Insurance: The office confirmed my eligibility with Delta Dental prior to my appointment, and billed my insurance following my appointment. Any out-of-pocket expenses not covered by my insurance will be billed , to me, directly. Dental Cleaning: The dental hygienist was friendly, professional, and incredibly thorough. All the procedures, x-rays, and dental treatment options were explained in detail. I received the best cleaning I ever had and my mouth feels so fresh! Dental Examination: The dentist reviewed all my records along with input provided by the dental hygienist shared or identified during my cleaning. I was given an opportunity to ask questions or raise any concerns. The visit was not rushed and all the staff took time to listen and understand the patient. He is patient, listens to your concerns, and strikes up a conversation making you feel that you've known him all your life. He has a calm demeanor making you feel at ease when sitting on the dental chair. His staff, the receptionist and assistant are friendly too. Today, Dr. Albert Lee was able to accommodate me in an emergency visit to remove a broken crown, (not done by him) for my #18 tooth that was injuring my tongue. His assistant was friendly and gentle in creating the temporary crown for me until a new crown can be fabricated. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone.

I really don't want to let out the secret about Dr. Lee, since good dentists are hard to find and…read morekind ones are even harder to find. Dr Lee's a very kind and understanding person and experienced dentist. My family has been coming to him for several years now and at my recent appt, I noticed he got a Yelp award last year so it is definitely time for me to write a review, not that he needs it for his business, but b/c we appreciate his professionalism with a human touch. It's been hard to find a dentist we trust with whom we can also feel comfortable sharing our health philosophies and preferences and who respect our choices. You'd think all medical (and dental) professionals would respect a patient's choices, but I've experienced quite a few brow-beating over the years that left me feeling disheartened and drained instead of encouraged rather than made to feel guilty and my family actually has decent to pretty good teeth! We generally have good to very good oral hygiene and only occasionally get cavities, but we're human and of course there are times when we need some fillings (and hopefully not worse). Options are always presented by Dr. Lee especially with the option to WAIT and SEE, which I've found many dentists do not really allow. I have my thoughts on why they might push patients towards lots of fillings, root canals, crowns, and other procedures, but you, the reader, can probably fill in the blanks. Of course, there are time when those more invasive procedures are needed beyond just a small filling or two, but we really appreciate that he is open to discussion on options instead of strong-arming patients like we've experienced with other dentists. For example, we regularly use coconut oil to practice oil pulling, which is an established hygiene practice of an aryeuvedic nature from the Indian culture (I believe several other cultures practice this too). While this is an alternative and not conventional practice, it has definitely worked for us. I have seen my kids' cavities on their baby teeth (at least) REMINERALIZE after oil pulling daily so that their emergent cavities closed back up some and those baby teeth naturally fell out before they really needed to be filled. Because Dr. Lee is open to these alternative practices even if he may not agree or believe in their effectiveness, he gives us time to try them, and that is how a good dentist-patient relationship is form, on mutual respect. Dr. Lee is also a personable and well-traveled person which means he's open-minded and a globe-trotter and our family enjoys traveling too, so we also have a common conversation topic for when we have our mouths open and he's cleaning and examining our teeth, we enjoy listening to his latest adventures. He's kind and no-non-sense which is also nice. Finally, his practice is digitized enough so that at least his charts are not on paper anymore as our previous dentist still used paper charts post 2020, and it was hard to get copies of our charts when we transferred to Dr. Lee. I'm not 100% into all electronics, but where there's pro's to bringing the tech to the 21st century, I appreciate that Dr. Lee has invested into those modernizations when others still have really archaic processes like I have to call or email to confirm my appts instead of just respond to a text. Finally, Dr. Lee has a gentle and professional dental assistant who assist him and she, along with the receptionist also make the office a friendly environment. My family has no anxiety when we come for our check-ups and minor dental procedures. Thanks again, Dr. Lee and we wish you a blessed holiday season till we see you again next year!

Once ready I was started with X-rays, then a check for gum health where they were very thorough in getting an analysis done across my overall dental health. Dr. Anna Kim and her assistant were super kind and perceptive to any pain that I was experiencing during getting my cavities filled and the teeth cleaning. I am usually very fearful of the dentist and avoid going (so it has been a very long time since my last visit) but they made me feel welcome and were overall very warm!

My initial visit should've been a red flag since the first dentist was rude but I figured he was just having a bad day. 24 hours before I was scheduled to get a crown, I was told he was called away and Dr Ryan Vilar would be my dentist. The first dentist had said the crown would cost (with insurance) $200. When I showed up for my appt the new guy's only focus was upgrading my crown to the most expensive version-- over $1,000! For a molar that no one would see-- Dr Ryan was adamant that I MUST get that version if I valued my teeth. I left with the crown in place, bleeding profusely, and in a lot of pain. I was in pain for over six weeks. I couldn't eat anything hard, cold, or hot. At no time did anyone from the office call to inquire about the crown or my status. It wasn't worth going back to them, since it was obvious to me that they're a joke. I found a new, competent dentist. When the crown fell off six months later, the new dentist audibly gasped when he saw what was left of the molar underneath. They had needlessly destroyed my tooth. If you value your health, if you value your wallet, if you value being treated as a human client-- RUN AWAY from this place!!!

It was getting to the point that I was considering a root canal and I was struggling with the pain. There is plenty of parking at the office and the receptionist welcomed me in and gave me all the paperwork I'd need to fill out. I was brought back to a chair and I noticed that they have really nice equipment here and the office is really clean and welcoming- well, as welcoming as the dentist can be. There was even a little poster on the ceiling for when you're staring up as they work on your mouth. They took some new X-rays, took a look at my teeth and did some sensitivity testing with ice and some tapping. Ultimately the advice was to keep waiting on my teeth to heal after the fillings- that the fillings were good and not too deep and that the nerves were still healthy but a bit irritated and sensitive from the dental work. I wasn't thrilled about needing to continue to deal with the pain, but it's now been over a month from this appointment and my teeth are feeling almost normal again. There is still some cold and heat sensitivity but the pain is much less and I'm not getting random pain that lingers and gives me headaches. It definitely saved time, money and my real teeth by not needing to do the root canal. My teeth were definitely testing me though- it was a rough couple months.

I visited twice, first for an…read moreevaluation as a new client but thought the cleaning would happen the same day, had to schedule about a week out for the actual cleaning, a bit frustrating as I don't have a lot of free time but I was willing to overlook the problem in communication from staff. The clinicians and hygienists did a great job and I scheduled a follow up. Admittedly, I missed the follow up appointment and was charged a $75 No-Show fee. Within 1-2 days they sent notice of bill, I set it on my computer desk as a reminder but as I said, I'm unbelievably busy and forgot. Today, May 15, 2025, Angela Rodriguez sends me a text threatening to report the $75 missed appointment fee to collections; in short, Land Park Dental's core interest is money, not patient care. I felt this at my evaluation and cleaning, showing me images of my X-rays indicating I need a second deep cleaning (the appt. I missed), a mouthguard, potentially crowns - it just kept adding up. While I am NOT a dental clinician nor hygienist, I AM an epidemiologist with more than 10 years of medical direct patient care mixed with more than 20 years of public health practice. As soon as I walked in for my first appt., checked in, the first thing the front desk staff did was clarify insurance and asked how I would be paying for the remainder my insurance doesn't cover. Received my evaluation and when I checked out with front desk staff, the discussion of money came up again. The same for my second appt. when the actual cleaning took place - money discussion upon checking in and upon checking out. The office manager Angela Rodriguez is incredibly rude, threatening, and off putting. ONLY because they are so close to my residence, I was going to pay the missed appt. fee, and reschedule my second cleaning but today, with Angela Rodriguez's threatening text messages, me informing them that I don't take kindly to threats, AND informing them of the State of California law prohibiting medical debt to be reported to credit bureaus Angela Rodriguez replied with a "thank you" for payment and best wishes for the future; in short, Angela Rodriguez basically dismissed me as a continuing client. I am now searching for a dentist that places patient care above profit. Good Luck!

I've always been very tentative about dental care, it's not something I looked forward to. Until recently. Now, I appreciate my every-6-month visit to Dr. Boyte, and the benefits that provide it. Dr. Boyte has a rare skill; the capacity to share and convey incredibly dense, yet understandable, 'data' about what is going on in my mouth. Dr. Boyte speaks in specific, precisely worded, perfectly structured, terms, always assuring the pace of delivery is synchronized with my pace of absorption. One notices and appreciates the precision and tone conveyed by healthcare providers who are graced with rare communication skills; it conveys an assuring depth of knowledge. After the assessment, we share thoughts on strategies for maintenance (or treatment as the case may demand), and agree on the care that will be provided. Experience only enhances natural talent, so as a patient I appreciate being on the receiving side of Dr. Boyte's practice. Always top notch, but now after 20 years+, the continuity of two decades of care from a rare talent is an undisclosed benefit that is gratefully appreciated. Perhaps what is equally impressive is that "all" that usually follows the informal chat about kids, travel, activities, a current event or two, while recalling personal details shared incidentally at one of my previous appointments. It is a twice-a-year "conversation" that I appreciate and cherish because through these visits and treatments by Dr. Boyte, not only do I get ultra-high quality dental care, but I have an informal record of my life's continuity, expressed in hour-long visits, every six months.
