Angel Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Prince Frederick, Maryland

My review is based on my specific needs. I only get pedicures once a month and don't like the pomp that comes with them. I was in the area and stopped in. The pros are that it's quick, and the owner and I had a great discussion about the area. The cons are that it is not a relaxing place. One of the nail techs blasted her music from her phone while the salon was playing music. My cuticles weren't touched, and they burned a lot of incense. If you have issues with loud smells, don't come. I was charged $33, which would be fine if my cuticles were cut. read more

I absolutely love the service. My visits are always enjoyable and and no long waits!! The very best quality!

My nails always look bad when I come here And my nail shape is off when I come here And to be honest I'm sorry but the smell of the room makes me sick and all of the other salon I go to to get my nails done do not smell like that. I DONT RECOMMEND IT!!!!! read more

Excellent service! Cindy did an AMAZING job and made my nails absolutely beautiful!! I am a new customer here, and I will definitely be back. read more

I had my nails done at Angel nails with 3 other friends about 4 days ago...one of my nails already popped off. This experience was honestly probably the worst nail experience I've ever had, and don't even get me started on how much it cost. The guy doing nails was pretty rude and pushy, I felt like I was unable to relax in the type of environment. He also kept telling my friend how gross her feet were..which I'm sure his aren't any better but whatever. We all have thick skin so we can handle rude comments here and there, but what we could not handle was the price. We got the most basic things, acrylic set with a pedicure..$130 each before tip..I have NEVER spent that much on nails, especially for how basic (no design or anything) and and crooked the nails are. I will never go here again. read more

I won't go to this salon ever again. I had a pink clear on my toes and I had to argue with the guy to take off the old polish. He kept saying "I don't see it it's not there". Dude, it's there, I painted it. He was like yanking my leg during the massage and slamming my foot back on the footrest. Finally I said, "get some polish remover and remove the old polish, you're not painting on top of it ." He put up his glasses and then saw the pink clear polish. He THEN removed the old polish and was "nicer" to me. I tipped and left with out saying a word. Never again. He was abusing me because he didn't want to believe me there was polish. I should have said "you jerk my leg and slam it down like that again, I'm leaving and not paying" (kinda wish I did) read more

10/10 RECOMMEND! I used to dread coming to a nail salon just to get a pedicure or manicure and wait for an hour BUT ANGEL NAILS is the Perfect place to go if you're in Prince Frederick! Cindy is fast, wonderful and full of laughter I appreciate the fast pace and laughs x read more

Went here for the first time with a few friends. I never get my nails done, but my best friend was getting married so her whole bridal party went to get nails done for the wedding. Everywhere else was booked in the county, which is why we went here. They only had two people working. The woman was very nice to us. However, the man working was extremely rude. He mocked me multiple times and made very rude comments. I am hard-of-hearing and asked him to repeat himself, to which he replied with "huh huh huh huh ?!???" in a mocking tone. He also kept telling me how terrible my feet looked while he was doing them. When we checked out, the price was over $130 each for an acrylic manicure and painted toenails (no designs or anything). Our nails were no where near worth this much. We got the cheapest pedicure they had, and my nails are way too thick and bulky. Plus half of the acrylic nails are crooked. He also kept pushing my arm down and telling me to relax, which felt pretty forceful and odd. The prices on the board were not accurate at all, unless they took advantage of us and overcharged us. They could have at least told us the cost would be more than what they had posted. Will not be going here again. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I paid for a gel manicure with gel overlay AND gel polish. The gel over lay was so thin that within 1 day 2 nails had broken. I have been getting my nails done a long time and I have NEVER had this happen to me! When I returned to ask for my money back so I could get them redone at a different salon they refused to give me my money back and finally threw $4 at me and told me that was my refund for 1 nail embarrassing me and belittling me in front of other customers. Horrible at nails and horrible customer service. It's funny when Cindy was doing my nails she kept asking me why everyone went to Spa Nails and not to her shop...now I know! Don't waste your time or money...there is a reason they have no business. read more

The service was great I was the only one there but the lady Sydney was very kind knew exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job!! Thank you so much!! read more

Worst experience I have ever had in a salon. Everything else was booked and this was the only place with no customers... should have been my first red flag. I asked for a full set, ombré with a light pink. Natural. She said they only had two colors.. light pink and white. Then when applying the pink I couldn't see my hands. I look at the hand she finishes and I don't her the pink is really bright. She said this is what all the girls are getting. I told her I didn't like it. I wanted a natural look. She then started getting an attitude with me, "why didn't you say anything when I did the first nail?" Also they were really thick and just couldn't sit through it.. When I asked her to take them off she started filing really rough. Kept hitting my skin. Saying "don't worry. I won't charge you for this" I asked her to just wrap them. I would take them off when I get home. She kept telling me no. She wouldn't. Just five more minutes. Walked over to another lady waiting and started doing her gel manicure. After she finishes with her she takes the trill to try to get off the rest of the nail... then asks me, "why didn't you just go to where you usually go if you don't like the nails." I told her everything was book and I just got off work. She told me, "maybe you should have gone to somewhere that knows what you like" I told her I have tried several new places. I've never had problems like this before. She proceeds to ask, "where?" So I names some places. She said next time go there... then burns my nail with the file. I pull my hand back and she asked, "did I burn you?" That's when I had enough. I got up to wash my hands. She said, "did you want me to wrap them for you?" I said, "no. I asked you several times to wrap them. And you wouldn't I'm leaving. Thank you." She said, "okay. I won't charge you. Sorry" WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL ! Needless to say, my nails are now disgusting because I had to rip of the remainder of the nails..... read more

Horrible service! Owner (male) is extremely rude! He does not listen to what you ask for and he does a sloppy job. My nails are crooked, ridiculously thick, the shape I DID NOT ask for, and I am embarrassed to be wearing them. I thought that this salon must have improved since I was last there ten years ago but it obviously has not. I have no clue as to how they stay in business. read more

A great experience and great looking nails! I will be back! I recommend going here. Fast service and quality nails.

Never again will I be going here. I had my nails filled in on a Monday then they started lifting by Wednesday. I went back to get them fixed on Thursday and she tried to tell me they weren't lifting but growing. Really?! When she started to take off the polish she said "look no more" and I replied "yes that's because it's wet". As she continued, I showed her exactly where it was lifting and after she was proven wrong she started to drill too close to my skin and started hurting me. She had the audacity to say because I did too thin. Excuse me... I have no clue on how to use the tools let alone do my own nails. So even though she did them...it's my fault... Never again... read more

Save your money and find another nail place! Worst pedicure ever, it lasted 10 minutes and the man was literally slapping my feet and legs. They had the nerve to try to charge me $43 and I pointed out that the sign clearly stated $33. Never again will I visit this place, I will be filing complaints with the state attorney's office and the license board over the horrible treatment I received and the dirtiness of place. read more

I come here a couple of times a year, for pedicures. I have always had good experiences with the pedicures, and the employees are always nice to me. I always get the basic level and it works for me. The lady working always remembers me which is a nice feeling. No experience here with manicures, but as I am sitting here writing the review they have a bunch of regulars in getting acrylics. read more

Worst salon I've ever been to. Long wait for messy service. Salon looks dirty as well. Beware of catching an infection. Poor poor poor customer service. Drive to Annapolis and get it done right read more

The service is slow I'm here with my daughter and she sat for a whole hr before she was worked On and then the smell is out rages it's hard to breathe this is just terrible smh never coming back here again read more

Very poor experience. I went in with my sister. I got gel manicure and the "deluxe" pedicure. My sister got acrylic and the spa pedicure (the less expensive). Her pedicure lasted much longer than mine. And when I mentioned that mine was sub par the lady told me because she spent a lot of time removing callouses from my feet that it took time away from the pampering portion. The short time she did do the "massage" was very lazy and quick. I am not from around here, but get pedicures often and this was probably the worst. read more

I went after work for a full set acrylic. They had explicit music videos playing which were inappropriate and made me feel uncomfortable. They did not have a big selection of polishes. They kept on pushing me to get gel but i was on a budget and only wanted to pay $25 +tip. I think the nail technician assumed I wasn't going to tip and so he did s crappy job. Will not be going back! read more

Seriously. Worst fill EVER. I wish I could give this business zero stars. My nails aren't even at all, the French manicure looks awful, the owners were yelling at each other so much It made everyone uneasy. My nails have never looked so bad and unfortunately the guy cut them SO short and SO uneven, it's going to be weeks until it can be fixed. I wish I knew how to upload a photo of how bad it is! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. read more

I love Angel Nails, the one in a prince Frederick is the place to be. Cindy always takes good care of me and I love the royal deluxe spa pedicure I highly recommend angel nails to anyone who needs some relaxation!!! read more

Love this place. Always a great job and super relaxing. Better value than most around.

So...chose this place because they were open on Sundays, which is unusual in this area. This is where the good stuff ends - it's not the best place in the area, but they charge like it's at the Ritz-Carlton. Just basic mani-pedis for three people, one of whom is a little girl came up to over $250! Complete rip-off. read more

What a mistake!! Walked in yesterday and was assaulted by the smell. I only wanted a mani with clear polish. Thought it would be quick. Was I wrong. Took forever. The woman was on her phone the entire time. The man did my manicure. The place is filthy!!! My manicure was awful. In fact my cuticles looked better before the service. One of my cuticles is red and painful. Never again. My suggestion is run don't walk!!! read more

I just got the best mani/pedi I have ever had. Great service, clean shop, nice people. I will be back whenever I am in the area. Thanks!!!

I have left reviews for many businesses in my area, motivated by positive experiences and exceptional service. I've never bothered writing anything damaging or negative bc I truly believe everyone deserves to have a bad day and not be blasted for it. My experience today at this salon was more than someone having a bad day, it was about petty and greedy business owners and service that reflected that in more than one way. First point, My husband bought me a gift card for $100 for Christmas -the reason why doesn't really matter per se, but we have two small children so it's a big-ish deal to leave by myself for over an hour let alone even remembering to take time to do something for myself. Today I finally was able to manage it and went in with my mom. We got all the extra side stuff (that used to be free but whatever - inflation I guess) and tried to use my gift card and was told I couldn't, it was no longer valid after 6 months. 6 MONTHS ARE YOU SERIOUS??? First, why do that unless you're just trying to take money from busy people with no intention of providing any service and 2) it's been 7.5 months for eff sake!!!! What proper and honest business does this?! So not only did they get $100 from my husband at Christmas, they got another $100 for todays visit that I wouldn't have even done without the damn gift card! I am completely shocked that they would not honor it, especially after discussing making monthly appointments with them, even after witnessing (point 2) the only two people working taking 6 or 7 walk in appointments, getting them seated and started, then moving on to the next person saying they would be right back and forcing them wait over an hour to continue rather than just asking them to come back when they have more time! It's greedy and petty and not a good plan for a business so saturated, you can walk to 3 other (nicer) places from there, be finished faster, and walk away feeling good about doing something nice for yourself instead of feeling like you've been robbed.... if I could, I'd leave negative stars.... read more

Horrible place will not be returning !!! My niece and I went there to get pedicures and i got a gel filling and my niece got her nails painted. Our total was 95$. I asked why so much come to find out they dont do kid prices. How do you charge a 6 year old 20 dollars for a pedicure and an adult 27 dollars. Might as well charge the kid as an adult. Then there wasnt even soap in my water for my pedicure. Got charged 35$ for a fill in might as well have gotten a full set. Oh i will never recommend anyone to this facility. The prices on the board are way different from what they tell you so please ask about their prices for whatever you are getting before you let them put any polish on your toes or nail. Worst place ever i've never spent that much anywhere......EVER!!!!! Then the end result was horrible of course. When i got home i realized my niece toes had paint everywhere i could have done a better job then that. Just upset they charged me damn near 100$ for a crappy job !!!!! Do not give them your money !!!! read more
