The two ladies who were working there yesterday were very nice and kind to me and my mother. I told the woman about my anxieties and getting my nails done because of the last time I went to a and she was very gentle with me and asked me questions to make sure I was right. I absolutely love the pedicure I got there and it made me feel safer and happy. It felt very inviting and it was very clean inside. I felt like I could breathe with the nice open space they have inside. I will definitely be going back again and telling other family and friends about this place. I originally made an appointment to come in for just a gel pedicure. Everything was going fine for most of my pedicure. Toward the end, I decided I wanted to get a mani too & asked if she has the time. From this point on is where it started getting weird lol. Keep in mind the salon was empty other than one other customer getting a pedicure next to me. Her mood shifted suddenly. She started huffing and puffing & looking irritated. I was contemplating saying never mind before she even started doing my hands because I was already irritated and very confused with her demeanor and complete lack of professionalism. I show her a pic of what I wanted for my nails, to which she makes a discouraged face & responds that "she'll try"...not the type of confidant, excited response you would expect from a competent nail tech. Now, understandably, this left me distrustful of her ability to give me a result I would be happy with. Nonetheless I've already made it this far and really just wanted to get my nails done and get out of there ASAP. She takes a 20 minute intermission in the middle of filing my previous gel x off my nails to make a phone call. Soon after, she takes out a powder that resembles dip powder. Because she didn't bother to communicate at all about the type of nails I had, I worried that she was going to attempt to put dip powder on my gel x nails so I say curiously "is that dip powder?" That one question made her crash out! "No it's gel x...that's what you have, isn't it?...I've been doing this for MANY years...I know what's on your nails!...." in a truly unnecessary and embarrassing display of insecurity because she herself was not confident she could do a good job...and she was right lol At this point, I'm just looking back at her and nodding while she continues to try to berate me until she realizes I'm not saying anything back and suddenly snaps out of it. What follows is a very awkward silence during which I decided that I would 100% never be returning to this "salon." Her tone was so incredibly bitchy & uncouth it took me a second to fully process her disrespect. Anyways....She doesn't cut my nails down at all even though they were clearly very grown out, which she made sure to make several comments on. She spends about 60 seconds total to " file" them into the shape I wanted. Unfortunately I can't provide a pic of the lumpy mess she left my nails with because I rushed home to fix the shape into what I actually asked for. I asked for a cat eye French tip, almond shape. The end result was sloppy & super lumpy with the worst looking, crooked French tip I've ever had in my life. Save your money and go to a salon where you'll be respected and given what you actually asked for. If the 2 stars isn't enough of a sign to avoid this place, this is your warning lol

I'm fairly certain he skipped steps during the pedicure and he didn't pay attention to the top coat he applied until after it was dried. He put a matte finish on instead of a glossy. He offered to put glossy on top, but after over an hour of poor service I was just ready to go home. I doubt I'll be back, nor would I recommend the salon to others.
