Delicious! My family is vegetarian and it's so hard to find a good Chinese food restaurant that can make tasty vegetarian options. Get the bean curd with garlic sauce and brown rice- healthy and you can't beat the price. Kitchen was expansive and clean.
