I dont recommend this place. They just take your money and sell you shitty speakers. The owner is rude and the workers there lie. I went to take my truck to get my speakers fixed I knew they were still good and they ended up ripping my speakers out or so they told me and made me buy new ones. My goal today was to purchase hid lights for my Chevy Tahoe...I will detail my experience here at New Image: First, the owner showed up seven minutes last...not a great 1st impression. Secondly, the owner did not acknowledge my presents, no problem I spoke with a casual greeting. Next, I asked about purchasing the $39 HID lights advertised on Craigslist and he appeared to be offended. Once we identified the model number, I asked if the lights included a warranty. He appeared offended again, he commented, "you get a 7 day warranty, these are not $300 HID lights!" Finally, I guess he felt I was a waste of time, he simply walked away and left me standing. When you finally can get someone to help they try to get you to by the most expensive things even when u tell them your exact budget. All of this while it seems like they are being bothered by the fact that they need to help you. Absolutely the most horrible experience ever in my life getting a new radio and speakers! My son and his friends recommended this place... I was overcharged 50% for the radio... I should've done route more research I could've bought the same dual 10 inch radio at Walmart for $170 but they charged me $399 the speakers you can get on Amazon almost half the price for a pair... The grand total $850... and my car still sounds like crap. I don't recommend this place they're not honest about the cost or prices for parts... I would not recommend coming to this place for any type of installation. I purchase a new vehicle and took it here to have my subs and door speakers installed. When i got home i noticed that there were holes drilled through my back seat and could also tell that they used a flathead to loosen the tight fittings which left scratches. I contacted the shop several times and was finally given a phone number to reach the owner who gave me the run around for two weeks. One Saturday i met the installer at the shop, he patched the holes, installed tint in my car for free and when i got home that day i realized that the tint has lots of wrinkles and the tint piece they put at the top of my windshield was uneven. I've been meaning to get a sound system for my new vehicle but not having any knowledge in this subject, I came here to see if they can help me answer my questions to see what's my best option(s) for my budget. Walking in I wasn't even acknowledged, no big deal...next he was very bothered when I told him I had a budget. 3rd...I told him all the available space I have with depths and he recommended a $900 custom box. I was confused by that time.... 4th by that time I guess he thought I was a waist of time so he walked off to the back. As I'm walking around I spotted a perfect sized woofer that came with a perfect sized box. I yelled out "hey dude how much is this one here?" And got no answer, I yelled 3 more times till I walked the speaker to the counter and yelled out again, he was sitting no more than 5ft away from me, he just simply decided to ignore me the whole time. I asked him what amp he would recommend for the tiny woofer and he said a 1000watt amp...I may not be knowledgeable at car audio but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that an 8in woofer requires 1000 amps... by this time I was frustrated, I came here thinking they can help me with my questions but ended up getting crappy attitude and poor customer service. The customer that came in before me also left the store with a frustrated face. Seems like these guys have a reputation for this type of stuff. read more
